What I like best about Storyblok is its intuitive and user-friendly interface that makes it easy to manage content efficiently. The platform's modular approach to content management allows users to create and manage individual blocks of content, which can be reused across multiple pages and platforms, saving a lot of time and effort. Live preview feature is impressive, making it easy to visualize changes in real-time.
Another great feature of Storyblok is its flexibility and scalability. The platform can handle a variety of content types, including text, images, videos. It also offers multi-language support, which helped us a lot - saving lot of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing really big, maybe the approval workflow needs some improvements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Storyblok's visual editor is a delight to all of our content authors. The page and content-building experience is intuitive, fast, and provides immediate feedback. There is no guessing what the result is going to look like. It is fast and easy to get set up and building content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Storyblok's Javascript libraries need love and attention. The developer experience with integrating and using them needs work.
Storyblok's backup system is not comprehensive of the entire 'Space'. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Storyblok offer wide range features, the good part is it with inuative navigation and search for elements, also possibility to build pages like a lego. Storyblok have a good support team, which are helpful , providing insights and recomendations that we need. Storyblok is a good choice for those who have time to invest to see and unlock all posibilities and potential. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
To understand all system how to work and adapt to inner system it takes time. Need to learn a lot and deal with specific details, to recieve needed solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Straightforward Headless CMS, failry easy to use and onboard content management teams, if the organization requires and is willing to invest the funds, then a WYSIWYG capability is even supported despite Storyblok being a Headless CMS. The ease of implementation also speaks for the selection of this platform. Many existing connectors for other systems (ie. Translation Management Smartling or DAM solutions) round up this platform Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The solution comes with a significant license cost, especially when an organization has larger number of Content Editors, then this can have quite a significant budgetary impact. If a digital experience supports many languages, then there are a few limitations for the concurrent multilanguage content publishing process/workflow. We created our own concurrent multilanguage app within Storyblok to be able to handle content translation and publication workflows without having to stop the process for languages that translated their part faster. I love the UI interface which allows ease of use for content creators.
Project setup for major frameworks is also fast.
There is a lot of content and community support for Storyblok so as a developer and user I'm pleased to find all the required knowledge on their dedicateda page.
Most of functionality can be done by my code so it's easy to integrate with other services.
My current company has a partner program and the contact with customer support is very good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I worked with different CMS in my current possition, the functionlaity I lack the most is multiple spaces/environments for the content.
I wish there was a possibility to work on a content in dedicated space without fear of overriding the production content (an copy of content which can be modified for campaign purposes). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a digital agency transitioning from TYPO3, what we appreciate most about Storyblok is its innovative approach to content management through reusable blocks. The visual editor stands out as a true game-changer, offering an intuitive interface that makes content management accessible even for non-technical users. Coming from TYPO3, we've found that client onboarding is significantly smoother with Storyblok, as the learning curve is much gentler. The flexibility in creating and managing layouts is exceptional, and the straightforward setup process allows us to get projects up and running quickly. Being an Austrian company like us adds a nice touch of familiarity, but more importantly, their understanding of European market needs is evident in their product design. The main pain point we've encountered with Storyblok is their pricing structure. The stark contrast between the free community tier and the entry-level paid plan creates a challenging decision point for smaller projects. This pricing gap can make it difficult to justify the transition for smaller clients or projects that need just a bit more than what the community tier offers but aren't quite ready for the full investment in the entry tier. A more gradual pricing scale would make it easier to scale with client needs and project requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As a developer i really like the flexibility Storyblok offers in terms on how pages can be build up. And even more so, it allows for seperation of concerns with content management not having to be bothered with markup or any technicalities.
The free tier is great and very generous, and for when you need just a little bit more, the entry tier is very affordable.
I have integrated Storyblok in both NextJS frontends as well as in PHP applications, and both are a breeze to do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Unfortuanely, it lacks proper backup support in the lower tiers. we have been able to make a custom implementation using the management api's but im not hoping for ever having to restore a large amount of data.
Another point that can be improved is in multi language support, its very hard to see which content has been translated (and more so, which hasnt been translated yet). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Storyblok has a much clearer, modern CMS with more intuitive interface, especially compared to WordPress. I could confidently use this software in a matter of days, so can't really say there's a steep learning curve.
I am using this CMS for blog content management and so far, it has been a very positive experience.
Also, I like that storyblok often adds new features, like AI assistant for writing blog posts. It helps drafting content, suggesting improvements, and even optimizing, which can improve productivity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not much to share here. Any small issues I had were resolved within 48 hours by updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Designing content and implementing changes to our live website is so easy with Storyblok. A very transparent process that is feature rich and has a host of SEO optimization tools also. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Really had to scratch my head with this one !
Cant say that I dislike anything really about Storyblok. Maybe the wait as any new content changes propagate to our live site :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Storyblok makes it easy for everyone to customize our website. From designers to developers and marketing employees, everyone can easily find their way and perform their tasks properly. The possibilities are endless and the UX is very clear. Storyblok is really for everyone. Whether you have a basic knowledge of Headless CMS, or no knowledge at all, everyone can work with it! It has taken our new website to a new and higher level and we are very happy with that! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If I had to mention a disadvantage, it is that it can sometimes be difficult for (beginner) developers to really make it a modular system. Often when new pages have to be built with new (or existing) content items, hard-coding is needed. It would be nice if this could be made a bit easier for a developer, so that when an item is completely built, it can easily be reused. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The interface of the back-end. It's so userfriendly, easy to use and adjust, you don't need to be a webwizzard to work with Storyblok. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The fact that when I use one block in different pages, I have to adjust every block separately. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
