I am able to embed a calendar onto my website that allows customers to request appointment times. I still get to approve the times before they are confirmed, but then everything just kind of works. The appointment is added to my phone calendar and I can sync my other events into Square to automatically block out times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do wish Google calendar syncing was included on the free plan. In the last few years I feel Square has really been starting to nickel and dime us by introducing all these features with add-on fees. I don't use this particular feature a lot and would rather have them take a higher credit card fee percentage for booked appointments than have to pay another monthly bill. I love that I don't have to do all the work. Once things are set up it allows the client to schedule and automatically sends an email with the zoom already inserted. Saves time and energy when I can be preparing for the session and not caught up in sending out a zoom invite each time Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It takes awhile to get the hang of but mostly this is just because of user error and getting use to doing it all myself. Perhaps an easier more streamlined way or more tutorials available at a click of a button. Just takes practice and doing it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The combination of booking appointments while charging for them. It's a calendar with money attached! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like the ridiculous waste of time when asking for clients' approval for text messages. We already received the approval and consent, but the system continues to ask for consent other two times for it. Clients do not answer two times. It is redundant and annoying - so we lose the messaging opportunity! Total bummer Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This whole entire Square Appointments is hands down the easiest most user friendly program EVER. This has every option for anyting you could ever imagine needed for scheduling your appointments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have not found anything at all that I dislike about this. If there is something found, than I would suggest its user error, because there is no way anyone could find a dislike with this program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

All of the online booking features are great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Compared to its many competitors it is much more costly especially for sole proprietors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The appointments are easy to set up and check out. It also allows you to send appointment reminder texts! Pretty great for our first system. -massage therapy we tried fresha, and google. Both sucked compared to here. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Square has 2 different apps for retail and services. So you have to use a different app when the clie t wasn't anything other than a service. Which was fine. But now we are starting to sell retail. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We enjoy creating product-wise or service-wise appointment pages through Square, which we can seamlessly share with our customers and followers. It also allows them to make appointments online in the most flexible way possible and receive automated reminders that we don't have to worry about notifying any of them manually. The dislike part about Square is that it is quite limited to color, design, and brand customization. The embeddable widget typically is quite old-fashioned; rather, it would be good if we could customize the widget appearance as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how user friendly it is. It's simple and easy to use. I especially like that I can link it to my business Instagram page for easy booking. It simplifies the entire process of booking without me having to go back and forth with my clients. I can also choose to accept payment through there, though I haven't used that option yet. My entire business schedule is available to me with a click of a button. I've used other calendar services before too. However, they didn't allow me to link to my Instagram which is important for me. It helps me avoid all the DMs, texts, and emails.
The best part about square is that its FREE! No monthly payments, no annual fees. It's all free. The only thing they may charge for is if you begin accepting payments through square. I avoid that by using other methods to accept payment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing I struggled with was the character limit on the service list. I like to describe everything in full detail so I don't have to go back and forth about protocols and booking information. I am limited with how much I can say about each service I offer. I also don't get notified of my appointments the day of/before. I only get notified of initial booking request. This can get a little tricky if I don't constantly check the app to see if I have anything scheduled. I would have loved the option for more notifications. I also felt a little limited with my photo options. For some reason it shows up weird when I send the link to others to book.
Some clients have complained that they weren't able to see my service list. Often times I like to send people over to the link to get a full idea of what I offer. However, they're only able to see what I offer if they submit a date of service first. While most clients can get around this easily, I've had to guide some clients on how to view the full service list. It would be helpful if the service list was separate from the actual calendar availability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the Internet access of external clients, each user can create a reservation for my services and products without me being aware of the system, options for all needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Integrating code in the page by CSS is difficult, sometimes it does not integrate well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
