The sourcing platform and email campaigns are easy to use and set up. It's a great tool for recruiters that focus on passive candidates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only disadvantage is that the ATS we use does not fully integrate with SourceWhale. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Automation- you can schedule emails and don't have to manually send anymore, SW does it for you.
Live chat- you have constant access to a support system, with pretty much immediate response. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Unlike with email, you can only automate Inmail reminders but not the actual Inmail itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's helpful when it comes to creating an outreach campaign. I no longer have to manual track my efforts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's not as friendly when it comes to LinkedIn profiles that lack personal email addresses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sourcewhale has been a game-changer for our business. It's helped remove what was a completely manual and laborious process for our team, and subsequently enabled a slick and efficient way of maximising our time and far more creative outreach - our people actually enjoy curating their campaigns and sourcing for talent, where our more traditional tools were falling down. The product itself is well designed, is constantly updated by the super-responsive team, and most importantly, feedback is listened to and acted upon within days, if not hours. This makes it feel exactly what many want in a product; customer-centric and flexible. The latest UI update looks great, is responsive and is easy to configure.
Besides the product becoming one of the best we've seen (and we've tested quite a few!), the customer service has been nothing short of excellent. The team genuinely look after you, want to understand how they can improve and are responsive to our needs, whilst also being clear about limitations or where tweaks are not possible, which is totally understandable. They've adapted to our requests at every turn, and it's made us feel 'plugged in' to the ongoing development of the platform what they're doing with the freedom to ask questions and make suggestions as they build and improve the product. You can't ask for more than that, as a customer. Long may it continue! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We tend to look at these products with quite a critical eye given we have quite specific needs in the niche industry we operate in, so we're genuinely surprised to find that we find it hard to dislike anything about Sourcewhale.
The only thing we can flag is that building large campaigns with more than one 'manual' step can end up creating a growing number of items in your to-do list, which can slow us down from time to time, but that depends on how you build your campaigns and how organised you tend to be. There are always immovable hurdles such as this, so it's a minor observation, to be honest. Otherwise, it's a fantastic product and we're extremely happy with the investment.
All we would love to see at some point is this product being built out into a fully customisable CRM on top of the outreach functionality. A system this good at something so many people regularly do a poor job with, tells me that a full-service product you don't need to integrate elsewhere to manage the data would be a logical and potentially huge pull for many companies that find value in it now. The data enrichment capabilities between this tool as it is, feeding back into a CRM that your business operates on for everything else, could be invaluable. ;) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sourcewhale helps automating email campaigns and also acts as a to do list for those actions that need to be triggered manually like sending in mails for example. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The time the LinkedIn add on takes to screen one LinkedIn profile for example is quite long, and sometimes it doesn't even retrieve relevant contact information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Ease of use and analytics are great. The email and phone finder functions have been beneficial. Their Customer Success team are also brilliant, and always happy to help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The manual LI messaging is a bit of a pain Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like how easy it is to use. I can easily set up a personalised campaign to a broad number of people and then forget about it and just let it do its thing in the background. Feels great getting a response a few weeks down the line on that piece of business you were trying to reach. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are very few things to dislike about the platform. Ben has been great at taking in feedback and within days or even hours, they have implemented a fix or workaround. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I found the functionality to be far more flexible than a previous solution I was using. The client engagement was spot on, and response to my requests for dialogue around improvements has been excellent so far. There are only a couple of minor things I would love to have improved slightly, since it would mean much more fluidity for me day to day. When I switched, I could see that SourceWhale had much more functionality and flexibility than a US alternative SaaS product I had been using until then, and particularly a good integration with my ATS/CRM. So, all in all, it fitted my busy life really well and saves me loads of time. It's great to see a UK based SaaS company taking it to the world. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like a global search facility to find all campaign names and contact names. I would like the campaign search to work across all campaigns - so live, paused and archived - otherwise I have to know which is which, and the 30-day auto-archive feature (whilst "tidy") makes this impossible when you have so many different templates for particular circumstances and situations. Also arranging campaigns in folders would make admin easier. But on balance the enhanced search functionality I have referred to would make this better than 5-stars.
