What do you like best about Smile.io?

What do you dislike about Smile.io?

Smile.io does not have as robust an integration with BigCommerce as it does with Shopify. Requests for various features like using a rewards redemption and a coupon code at the same time have not been implemented and haven't been given a timeline. What do you like best about Smile.io?

I appreciate how easy Smile.io is to use, both from a management and analytical standpoint. The platform makes reviewing and managing our rewards program seamless. Additionally, they are consistently releasing new features that enhance the experience for both us, as the client, and our customers on the front end. What do you dislike about Smile.io?

The pricing could be more competitive compared to other options in the market. While we're currently on a legacy plan, which keeps our costs reasonable, many newer features require upgrading to a more expensive plan, often higher than the competition. What do you like best about Smile.io?

Smile.io has enabled us to scale our business to a whole new level. We were suffering from a situation where our customer base were waiting for flash sales, and anticipating seasonal discounts before purchasing. This made our cash flow too sporadic. Smile has taken control of two problems, that of offering loyalty discounts and that of encouraging advocacy. We've had an outstanding experience with Smile.io! It’s affordable and incredibly user-friendly, which makes it easy for us to manage without needing to involve our development team. What do you dislike about Smile.io?

There are a few limitations that can be challenging. For example, the platform doesn’t automatically add redeemed free items to upcoming recurring orders in Recharge Subscriptions, which would be a great feature for subscription-based businesses like ours. We’ve managed to find an internal workaround to make this work, but having a seamless integration for this specific need would make the process more efficient and customer-friend. Smile.io is incredibly easy to set up and start using. The interface is intuitive, so we were able to get our rewards program up and running quickly with minimal hassle. The features are pretty solid, allowing us to create a loyalty program that engages our customers and encourages repeat business. The reporting options could use some improvement. I’d really appreciate the ability to export customer histories directly or at least view a more extensive history on a single screen. Currently, you can only see a handful of actions at a time, which means if I need to track back a year’s worth of history, it’s a tedious process to click through multiple tabs. The rewards program is easy to set up and maneuver through the process. Once ready, customers are provided with a great interface in which to collect and use their reward points. Customers are very happy with the program as they don't encounter issues while using Smile.io.

What do you like best about Smile.io?

We've been using Smile for many years. Customers are motivated to buy more products to earn more points and follow us on social media for the same reason. It's "tempting" for them to know they can get good discounts or free shipping. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Smile.io?

So far, we have no complaints about Smile. Perhaps we could configure the emails so they appear to come from our website instead of Smile, though I'm not sure if that's possible with the premium package.

Smile.io is a complete rewards system for our ecommerce business. Very easy to setup a rewards system that made our customer to fall in love with our brand, our products and our rewards! Till date, we have a complete rewards system that able to sync across our sales channels both Retail and Online. What do you like best about Smile.io?

Although the desire to increase functionailty and customisation is always present, with any Shopify app you use - Smile have already got a lot of these covered right from the get-go! The team behind Smile have already thought about what a loyalty/rewards app should do, then added even more on top.

It's an extremely flexible app, and while I would like to see more customisable rewards, what you get right out of the box is more than enough to launch and capture a large portion of your customer base.

The pricing model is ideal as it scales along with your program, and being able to see sales influenced by Smile always keeps you reassured youre getting a lot of bang for your buck!

Their customer support have been fantastic whenever we have had any questions, which has made up the majority of our communication, as there have been no glitches or bugs so far (and hopefully forever!)

Integration was pretty seamless, and definitley "plug'n'play" springs to mind. You need no technical skills and only a basic understanding of Shopify's seller platform to get it up and running. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Smile.io?

As previously mentioned, and maybe I'm expecting too much, bit a but more customisation when it comes to creating rewards would go a long way to making this an almost perfect app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have been using Smile.io across all three of the Shopify Plus stores that my company operates and that should speak volumes. Customer retention was our number one objective as increasing LTV is our biggest KPI across the brands. Smile.io ensures customers are consistently motivated to come back and re-purchase because of the value that the app generates. The ability to customise rewards also means that the program never gets old and customer interest removes at a peak. The VIP tiers and program integration also adds another layer of excitement which again, keeps customers interested and motivated to move up to the next tier so they comtinue to be motivated to purchase more.
