What do you like best about Stable?

I've been a happy customer of Stable since 2019, when they first launched out of YC. Their support is very responsive and receptive to feedback, and the product experience is great.

Stable sends an email notification every time I get mail, so I can scan and view mail while barely leaving my inbox. They scan with OCR and put the mail sender in the subject line so it is searchable from my inbox. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stable?

- Some sort of cloud storage integration would be really cool — e.g. being able to automatically sync/save scans to Google Drive or S3

- More organization tools beyond tags would be cool (e.g. folders)

- It'd be nice if they supported bulk forwarding; right now, you have to pay to forward each mailpiece individually.

- As someone who lives in San Francisco, relatively close to a physical Stable location, being able to pick up some packages / mailpieces in person would be great; it doesn't really make sense to pay $20 to forward a package half a mile

- The web app could use a few UI/UX tweaks and optimizations to be easier to use / snappier, e.g. it'd be nice if the "Mailroom" page had infinite scroll; not sure if the JavaScript bundles are code-split so the initial load of the web app feels slow Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Stable solving and how is that benefiting you?

Stable provides a stable address, so I don't have to update my mailing address whenever I move. It gives me peace of mind that I won't lose or miss mail because an old address is still being used somewhere.

It's better than a physical PO box or mailbox since I don't need to go in-person to check my mail, they'll scan it for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Stable?

I've tried several of Stable's competitors (Earthclass Mail/LegalZoom, iPostal 1, Anytime Mailbox, Clevver), and the combination of features & price makes Stable the best choice for me.

I own several small businesses (as well as manage things for several elderly family members). So, we have many recipients between my husband, my business partner, the businesses, and multiple family members for whom we receive mail. Many other services charge extra recipients, even if they only receive a few pieces of mail a year; I found Stable's pricing model to be more cost-effective for this scenario. They were also the easiest to implement of all the services I've used.

I've had occasion to contact support several times, and they've always responded promptly and been quite helpful. They also seem very receptive to receiving enhancement requests.

The scans have been very accurate so far.

They have quite a few address locations available, and in the few months I've been with them, they've added several more.

Overall, while some things could be improved (and to be fair, I'm incredibly particular), I'd recommend Stable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stable?

My primary dissatisfaction with Stable is its user interface. While it's very clean and modern looking, it seems less friendly to me than the Earthclass Mail/Legal Zoom UI. Mail is shown as "tiles" in the inbox versus more of an email inbox sort of view. At the very least, there should be a way to toggle to this sort of view. Also, there's no way to multi-select items and then choose the action you'd like to take with them (e.g., forward, shred, download, etc.), which is the most intuitive flow based on applications most people use daily. You can accomplish the same thing in their interface, but you first have to select the action and then select the items. It's contrary to how most other sites and apps work (especially email). Also, some things take extra clicks, e.g., when you're viewing a piece of mail, you can't click an arrow to move to the next unread message or the following message in the inbox. Rather, you need to click back and be sure to remember the location of what you just viewed among the tiles, as you'll need to select the next item manually.

Another item I was surprised about, as I don't recall it being mentioned in onboarding (although I may have missed it), is that while they have many address locations, the mail is all forwarded to their San Francisco offices before it's scanned. Since my address is in Boston, there may be additional delays before seeing the mail. For comparison, Earthclass/LegalZoom operates all its facilities, and scanning is done locally. Hopefully, as Stable grows, they'll add more geographically diverse scanning facilities to expedite things.

While I may sound very critical, none of these items are dealbreakers, and Stable is the right choice for my use case. I encourage anyone looking for a similar service to check them out. Yes, I find the interface somewhat frustrating, but we do not receive a large enough volume of email for where it takes an appreciable amount of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Stable solving and how is that benefiting you?

I recently moved to Berlin, Germany, from Boston and was in need of a virtual mail service to which I could forward things I don't receive electronically. As I mentioned earlier, I have quite a few recipients, and Stable's pricing model was ideal for me when compared to alternatives. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Stable?

