**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ronnie S. | Public Speaker, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Spoke?**

Easy to use: Spoke is straightforward and user-friendly. Once I schedule a meeting, it automatically joins and starts recording.
Time-saving: The automatic recording and transcription feature saves me a lot of time. I no longer need to take notes, and I can focus on the discussion at hand.
Organized: The summary of the meeting is sent to my inbox, which makes it easy to find and review later. I appreciate that the app keeps all my meeting information in one place.

**What do you dislike about Spoke?**

As the app automatically records and transcribes every meeting, it's important to ensure that all participants are aware of this feature and have given their consent to being recorded.

**What problems is Spoke solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Note-taking: Before using Spoke, I used to spend a lot of time taking notes during meetings, which distracted me from the discussion and sometimes caused me to miss important information. With Spoke's automatic recording and transcription, I no longer need to worry about taking notes, which has saved me a lot of time and stress.

Memory retention: Even when I did take notes, I sometimes found it challenging to remember everything that was discussed during the meeting. With Spoke's transcription feature, I can review the meeting afterward and ensure that I haven't missed anything.

Accountability: With Spoke's summary feature, I can easily track action items and next steps, which holds me and other participants accountable for following through on commitments made during the meeting.

Convenience: Spoke automatically joins every meeting I have, which means I don't need to worry about remembering to start the recording or missing any information. This convenience has saved me a lot of time and hassle.

  ### 2. You SPOKE and I listened! You had me at, hello.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tara O. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Spoke?**

***5 STARS***

Honestly, I could NOT live without it. Spoke saves me 15hrs+ a week of Admin time and has cut my research/usability testing data collection/analysis effort by 30%.

We use Spoke to record all our client meetings, research (from interviews to usability testing, and even 'how-to' videos for new team members.

The real-time transcription - available (to download/share) within minutes after you close your meeting, the ability to Search within the transcript(s) and across Spoke for words/phrases, and quick cut highlight videos are fantastic and are some of my favorite features!

**What do you dislike about Spoke?**

Looking forward to potential upgrades! Spoke.app is a growing company, and they do launch releases a few times a month, so it is not that I 'dislike' something... more like, I am really looking forward to...

1. The ability to upload mp4s and mp3s directly (instead of having to join a zoom meeting)
2. Ability to save a bunch of highlights from different videos and merge into one video
3. Ability to 'move' files from my Default workspace/folder vs 'copy' them to the folder
4. Sentiment analysis and frequency counts of tags (ie. words/phases) would be great

**What problems is Spoke solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saves time and effort on:
- Creating/circulating client contact reports after meetings
- Documenting user feedback / interviews with customers
- Analysis of research findings
- Sharing How-To videos for new team members

  ### 3. I've recommended Spoke since last year

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Antréa F. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Spoke?**

I use Spoke regularly and have to say, I am thoroughly impressed. The app's interface is intuitive and user-friendly, making it easy to set up and automate conversations with my customers.

But what really stood out to me was the exceptional customer service I received from the Spoke team. I ran into a bit of a jam with one of my automated conversations and was unsure how to fix it. I reached out to their customer support team and was pleasantly surprised to receive a response from none other than the CEO himself. He personally took the time to guide me through the issue and ensure that everything was resolved to my satisfaction.

This level of personalized attention and dedication to customer service is truly impressive and sets Spoke app apart from other chatbot platforms I've used in the past. I highly recommend Spoke to any business looking to streamline their customer service operations while still maintaining a human touch.

**What do you dislike about Spoke?**

I loved the feature to be able to upload conversations. This has gone away and is a bit of a bummer but I understand it might have been misused or maybe not used often enough. I trust the direction the company is going though.

**What problems is Spoke solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Spoke is solving the problem of time-consuming operations by capturing the key insights and summarizing them without me needing to spend time doing it manually. That's just one, but there are tons others. I like the new feature to download video clips.

  ### 4. A Game-Changer for Meetings: My Love for Spoke.app

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Radhakrishnan K. | Founder, Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Spoke?**

I’m absolutely thrilled to share my experience with Spoke.app, a personal AI meeting assistant that has completely transformed the way I collaborate and manage my meetings. After using this product for some time now, I wholeheartedly give it a 10/10 rating and highly recommend it to everyone looking to improve their meeting efficiency and productivity.

