What do you like best about Spendesk?

At the beginning they were super helpful: During the setup phase I had a contact who was highly engaged and helped to get the onboarding down in a super short amount of time for multiple, global entities.

The users like the UI and the tool works rather well on a day to day business for our colleagues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Spendesk?

Our key account manager was not responsive, not helpful and didn´t solve ANY of our urgent issues:

They told us to use the NetSuite native integration which was nothing but horrible. Please do not make the mistake to use it. I took us several month to role back to our old manual way and clean up the mess that the integration created. When our CFO escalted this to Spendesk and made it clear that this is a very urgent matter, it took them over a week to even response. They were not able to provide a solution. We are terrible frustrated as a finance crew by the way we are not supported and how badly the integration is that is provided as "native" integration. The documentation and guidance in the integration process was pretty poor as well.

If you are using NetSuite: Please do not use this product.

The product is just not scalable for us as a company because the integration is just not working. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Spendesk?

While using Spendesk the platform was relatively easy to use and it solved our need Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Spendesk?

When we closed our account, they didn't return the nearly £3,000 we had in our account. They stopped responding to us and sent us £100. They have stolen our money. Do not put money into Spendesk. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Spendesk?

I cannot fault Spendesk - it's easily the best expenses tool I've used. So user friednly, real B2C UX/UI which makes staying up to date on expenses realy easy Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Spendesk?

What do you like best about Spendesk?

I like that it simplifies the completion of expense report and makes it easier to schedule business travel in one place. Easy to apload receipts and and very convenient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the ability to upload receipts directly from mobile device. Payment are centralized and its very easy to use and deploy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Spendesk?

I love how easy it is to pay for things with Spendesk!

Single purchases - Straight forward and simple!

Subscriptions - All easily managed from one dashboard and you can attach receipts to emails or forward to a special address

Even claiming ad-hoc expenses is super convenient via the app and a photo - It takes care of filling in most details and you can submit the claim on the spot!

As a systems admin I also appreciate the ease at which we could integrate it with our SSO provider, making logins easy and secure for all our users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Spendesk?

If I had to pick one it'd probably be that all subscriptions are only based on monthly pricing - which can make annual subscriptions appear expensive as you need to put year pricing in for a month to create a valid request and mildly panic your approver :D Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Spendesk?

It is so user-friendly. Especially when I upload a receipt, or invoice. Now we use it also to manage expenses, invoices, accounting... Everything is so easy to track Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Spendesk?

Maybe the VTA part can be tricky. I uploaded a few invoices from the same provider (Edenred) and I don’t know why, but only half of the invoice is taking into account. It's as if the platform can only read half of the page, and it's always with this provider. There is something problematic with the VTA part Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Spendesk?

Spendesk eliminated a very manual process of submitting expenses and invoices with docs and emails. Their platform is intuitive and interactive and actually kind of fun to use too. I can search for submitted expenses and request virtual credit cards for online payments. The process is transparent and secure too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Spendesk?

I've found that the cost centers that have been set up don't correspond with how I actually track my team's budget but that's hopefully something we can modify for the next fiscal year. Sometimes the virtual credit cards don't work for certain suppliers-it's not really a big nuisance though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