Our company has been Stable customers for about 4 years. It operates as our office manager and seamlessly handles our mail, registered agent, check deposit and more. It's easy to use and implement, has very responsive customer support. We use it frequently to manage our mail so we dont miss important documents from the goverment or other entities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stable?

We cant wait for stable to take on more services so we can consolidate our tech stack. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Stable solving and how is that benefiting you?

1) Permanat business address. We have a distributed team and used to be fully remote. There was previously no way to get mail except for going to one of our homes, and we didnt want our home address to be the address of record for goverment filings, etc. So, now it's easy to use Stable for our permanant address.

2) virutal mailbox. We use Stable to receive and manage our mail, easily deposit checks, or route letters to the right person. And it maintains a history of mail so we never lose anything important.

3) Registered agent. We signed up for Stable's registered agent service as soon as they rolled it out. We used to pay a different 3rd party which meant more vendor management, and more expensive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Stable?

Stable is the perfect fit for startups that want a permanent address for the government/banks/etc. and want help with the admin work of scanning mail. They do exactly what they say they do:

1. Give you a non-PO box physical address (because the government and banks hate PO boxes for some reason)

2. Scan all of your mail

3. Shred anything that you need shredded

Friends don't let friends use their home address for their business (I've done this... big mistake). Just get Stable and you'll be glad you did. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stable?

For a while their check cashing service didn't work with Mercury. Not sure if this has been fixed yet; not a huge deal though! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Stable solving and how is that benefiting you?

- Getting a physical address for an all-remote company

- Virtual mailbox where all mail is scanned Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Stable?

What I like best about Stable is how easy and fast it makes reading my scanned incoming mails. The streamlined process ensures I can access important documents without delay, saving me time and keeping my workflow efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stable?

What I dislike about Stable is that sometimes I receive scanned letters upside down. It would be great if the person scanning the mail could pay closer attention to the orientation of each sheet, or if there were an automatic system in place to rotate them correctly. This would save me time and make the experience much smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Stable solving and how is that benefiting you?

Stable solves the problem of having a permanent, reliable address for my online-only business, eliminating the inconvenience of using a P.O. Box. I can rest assured that I receive and can read all my mail without issues. Even packages are handled efficiently, with international forwarding at great prices. For example, I once received a critical security token sent to this address, and Stable ensured it reached me seamlessly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Stable?

Stable has been an outstanding tool for our team’s needs, especially as a startup. The platform functions smoothly, delivering consistent, reliable results that have been crucial for our operations. Their team is exceptionally communicative and responsive, readily providing support and addressing our specific requests with speed and efficiency.

Stable’s affordable rates are well-suited for new companies, and their partnership with Stripe Atlas gave us a three-month free offer—a huge help for us as a newly established company. Overall, Stable has proven to be a dependable partner, meeting or even exceeding our expectations across the board. Highly recommended! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stable?

Honestly, there’s very little to dislike about Stable. The only minor issue we’ve noticed is a slight lag with mail notifications—they tend to arrive a bit behind the website inbox updates. However, this hasn’t significantly impacted our experience, and overall, the platform still runs smoothly and meets our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Stable?

Stable has truly nailed what it means to handle virtual mail effortlessly. We changed our address from one of our founder's homes to Stable. The platform makes managing and sorting incoming mail as easy as it gets, with a super intuitive, modern dashboard that stands out from other clunky services in the space. The entire experience feels incredibly refined, designed with usability in mind. Customer support is amazing, always can get in touch with someone and so helpful Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stable?

Honestly, there’s not much to dislike. As a growing product, I'd love to see them add sending mail from PDF or allowing me as an individual to send route my personal mail to them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Stable solving and how is that benefiting you?

Stable makes managing our business address and handling incoming mail painless. Changing addresses was incredibly straightforward—something that's often a headache with other services. Now, our team can easily manage mail, scan documents, and archive important items in minutes. The speed of processing and the security of a SOC 2-compliant platform give me peace of mind, knowing our sensitive information is well-protected and that we’re saving both time and hassle. However, Stable ensures that each piece of mail reaches the right department promptly.