I first discovered Spoke.app through Appsumo, and it has since proven to be a game-changer for me. From recording meetings and automatically transcribing them to providing instant AI summaries and video reels, this app has taken the hassle out of post-meeting tasks. Gone are the days of spending countless hours going through recordings and manually combing through the conversations.

In addition to its powerful features, Spoke.app also excels in processing data and preparing meeting notes. This has allowed me to focus more on the content of the meetings and has significantly improved my ability to recall crucial information from past discussions.

One thing that sets Spoke.app apart from other similar products is the founder’s commitment to customer satisfaction. When I shared my feedback about the app during its early days, the founder personally hopped on a call with me to discuss my experience and suggestions. This level of customer care is rare and speaks volumes about the dedication and passion behind this incredible product.

In conclusion, Spoke.app is an indispensable tool for those who want to make the most out of their meetings and collaborations. Its impressive range of features, combined with a team that genuinely cares about customer success, makes it a must-have app for any professional. Don’t hesitate to give it a try – you won’t be disappointed!

**What do you dislike about Spoke?**

I feel the meeting assistant that pops up during the meeting is distracting, especially when I share screen on the meetings which is often. There is no "hide" option on the popup - I would love it the "hide" option is enabled.

**What problems is Spoke solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easily record the meetings, prepare meeting notes, recording storage, AI summaries and the latest GPT4 integration! I am so excited about that. It also helps me stay organized on the agenda.

  ### 5. My personal note taker at online meetings

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Swen G. | P, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2023

**What do you like best about Spoke?**

Since I started using Spoke.app for my online meetings last year, it's been a complete game-changer. I'm able to focus better on the meeting and the conversations, knowing that Spoke is recording everything and will generate a detailed protocol for me. This has been a life-saver in terms of keeping me organized and allowing me to review important details after the meeting

**What do you dislike about Spoke?**

It is quite easy to use on a Windows PC or Mac. What I am missing is an app for iPad OS, Android or a Browser based web-app, because I often participate in a meeting via mobile devices. So I always have to add an entry with a link in my Google calendar with at least 15 minutes notice. A spontaneous recording is not possible!

In addition, I would like to be able to note down key points and important results myself via mobile devices. This is not possible unless a PC or Mac is used.

Furthermore, I would like to be able to adjust the agenda in the spoke app during the meeting. The templates are too inflexible for my needs.

Also, unfortunately, recently the automatic summaries were not good: mostly the wrong language and important information was not included.

**What problems is Spoke solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Recording and documenting meetings: Spoke is helping me to record and generate a protocol for my meetings, so I don't have to worry about taking notes or missing important details.

  ### 6. My Entire Career Is Built On This Software

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael M. | CEO, Consulting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Spoke?**

Being able to record all of my meetings and then search through any of them by inputting a keyword is amazing.

I actually have short term memory loss from mold toxicity and this software has relieved so much stress by allowing me to get access to precise moments in meetings.

**What do you dislike about Spoke?**

Hmmmm. I would probably say that the branding/logo isn't my favorite. I'm not a huge purple guy.

I was happy when they rolled out the ability to change the branding of the notetaker in meetings. I think my logo looks much better :)

**What problems is Spoke solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I got very sick with CIRS (which is chronic inflammatory response syndrome from extreme mold exposure). I started using Spoke so I could remember the details of all the projects I'm involved in.

It has been amazing. At first it was just searching the videos to rewatch clips, but now I use it for so much more! The AI summaries are great! I can share video clips with my clients. it has made me serious extra money by stopping "scope creep" dead in its tracks.

Showing clients the exact conversational moment with an easy to share link it so helpful!

  ### 7. Revolutionising My Podcast Interviews and Meetings

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stu D. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2023

**What do you like best about Spoke?**

It's intuitive, particularly with meeting summaries
Fast and saves time taking minutes
You get the video and the transcript
Can be repurposed in various formats
Minutes and notes are available straight away
I can use the transcript of the podcast interviews for the basis of blogs, books and posts

**What do you dislike about Spoke?**

Sometimes the note tacker takes time to pop up in the meeting. I find myself going in through the calendar - but then the pad or notetaker hasn't shown up at the very start, then I treat the meeting as bespoke and copy-paste the link to get the notetaker. And then sometimes end up with two notetakers ion the sam meeting when the calendar notetaker turns up.

