After the news about Mandrill & MailChimp integration, we were looking for another mailing service that will meet our needs and found SparkPost. These guys definitely know what they are doing.
We integrated it with OWOX BI service and now I use it for all my email marketing needs.
What I can say:
- It is packed with good real-time analytics and intuitive interface;
- Due to high daily mail limits, so there's no problem in testing templates and checking campaigns;
- Performance and delivery rates are also great;
- The amount of data it provides over hooks is overwhelming;
- It is well documented, and the solutions to issues are quite easy to implement.
By far I didn't have any critical issues with it and failed none of my campaigns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Before integrating the webhooks, Message Event reports were a mess due to 1000 results limit.
If you lost the API key, just live with it, you will never see it again =) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Nothing, the Sparkpost and MessageBird have the worse service I have ever seen Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sparkpost & MessageBird are irresponsibles with their account suspension, they don't care about the impact they can produce to the customers, and they don't care about the service. They cut our service because they didn't answer to more than 25 emails and 15 tickets we opened to inform that we need the payment information which they changed when moved from Sparkpost to MessageBird. They responded 6 months latter with wrong information delaying more and more the payment, but then they cut the service. It is the worse service I have ever received Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Best about this product is -
- Easy to handle
- Better deliverability
- Track opens, clicks, unsubscribe, bounce, etc
- Have template builder
- Get help of customer sucess in-case face any issues such as email deliverability, spam issues etc Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is not such any instance where we can say that product is not useful.
We have implemented the same in our marketing automation flow through webengage and the jorneys works well. We would need more support in future whenever we increase our automation journey flow! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use Sparkpost to manage my customers' email domains through our platform, so I have a pretty narrow use case, but it works perfectly for that use case - no complaints! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Ran a list of about 26,000 emails through their system, and about 300 came back as not mailable. Did a blast with the remaining, but over 400 were non-deliverable, and 65 made SPAM complaints. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
SP is very intuitive. I am not a techy by any stretch of the imagination but am by default the "go to" in our office for management of emails. SP integrates into our CRM flawlessly, and we have only on a few occasions had to log into the master account to troubleshoot issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My only complaint is we don't have spell check within our email. Because we use our email integrated within our CRM I am not sure if this is a CRM issue or Sparkpost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
