SourceWhale Pros and Cons

Once I build a comprehensive campaign in SourceWhale (which doesn't take very long), I can tackle my TA sourcing / tasks with ease. Additionally, SourceWhale is able to pull contact information for almost all of the individuals I wish to contact. For me, SourceWhale has been a valuable and efficient resource. It's definitely worth checking out.

Finally, the customer service we've experienced has been phenominal. Jaslene did a great job walking us through each step and followed up consistently. SourceWhale is a tool our whole team uses daily. It has significantly increased our team productivity and outreach organization with its multiple touchpoint campaigns. The integration with Thrive TRM has saved valuable time each day sourcing both candidates into pipelines and companies into our database, also allowing you to tag skills to candidates all on the easy-to-use Chrome extension. It is an automated super tool for a recruiter or partner and a great data management solution for a researcher like myself. The main dashboard is great at tracking internal sourcing activity and providing a snapshot of any campaign or project you wish to see. I have no complaints about the SourceWHalke app itself. The downsides to SourceWhale I have noticed have to do with the integration into our ATS, Thrive TRM, and the data entry accuracy. A few things I have noticed include limited job experiences and InMail message errors when sourcing on LinkedIn Recruiter, missing data when sourcing multiple candidates at once, and duplicate company creation. SourceWhale is untuitive and easy to use. The training was brilliant! Our Customer Success Manager is Hannah Quinn and she's been amazing. We've had weekly sessions with her and she's always patient, kind and deals with all of our questions with good humour and understanding. She's explained everything to us in an accessible way and has kept our training sessions going until we all felt that we could fly solo without her.

We all love the 'scoring card' section when you're building steps which help you to write eye catching content without spam and scores how successful your BD emails are. Genius!

My favourite bit about SW is the time it saves with admin and data input.

Sourcewhale has been an incredible resource for our BD outreach and prospecting. Our team loves the customization options, including the gifs, which helps our campaigns stand out amongst the other outreach emails people may be receiving. The Live Feed has been a game changer for our BD calling blocks, and we've even set up a slack channel to post a daily call list based on this feed. Sourcewhale has improved and added additional features just within the year we've been using them, and continue to roll out beneficial features. The tech team is always open to feedback on potential new features or websites to run the extension over. The onboarding and integration process for Sourcewhale is thorough, supportive, and collaborative. We appreciate Jaslene and the whole Sourcewhale team for their CONSTANT support! The ONLY downside we have with using Sourcewhale is the inability to add a merge tag to the links of our Vidyard videos that we use within our campaigns. This merge tag allows us to grab valuable insights into who is viewing our videos, including analytics that aren't provided by Sourcewhale. Additionally, I've encountered some inconsistencies with the "don't send before" button, where changes made don't always reflect accurately. This can lead to scheduling issues and requires extra attention to ensure timely communication. Another minor inconvenience is that the campaign outbox emails don't consistently update to show the next send date, making it a bit challenging to track and plan follow-ups effectively. WhaleGPT helps me quickly enhance my outreach.

The many Campaign settings are awesome. I'm working in different time zones and countries simultaneously, so I can set the sending days according to local time zones and holidays.

There are many Custom Variable options, so easy and quick to customize the outreach.

I love the A/B Testing on the campaigns; it's very easy to use and create.

Bulk change for contacts in progress on an existing campaign is very easy and quick.