**What problems is Spoke solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Podcast interview transcripts, meeting notes, and preparation of marketing material. I can repurpose the transcript, the audio, to make audiograms and also the video clips.

  ### 8. Never miss the important things of a meeting again

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manuel G. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Spoke?**

Easy to use AI notetaking assistant for internal and external meetings. The AI automatically summarizes everything you need to know about your session. Furthermore, you can record highlights and take notes easily during a meeting which gets its summary afterward.
You can focus fully on the other participants instead of having to take notes by yourself to not forget anything.

**What do you dislike about Spoke?**

Currently, it doesn't support multiple calendars yet. Our main calendar is not where most of our meetings are in.
Once this is coming, it will be insanely powerful!

**What problems is Spoke solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Transcribing and notetaking meetings and picking out the key points and relevant information for the team and other stakeholders in the processes. It helped us a lot by not having to record our meetings, then transcribe them afterward and read through the transcripts again to find relevant information. The AI does it now automatically.

  ### 9. Solid meeting recording solution with tools to make it easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew N. | Freelance Customer Data Platform (CDP) and Tag Management Expert, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2023

**What do you like best about Spoke?**

The ease of use. Spoke in general is nothing more than a solution to recording and transcribe your meering, however, their tools, such as the Chrome extension that integrates seemlessly with Zoom and Google Meet and allows you to highlight specific moment with meeting templates is sublime. Also, the creation of meeting summaries, integration with your calendar to auto-invite the recorder and other nifty features make it simple to use and gain value from.

**What do you dislike about Spoke?**

Spoke might not have the flashiest of designs, but where it lacks there it makes up in functionality and nevermind the pricing, it's good. I guess the only thing I would like to improve is the ability to customize the recorder e.g. brand it for my company.

**What problems is Spoke solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem that Spoke solves for me is not necessarily the transcribing of meetings, but the summaries that it makes. The summaries highlight the important topics of the meeting. Short of creating task lists for every person in the meeting it does a great job in helping focus on critical discussed topics and the people involved with each of them.

  ### 10. Just the experience please 👍🏼

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joey R. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 05, 2022

**What do you like best about Spoke?**

Just when I thought I was flying I'm now soaring. It's like I have my own personal team taking care of all the meeting details leaving me to put ALL my attention on the meeting itself and be more present through my listening. Spoke is awesome!!

**What do you dislike about Spoke?**

I'm not able to rearrange the timeline in the editor but...their support team says they're working on it.

**What problems is Spoke solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I record zoom calls with my clients and post them as demos and or testimonials. Spoke creates a transcript of the conversation, allows me to highlight the content I want to use and then automatically edits the video to play only the highlighted content; all in a matter of minutes instead of the hours it used to take. All of this just got a whole lot easier with the new update.

  ### 11. Solid Fathom Alternative

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cassandra E. | C, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Spoke?**

I like that you can use it on multiple platforms, and I would have given it a nine if it still recorded desktop. I liked not having to be on a call to use it to record the screen to send updates to clients. Can you bring that back?

**What do you dislike about Spoke?**

Sometimes it breaks and doesn't record and I have never been able to get a back up of it thought help desk has tried to help. I also don't like that they took away the record screen option vs video.

**What problems is Spoke solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It keeps track of phone calls so that I can look back at the notes and fill in blanks. I am more present during phone calls as I know I have this to look back on.

  ### 12. Spoke is the best meeting companion!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarang G. | Managing Director, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2023

**What do you like best about Spoke?**

Spoke is a super easy and must have tool, the desktop app makes it a universal meeting companion- it natively connects to Zoom and Google Meet, automatically syncs to Google/ Outlook calendar and has a feature of auto-joining the meeting for taking notes- it's simply brilliant. There're so many things to like about Spoke:

- Super easy recordings
- Video Summaries
- AI Meeting Summary
- Connects to Zoom and Google Meet

**What do you dislike about Spoke?**

The UI can definitely be improved, the inconsistencies in design, definitely bug me. One feature that is missing is the auto-removal of filler words, that is a must-have feature.

**What problems is Spoke solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Transcribing meetings is foremost problem it helps me with, being platform/ software agnostic I don't have to worry about being locked in to just one meeting tool.

  ### 13. Spoke is the best Zoom Recorder and transcriber I've used!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason R. | Creative Director & Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Spoke?**

I love the convenience and simplicity of spoke! I've been using it for over a year, and it's helped me track and transcribe all of my meetings! All of my clients are asking me about my recorder and they've started using it too!

