"Powerful, Fast, and Effortless Data Insights"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Sumo Logic?

The platform remains incredibly powerful yet accessible. The ease of use in terms of getting data in and the speed of the query language are top-tier. I appreciate how quickly you can go from a raw log to a meaningful visualization. The pre-built dashboards and the App Catalog make it easy to get immediate value without having to build everything from scratch. It feels like a platform built for engineers who need answers fast, not just a storage bin for data Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sumo Logic?

The new UI is a significant pain point. Specifically, the removal of the internal tabbing system has disrupted my workflow. In the old UI, I could manage multiple searches and dashboards within one browser window effortlessly. The new "browser-native" tab approach feels cluttered and makes it much harder to pivot between concurrent investigations without losing my place. Additionally, the navigation in the new UI feels more "click-heavy" and less intuitive for those of us who grew used to the classic layout. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Quick, Real-Time Data Searches That Save Me Tons of Time"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Sumo Logic?

One of the things I like most is how it lets me run quick, real-time data searches. It’s excellent because it saves me a huge amount of work time, without so many problems or errors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sumo Logic?

What doesn’t convince me are the tabular reports. They’re not intuitive at all, which is frustrating because when you need to review something quickly, you end up getting tangled up and wasting time. An improvement in that area would be great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good platform for centralized logging and audit evidence collection"
4/5
What do you like best about Sumo Logic?

Sumo Logic has been very helpful for collecting and retaining logs that we use as audit evidence. It makes it straightforward to centralize logs from multiple systems and then quickly search across them when we need to demonstrate activity for compliance or security reviews. The search functionality is both powerful and flexible, which is especially useful when we’re trying to pinpoint specific events across large volumes of logs. I also appreciate that it integrates well with many cloud services, making it easier to bring everything together in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sumo Logic?

The learning curve for building queries and dashboards can feel a bit steep, especially for new users who aren’t familiar with the query language. Some workflows also take a few extra steps compared to other tools, and troubleshooting ingestion issues can sometimes be time-consuming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sumo Logic?

The UX feels clunky to me, also for a beginner can be difficult to get hold of things quickly. The queries differs from standard SQL hence requiring little extra efforts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A great tool for logging that is easy to use and has great training resources"
5/5
What do you like best about Sumo Logic?

I have started to enjoy the new UI. After many years of using the old and stacking the tabs, I have come around to the new way. A course that I did the other day also took my parse skills to the next level. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sumo Logic?

Id like them to take their AI tool to the next level. Currently I ask it some questions and its less adaptable than other inbuilt AIs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What stands out to me is Sumo Logic’s real-time analytics and ease of deployment. The agent-based and API-driven ingestion makes onboarding fast, and the query language is powerful yet intuitive. The platform’s machine learning capabilities for anomaly detection are also valuable for proactive threat detection and operational visibility. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Complete Visibility and Fast Real-Time Insights with Sumo Logic"
4/5
What do you like best about Sumo Logic?

What I like most about Sumo Logic is the complete visibility it provides, along with how quickly it displays real-time data. For me, it works very well with microservices and integrates almost natively with AWS and Google Cloud. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sumo Logic?

On the downside, I’d say the alerts take a little while to appear. So far, the notification speed isn’t as instantaneous as I expected for a tool of this caliber. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
