I like that you can use it on multiple platforms, and I would have given it a nine if it still recorded desktop. I liked not having to be on a call to use it to record the screen to send updates to clients. Can you bring that back? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes it breaks and doesn't record and I have never been able to get a back up of it thought help desk has tried to help. I also don't like that they took away the record screen option vs video. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Spoke is a super easy and must have tool, the desktop app makes it a universal meeting companion- it natively connects to Zoom and Google Meet, automatically syncs to Google/ Outlook calendar and has a feature of auto-joining the meeting for taking notes- it's simply brilliant. There're so many things to like about Spoke:
- Super easy recordings
- Video Summaries
- AI Meeting Summary
- Connects to Zoom and Google Meet Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The UI can definitely be improved, the inconsistencies in design, definitely bug me. One feature that is missing is the auto-removal of filler words, that is a must-have feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the convenience and simplicity of spoke! I've been using it for over a year, and it's helped me track and transcribe all of my meetings! All of my clients are asking me about my recorder and they've started using it too! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There were some issues with my account email and it was a little difficult to make some adjustments there with the google suite connection. However, the founder was super responsive and he was able to take care of my issue! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As someone who attends a lot of meetings, I am always looking for ways to streamline the process and make the most out of my time. That's why I was excited to try out Spoke.app, a meeting recording and minutes generator tool that utilizes ChatGPT to produce accurate and comprehensive meeting notes.
What I like best about Spoke.app is its ease of use. Once I connected the tool to my calendar, it automatically recorded and transcribed all of my meetings. I was able to easily review the recordings and notes after the fact to ensure I didn't miss any important information.
But what really sets Spoke.app apart from other meeting tools is the integration of ChatGPT. With this AI-powered language model, Spoke.app is able to generate meeting minutes that are not only accurate but also concise and easy to read. This feature has saved me so much time that I would have otherwise spent manually typing up notes or struggling to remember key points from the meeting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In terms of dislikes, I honestly can't think of anything significant. There may be some small hiccups in the transcription or minutes generation process, but the Spoke.app team is always quick to address any issues and improve the tool's functionality.
Overall, I highly recommend Spoke.app to anyone looking to make their meeting process more efficient and productive. With its seamless integration and AI-powered capabilities, Spoke.app has become an essential tool in my workday. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love that Spoke integrates with my calendar and not only automatically joins meetings, but I can also add it to any other meetings I have. Being able to easily reference what is said later means that I never have to miss any nuance of what the client is saying and for some services I make the recording available to clients as an added bonus so that they can revisit any insights they need as well. The only thing I dislike about Spoke is that they've removed some features since I started using it, such as the ability to screen record and to upload recordings for transcription. I've had to change my workflow to adjust but I understand that this is to focus on their core service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As a project manager, I recently started using Spoke for my video meetings and it has quickly become a must-have tool for me. The AI-powered features, hands-free note-taking, and real-time agenda tracking have made my meetings more productive and efficient than ever before.
The feature I love the most is the hands-free note-taking. I no longer have to worry about scribbling notes as the meeting goes on. Spoke takes care of it for me and provides me with time-stamped notes that are synced with the video recording and transcription. This has saved me a lot of time and hassle and allowed me to focus on the conversation at hand.
Another great feature is the real-time agenda tracking. I can easily keep track of which agenda items have been discussed and which ones are still pending. This has helped me to keep my meetings on track and ensure that all the important topics are covered within the allotted time frame.
I also appreciate the ability to create meeting templates for recurring meetings. It saves me a lot of time in preparing for these meetings and ensures that everyone comes prepared with a clear set of topics, objectives, and time frames. The ability to create instant meeting reports based on the meeting templates and agendas by tagging agenda items is a real game-changer.
Finally, the ability to share reports directly within an email, Slack, or other platforms or set Spoke to auto-sync to Slack, Microsoft Teams, Notion or Google Drive is incredibly convenient. It saves me time and makes it easy to collaborate with my team.
Overall, Spoke has helped me to lead better, output-oriented meetings and conversations, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve their video meetings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing that I dislike about Soke specifically, however, I can see that some potential users might find Spoke to have a steep learning curve. The AI-powered features may take some time to get used to, and not everyone may feel comfortable relying on a machine for hands-free note-taking and real-time agenda tracking. I enjoy the AI-generated summary after each meeting, this facilitates the participation of all participants by remembering the most important points.
"It has been a pleasant experience thus far, and I see a lot of improvement from last year that I started using the tool, so I hope that the service will continue to improve overall."
"It is a fantastic product that facilitates the effectiveness of my business and allows me to connect with others."
"Spoken is fantastic and has facilitated the re-purposing of content with such ease...Additionally, it has captioned my videos, making them more accessible to the public." Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The editor would benefit from a few enhancements. For example, when editing, I routinely highlighted or selected an incorrect word that I would delete once I had finished typing the correction."
The primary downside is that the entire process of summarizing a video, selecting its highlights or the parts relevant to you, is manual.
"The price is a little high, especially without discounts for students or the like."
"This is not significant, but it becomes annoying when occasionally I discover that it isn't updating all of my calendar events once every month or so." Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

hile Spoke.app has been transformative in streamlining the note-taking process during meetings, there are a few areas that could use improvement. For instance, the AI occasionally struggles with understanding complex technical jargon or heavy accents, which might require manual editing for accurate transcriptions. Additionally, the free plan is quite limited, and upgrading to a paid plan might not be feasible for everyone, particularly freelancers or small businesses with tight budgets. Lastly, while the app's integrations are valuable, expanding the list of supported platforms could further enhance its compatibility and appeal to a wider range of users. The spoke recorder showing up to meetings before me has occasionally led to other people on calls either beginning conersations without me, or booting my spoke user prematurely. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