**What do you dislike about Spoke?**

There were some issues with my account email and it was a little difficult to make some adjustments there with the google suite connection. However, the founder was super responsive and he was able to take care of my issue!

**What problems is Spoke solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me record my meetings and provides an easily shareable link I can give to my team. It's a crucial piece of my workflow as I'm constantly going from meeting to meeting and need to share details with my team.

  ### 14. Effortlessly Record and Generate Meeting Minutes with Spoke.app and ChatGPT

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jean D. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Spoke?**

As someone who attends a lot of meetings, I am always looking for ways to streamline the process and make the most out of my time. That's why I was excited to try out Spoke.app, a meeting recording and minutes generator tool that utilizes ChatGPT to produce accurate and comprehensive meeting notes.

What I like best about Spoke.app is its ease of use. Once I connected the tool to my calendar, it automatically recorded and transcribed all of my meetings. I was able to easily review the recordings and notes after the fact to ensure I didn't miss any important information.

But what really sets Spoke.app apart from other meeting tools is the integration of ChatGPT. With this AI-powered language model, Spoke.app is able to generate meeting minutes that are not only accurate but also concise and easy to read. This feature has saved me so much time that I would have otherwise spent manually typing up notes or struggling to remember key points from the meeting.

**What do you dislike about Spoke?**

In terms of dislikes, I honestly can't think of anything significant. There may be some small hiccups in the transcription or minutes generation process, but the Spoke.app team is always quick to address any issues and improve the tool's functionality.

Overall, I highly recommend Spoke.app to anyone looking to make their meeting process more efficient and productive. With its seamless integration and AI-powered capabilities, Spoke.app has become an essential tool in my workday.

**What problems is Spoke solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Spoke.app is solving several problems that I've experienced in the past. First and foremost, it's addressing the issue of time. With Spoke.app, I no longer have to spend valuable time taking notes during meetings or typing up minutes afterward. This has allowed me to be more present in meetings, which in turn has made me a more active and engaged participant.

Spoke.app is also solving the problem of accuracy. When taking notes by hand or typing on a laptop, there's always the risk of missing important information or making errors in transcription. With Spoke.app, I can be confident that the recordings and generated notes are accurate, which is critical when it comes to recalling key decisions or action items from meetings.

Finally, Spoke.app is solving the problem of organization. With all of my meeting recordings and notes stored in one place, I no longer have to worry about digging through my email or various note-taking apps to find what I'm looking for. This has saved me a lot of time and stress, and has allowed me to stay on top of my work more effectively.

Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with Spoke.app and the benefits it's brought to my work life.

  ### 15. Never miss a thing!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Spoke?**

I love that Spoke integrates with my calendar and not only automatically joins meetings, but I can also add it to any other meetings I have. Being able to easily reference what is said later means that I never have to miss any nuance of what the client is saying and for some services I make the recording available to clients as an added bonus so that they can revisit any insights they need as well.

**What do you dislike about Spoke?**

The only thing I dislike about Spoke is that they've removed some features since I started using it, such as the ability to screen record and to upload recordings for transcription. I've had to change my workflow to adjust but I understand that this is to focus on their core service.

**What problems is Spoke solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In my work, I typically take notes during client meetings, but if I miss something, I know Spoke will catch it for me in a way that is easily searchable. I often have to reference details of what is being said in the meeting and Spoke allows me to catch all of that.

  ### 16. The project manager's best friend

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Spoke?**

As a project manager, I recently started using Spoke for my video meetings and it has quickly become a must-have tool for me. The AI-powered features, hands-free note-taking, and real-time agenda tracking have made my meetings more productive and efficient than ever before.

The feature I love the most is the hands-free note-taking. I no longer have to worry about scribbling notes as the meeting goes on. Spoke takes care of it for me and provides me with time-stamped notes that are synced with the video recording and transcription. This has saved me a lot of time and hassle and allowed me to focus on the conversation at hand.

Another great feature is the real-time agenda tracking. I can easily keep track of which agenda items have been discussed and which ones are still pending. This has helped me to keep my meetings on track and ensure that all the important topics are covered within the allotted time frame.

