Smile.io has been a game-changer for our small online business. The platform is very easy and user-friendly, making it easy to set up, customize rewards and get customers excited to shop . Since implementing Smile, we've seen a significant boost in repeat purchases, store referrals and people getting excited to engage. Definitely has help grow our social media platforms too!
Customer service is fast and always gets back quickly to me when I email or chat them. The FAQ's are definitely helpful too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Can't say I dislike anything about Smile.io. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Smile regularly release new features and this is imperative to any Shopify app, since customer expectations are continually evolving, and the ecommerce landscape consistently changes. This means our loyalty and rewards program is always-up-to-date and always meets customers' expectations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only downside (which may change soon) has been the app's inability to create custom rewards outside of our store's product catalogue. For instance - we would love to offer customers a custom reward that involves a collab with one of our commerce partners. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Very effective way to reward customers for supporting your business. Easy to use and requires no maintenance with the exception of assisting customers with their accounts or points. A high volume of customers utilize their rewards points which makes them feel like valued customers. Set up is simple and works seamlessly with my selling platform. Over the course of many years, I have very seldom had the need to reach out for support. However, they have always been readily available, when needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While the app is affordable to use the basic features, you are limited to some customizations unless you upgrade. I find the upgrade option far too expensive. These features should be made available without having to pay the expensive upgrade fee. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Smile is a really good tool for handling our loyalty program in Shopify.
Easy to install and integrate in Shopify.
Easy to use as well and covers most of the needs for us in a loyalty program.
Their support is good and easy to reach to as well if needed! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only minus in the software we have discovered is that all assets cant be translated to our native laungage Swedish since its a to small country.
This causes that our swedish customers are facing both English and Swedish mixed in the communication. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Smile.io is easy to install on the website and simple to use and administer. Customer support has always been responsive, and they go over and above to help, whether that's answering questions or amending code on our site. This is an app used by my customers daily, where just earning points but also redeeming them, which helps foster loyalty and repeat purchases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While on the whole the app works well, I think it would be good to have an option for customers to redeem odd lots in points rather than meeting a minimum threshold. Also, the app accrues loyalty points on the net tax amount, which is fine but can cause some confusion. Finally, the Referral element of the app is powerful but I feel a bit under-developed in terms of look and feel and making it marketable - i.e. the email is very basic. We enjoy using Smile as it provides and easy way to give back to our clients. The point system is great and very user friendly. I like that I can easily go in and subtract and add points if needed. The Smile support team has also been very helpful everytime we've needed them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't really have anything negative to say about smile. If I had to think of something, I think it would be great if there was an option to have clients smile points come up on Shopify when we are cashing them out. This way instead of the client having to ask to use their points, I could tell them they have enough points for a discount. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The most helpful part about Smile is that it is user-friendly. It was very easy to set up and implement and it integrated perfectly with our Shopify stores (both online and POS.)
We also love the excellent customer service of the Smile customer support staff. Every time we need something, someone is there to help us. We use the "chat" feature of the Smile app frequently, and we have enjoyed success with problem-solving any issues via that tool.
We use Smile a lot and try to get all of our customers to sign up for it. We would highly recommend this app to anyone looking for a good automated reward program. And, our customers seem to love it too! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The downside is that occasionally I have customers who do not understand how to redeem their points. However, I am usually able to help them and iron out their account questions rather quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The platform has been so easy to use, integrate and make live on our site, we reward one point per dollar spent and then give back $1 for every 15 points, its honestly been great, customers think its fair and we have had so much extra revenue generated from it. Plus we very rarely run store sales as customers get there own points from being loyal. I had a few moments where I couldnt figure something out and the customer service was amazing at helping me fix all the little problems so quickly! Our customers use rewards everyday and its awesome Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Ummmm I'm struggling to put anything here, they have been overall awesome - would love some sneaky discounts off the invoices every now and then haha but thats it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have had Smile.io on/off for nearly 10 years now. I originally signed up when they were still called Sweettooth ... but then I left and tried other loyalty programs to save money. First, i tried "S Loyalty", which was OK .. but they lacked a lot of features and were still a bit pricey/glitchy. Then, I left "S Loyalty" and migrated to "Stamped.io" because I thought it would be worthwhile to consolidate my reviews collection and loyalty into one app. that was a HUGE mistake. Stampd.io was a colossal nightmare. Nothing worked properly. It was giving points when it wasn't supposed to, No one got their birthday rewards ... Points were never expiring when they were supposed to. People were collecting an obscene amount of points against my policies. (points = money) ... I paid for Stampd.io annually and realized all the problems on the 13th month when no points expired after a year. between months 13-19, stampd.io did NOTHING to help me. they just ignored all of my inquiries about the glitches. Finally, I cut my lossed and bailed on Stampd even though I had a few months still prepaid.
I then went BACK to Sweettooth (although now they had changed their name to smile.io) .... Everything was SMOOOOOTH as butter. the migration was seamless and everything has been working perfectly since I came back. And with the Judge.me integration, My loyalty and Product reviews are still linked and work better than stamped ever did. Setup/installation and migration were a breeze. Smile.io support made it so easy.
I now log into Smile.io near daily to check on customer accounts and never have any issues. When we have salty customers, I usually offer then a small partial refund ... OR bonus value in points to use toward a future purchase. People usually love $15 worh of points vs $5 refund. win:win.
THANK YOU Smile.io!! Support has been top notch, too! They even let me test a beta feature once which was super rad. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing that bummed me about coming back to Smile.io was that I wasn't able to import birthday data ... I had over a thousand customers with birthday data (month only) that got lost in the shuffle.
So when I migrated back to Smile.io, I had to make a note on our FAQ that birthday information prior to "X" date was lost and needed to be reinputted. Some customers were salty about it, but it's all water under the bridge now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I liked how easy it was to setup Smile.io - They walk you through the whole process. I only use the free version and you can customize a good amount of things. It's good for small businesses looking to grow their customer affiliate strategy and keep clients coming back.
Their customer support is amazing as well, I had a couple of questions and faced a problem and the support team did not give up, they helped me solve it quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have the free version and the jump from free to paid is pretty high. In the free version you are pretty limited in your abilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
