I like that StrongDM makes it easy for our users to securely access cloud resources without needing a separate VPN. We can provide SSH access to instances, access to databases, and even dashboards for tools that we don't want to make publicly available. Additionally, StrongDM allows us granular control over the resources that individual users have access to. StrongDM support is also fantastic. What do I like best can easily be summed up by sayng "it just works". Since we initially on boarded with StrongDM the solution has worked for us. As with anything there have been minor hiccups but their support team is quick to email or hop on a zoom and resolve these hiccups. There is not much now that I dislike besides the color scheme. In the past, they would release new features and not let us know about them or how they could be used to solve new issues. There is no need in using VPN for accessing server infrastructure. It's all in-one: SSH, RDP, PSQL, VNC etc. Different access levels for different groups of staff. Audit logs for everything! We love it!)) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

In theory it's a single point of failure - SPF. But it works pretty stable and I don't remember any work interruption in past few months. We're waiting the support of Android and iOS. Hopefully - they will be supported soon Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

strongDM unified our access methods across a variety of production instances, gave us more granular control over that access, and simplified the process for the dev team. It's rare to see a product that improves security and usability at the same time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's possible to go off the rails in specific ways. We mistagged our instances early on and ran into some filtering issues. The strongDM team has been excellent at adding features at our request and addressing these usability issues quickly, though.