I also appreciate the ability to create meeting templates for recurring meetings. It saves me a lot of time in preparing for these meetings and ensures that everyone comes prepared with a clear set of topics, objectives, and time frames. The ability to create instant meeting reports based on the meeting templates and agendas by tagging agenda items is a real game-changer.

Finally, the ability to share reports directly within an email, Slack, or other platforms or set Spoke to auto-sync to Slack, Microsoft Teams, Notion or Google Drive is incredibly convenient. It saves me time and makes it easy to collaborate with my team.

Overall, Spoke has helped me to lead better, output-oriented meetings and conversations, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve their video meetings.

**What do you dislike about Spoke?**

There is nothing that I dislike about Soke specifically, however, I can see that some potential users might find Spoke to have a steep learning curve. The AI-powered features may take some time to get used to, and not everyone may feel comfortable relying on a machine for hands-free note-taking and real-time agenda tracking.

**What problems is Spoke solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Spoke is solving several problems that project managers often face when conducting video meetings. Firstly, it helps to create a structured approach to meetings by providing the ability to create meeting templates for recurring meetings. This means that project managers can save time and ensure that everyone is on the same page in terms of the topics, objectives, and time frames to be discussed. This structured approach helps to improve meeting outcomes and ensure that the team stays focused on achieving their goals.

Secondly, Spoke provides real-time agenda tracking, which ensures that all the important topics are discussed, and the meeting stays on track. This feature helps project managers to monitor the progress of the meeting and ensure that everyone stays focused on the agenda. It also allows project managers to manage meeting time effectively and avoid wasting time on irrelevant topics.

Thirdly, Spoke offers hands-free note-taking and AI-generated minutes and video highlights. This feature helps project managers to save time and stay focused on the meeting discussion, without worrying about taking detailed notes. The notes generated by Spoke are also time-stamped and synchronized with the video recording and transcription, which provides an accurate record of what was discussed during the meeting. This makes it easier for project managers to review and follow up on the meeting's action items.

Overall, Spoke provides several benefits for project managers, such as saving time, improving meeting outcomes, maintaining a structured approach to meetings, and providing an accurate record of what was discussed. By solving these problems, Spoke helps project managers to improve their productivity, collaborate more effectively with their team, and achieve their project objectives efficiently.

The editor would benefit from a few enhancements. For example, when editing, I routinely highlighted or selected an incorrect word that I would delete once I had finished typing the correction."
The primary downside is that the entire process of summarizing a video, selecting its highlights or the parts relevant to you, is manual.
"The price is a little high, especially without discounts for students or the like."

The app's ability to identify and assign action items ensures that important tasks are not forgotten, leading to increased productivity and efficiency. For me, Spoke.app has been invaluable in saving time, improving collaboration within my team, and enabling me to focus on more strategic tasks rather than getting bogged down in administrative work.

  ### 19. In a world of distractions spoke never fails to pay attention

**Reviewed by:** Guy G. | Marketing Automation and Operations Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2023

**What do you like best about Spoke?**

Spoke's automatic calendar integration means that I don't need to think about having my brain's trust by my side. The easy to use interface means i never miss a beat, and the AI generated summaries really help gut check some of the outcomes of meetings

**What do you dislike about Spoke?**

The spoke recorder showing up to meetings before me has occasionally led to other people on calls either beginning conersations without me, or booting my spoke user prematurely.

**What problems is Spoke solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a consultant I am in meetings all day long. Often I'm both presenting and getting new requests from clients and as a result I'm not always focused on collecting insights or action items. Spoke has compeltely changed this game.

  ### 20. This has become one of my top 10 essential meeting tools!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chaplain Tim "TIG" H. | Founder | Lead Chaplain, Non-Profit Organization Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 29, 2023

**What do you like best about Spoke?**

It just works.
If you need additional customization, for specific meeting types, it's there for you to dive into, but right out of the box, it works.
Customers and prospects have commented on how much they appreciate receiving an overview of the meeting we just had.

**What do you dislike about Spoke?**

There's nothing I'm looking for that it doesn't do.
Staff is quick to help, they're effective, and constantly improving the tool in ways I didn't expect, but end up loving.

**What problems is Spoke solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Overview of meeting and ability to quickly review and share.
The overview has really helped me pull more out of meetings and I'm discovering opportunities that I may have missed on first glance, but see on my review.

  ### 21. Spoke is a timesaving productivity boosting tool every person needs!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ken C. | Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 29, 2023

**What do you like best about Spoke?**

Spoke crushes it when it comes to generating meaningful takeaways for easily sharable meetings. My use case is to summarize customer interviews and provide my engineers with the most important takeaways. There is nothing like hearing input direct from the customer if you are building product or needing other input.

**What do you dislike about Spoke?**

At times the transcriptions are not perfect and require editing. The editing may include having to play the video segment to get the exact wording into the transcription. Hopefully, the new version will resolve this issue.

**What problems is Spoke solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Summarizing content in a meaningful manner from meetings for easy dissemination.

  ### 22. Cutting Edge Content

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rye T. | Story Architect and Podcast Launch Strategist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Spoke?**

Spoke has been such a helpful tool during meetings. It also helps that the summaries are spectacular! I'm so thankful I've invested in a product with many great people who want to make a difference.

**What do you dislike about Spoke?**

There were a few features that were eliminated in the last version. It has simplified the process and made it more powerful, but I do miss the upload option!

**What problems is Spoke solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Spoke gives me several positive benefits, but the outlines from the meetings and full transcripts with name of the people on the call is very helpful.

  ### 23. A great app when it launched...now destined for the stars!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jack P. | CEO, Managing Partner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Spoke?**

Retaining essential meeting ideas has added to our single focus and creativity. The new GPT-4 version should skyrocket Spoke's value! Spoke will be a step change ahead.

**What do you dislike about Spoke?**

One older team member is tech-challenged, but that's not limited to Spoke. That said, any time an application like Spoke can make user adoption and onboarding easier, is a plus.

**What problems is Spoke solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Spoke doesn't just transcribe video; it captures assets I can chunk down for various uses. My favorite use is recording highly focused learning bites or answering questions from my members.

  ### 24. No longer distracted by taking notes

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Spoke?**

Since starting using Spoke to capture, record, and transcribe my meetings, I've moved away from furiously scribbling notes and later trying to remember the context for my notes from meetings. Spoke gives me the ability to rewatch, review, and remember exactly what was said, why it was said, and provides the context for any given action to be completed.

**What do you dislike about Spoke?**

I used to be able to upload meeting recordings to Spoke, but that feature has been removed and I'm a bit disappointed I no longer have this functionality. Also, meeting summary notes aren't always accurate.

**What problems is Spoke solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Spoke allows me to remain focused on the meetings I'm attending and allows me to tag context around given meeting components without having to stop and write, which increases my efficiency.

  ### 25. The standby app for recording Zoom meetings

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thomas B. | Principal Hydrogeologist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Spoke?**

Spoke has saved my bacon when I forgot to record a meeting. Spoke's recording and transcript save the day. I'm really looking forward to Spoke GPT-4 for even more automation!

**What do you dislike about Spoke?**

Processing videos can be a bit tedious, so I am really looking forward to the GPT-4 integration to speed up and smooth out that process. Time is valuable!

**What problems is Spoke solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Recording and transcribing videos so I can generate clips for repurposing on social media. Time is valuable, so tools like Spoke that help me 10x my content are highly valued.

  ### 26. Spoke is great I use it multiple times a day as a professional recruiter!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hernan R. | International Recruiter & Trainer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Spoke?**

Spoke is easy to use, it is reliable, and the support is fantastic. Lazare, the Spoke main boss, is always ready to help from France! Everyone should use spoke!

**What do you dislike about Spoke?**

There is not much I dislike about speaking; no app is perfect.
I would love it if there were a function to hide public access from unlighted parts of the video to save editing time.

**What problems is Spoke solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saves me time both on taking notes and rendering video; I also do not use Zoom cloud recording as much since I use spoke.

  ### 27. For our product meeting, it was life-changing.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yohan T. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Spoke?**

It is very user-friendly and quite simple to set up. We mostly use Google Meet in our workplace, and Spoke integrates seamlessly with it.
The documentation is clear and very comprehensive with images and gifs. I love It!

**What do you dislike about Spoke?**

We previously had a problem with the relevance of the summary, but they worked on it and now it's fixed, so there is nothing about the feature we are using that I don't like at the moment.

**What problems is Spoke solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Every day, our company holds stand-up meetings using Google Meet. We also use spoke in our meetings to summarize what was said so that we may maintain a record of everyone's contributions in a particular Slack channel.
On average, it saves me an hour per day.

  ### 28. An excellent value - with some teething issues

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Craig M. | Owner / Consulting Hypnotist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 29, 2023

**What do you like best about Spoke?**

I love that the company is always upgrading its product. I'm very excited about the new AI additions/upgrades. Spoke is always getting better. A solid program.

**What do you dislike about Spoke?**

Some bugginess at certain points. But it tends to get corrected as updates come along. Losing the screen record feature was a bummer too. But new features have been added instead.

**What problems is Spoke solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's enabling me to transcribe meetings and I've also used it to transcribe pre-recorded audio. And to make clips from meetings.

  ### 29. Very helpful application

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dan L. | Anticipator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Spoke?**

Spoke correctly transcribes speech and is very good at naming the various participants in a meeting. It works great!

**What do you dislike about Spoke?**

I am not aware of any downsides. One thing to be wonderful to have back - a feature that they had for months but has since been taken off the platform - the capability to upload prerecorded audio or video files and get back a transcript.

**What problems is Spoke solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides very accurate transcripts very quickly.

  ### 30. The easiest way to annotate and note meetings

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abu Y. | NLP Master Trainer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Spoke?**

Spoke is very easy to set up.I'm not a techie and even i did it seamlessly. It's simple, quick and accurate so there is not much ost editing to do which is a relief.

**What do you dislike about Spoke?**

The training could be a little clearer, especially the initial set up. But otherwise, and apart from usual app updates, there is not much to dislike about this excellent app.

**What problems is Spoke solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Note writing, accurate recall of specific discussions, action points, bookmarking

  ### 31. Handy tool for summarizing my meetings

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bakari C. | Web Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Spoke?**

I purchased Spoke about a year ago, and the developers have consistently kept updating and improving it. It's great that they are integrating Chat GPT4 for better summary results.

**What do you dislike about Spoke?**

Wish that I could pause a Spoke recording during a meeting. Sometimes meeting participants share personal experiences that shouldn't be recorded.

**What problems is Spoke solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Summarizing what people said at the meeting is the best solution. Meeting transcriptions are useful, but manually summarizing takes too much time.

  ### 32. Smooth, reliable and improves the speed of my workflow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Management Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Spoke?**

Fast, easy to use. Excellent summaries. As an early adopter, I love how far Spoke has already developed.

**What do you dislike about Spoke?**

Return the ability to upload a zoom meeting to Spoke if I missed adding the recorder to the meeting or did not have it on my calendar as I now have to use Grain for this function.

Would like to be able to custom name / white-label the recorder app. I currently do this with Grain and it's a non-visual participant.

**What problems is Spoke solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Faster workflow with meeting notes and tasks directed to my team before I even finished the meeting.

Never have to watch back the whole meeting. Simply review the highlights.

  ### 33. WOW

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bruce B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Spoke?**

Video can be tedious to review.
(1) Having a PERFECTLY transcribed version allows for much greater functionality including searchability, enhanced commenting, and greater actionability.
(2) Placing the transcription as captions allows for much greater comprehension for subsequent viewers; a major enhancement to the original video.

**What do you dislike about Spoke?**

really...nothing. It works and it is fast.

**What problems is Spoke solving and how is that benefiting you?**

(1) Comment and actionability from teleconference meetings
(2) Enhanced training videos utilizing captions.

  ### 34. Founder added the features back and things are working like they should.

**Reviewed by:** Alberto O. | IT Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2022

**What do you like best about Spoke?**

The ability to upload a video and get the transcriptions.

**What do you dislike about Spoke?**

Still waiting for the translation piece that was mentioned early on in the deal.

**What problems is Spoke solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Able to get written text from a video

  ### 35. Time saver, Game changer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Spoke?**

Having the ability to instantly review specific words shared by prospects and easily share them with members of our product team. Meaning we can have very strong customer insight in a fraction of the time.

**What do you dislike about Spoke?**

Sometimes the desktop app takes a little too long to load but it's not a huge issue and probably increased by my impatience. The team have done a great job to keep the tech moving and updated.

**What problems is Spoke solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to keep a clear and consistent record of customer thoughts and feedback. Also keeping a clear and consistent catalog of requests from prospects that can be used in product development.

  ### 36. Easily transcribe my meetings and helps me sort through it

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Spoke?**

How you can easily edit the transcriptions while watching the video and listening to the audio. And also the bot I can add to my Google meetings. It makes life so much easier.

**What do you dislike about Spoke?**

It does it's job perfectly fine. I'd like to be able to add it to a video meeting without needing to add it to the participants, like it happens with Google meetings.

**What problems is Spoke solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Meeting reports and notes just became so much easier. It takes long hours off from all the sorting through and selecting the important bits. Those are hours I can use in something else useful.

  ### 37. It has been the best experience from set up to recording & the ease of use to create clips.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danny 🐺 G. | Business Manager and Marketing Specialist , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 29, 2023

**What do you like best about Spoke?**

The ability to create snippets of content and compile them, share them and organize them.

**What do you dislike about Spoke?**

The inability to connect multiple calendars, I use it for multiple businesses and I can only connect one calendar for auto-recording.

**What problems is Spoke solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of recording meetings I normally would forget to record and gives me something to look back on for notes.

  ### 38. Pain Free!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael B. | Founder/CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Spoke?**

Spoke made it easy to take notes and organize them in real time. It's like having an assistant during the meeting. I can focus on the discussion, and quickly organize and follow up on action items and decisions.

**What do you dislike about Spoke?**

I like the opportunity to utilize different meeting templates. However, switching between meeting templates is a little cumbersome.

**What problems is Spoke solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I recently started a new position where I am regularly in meetings with multiple people. Before getting the opportunity to try out Spoke, I'd need to take a lot of notes and organize them afterward.

  ### 39. Best AI note taking app on the market

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 29, 2023

Simply brilliant. The Google meet extension works perfectly, the transcription is great in English and French, including with technical terms. The app with the videos and categories is brilliant. This is a must have and a huge time saver.

**What do you dislike about Spoke?**

The UI could be made slightly more polished.

**What problems is Spoke solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Better meeting notes with search and summarization capabilities

  ### 40. Record, transcribe and share meetings

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Grant M. | Financial Adviser and Money Coach, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 07, 2022

**What do you like best about Spoke?**

I've got Spoke integrated with my Google Calendar, so it automatically detects if there's a link in any of the events for either Zoom, Teams or Meet. I use Meet for my client meetings, so it automatically joins and records + transcribes the full thing. When I'm done, I can share the link for my client to watch the video again. I can even highlight parts of the transcript and just send a link to watch those highlights. This is perfect for getting clients to go back and watch just a specific part of the meeting without trying to find it. I also have it join webinars for me (if it's through one of the three video tools) so I don't need to watch it live with all of the fluff - I can go back and watch it later at 1.25 x, and read through the transcript to find the most meaningful parts; I condensed a 1.5 hour webinar to 30mins, which saved me a ton of time!

**What do you dislike about Spoke?**

The video quality isn't great, so don't use it if you want to record a meeting to later publish with a high quality image. It's nice that you can burn in the captions, but I wouldn't rely on it if you're wanting to publish anything at high quality. The Google Calendar integration also sometimes stops working properly, so I need to re-sync it once a month or so. It's annoying, but it is what it is.

**What problems is Spoke solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Spoke to record all of my client meetings so I don't need to be bogged down writing copious file notes - I can just go back and watch the recording / read through the transcript. I also use it to record webinars held on one of the big 3 video platforms (Zoom, Teams and Meet). I send clients the recordings so they can go back and watch what was discussed rather than having to contact me for the info. Spoke lets me highlight and categorise sections of the meetings to make it easier for them to find what they're looking for as well.

The automatic meeting summaries. They do a great job and simplify my life! Also, the ability to edit the highlights and create clips is helpful as well. It is all upside!

I haven't found a downside. I do explain the app to others in the meeting. Most of the time they are excited to learn about it! It is rarely a concern, but they like knowing it is happening.

**What problems is Spoke solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Taking notes and summarizing them during a meeting.

It isn't quite as automated as I'd like but it's still head and shoulders above other products I've tried.

**What problems is Spoke solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool was good but they have removed 2 important features which were included when we purchased this tool from APPSUMO.

**What do you dislike about Spoke?**

We needed 2 major options:

1. Upload audio file and transcribe

2. Auto detect system recordings and translate..

This tool had both options and we have purchased Tier 3 lifetime deal with unlimited transcription options.

Now they have removed both system and they are not willing to issue a refund. This is so unprofessional service. They are not providing the service they are committed to doing.
