Top Rated SiteSpect Alternatives
SiteSpect is a real partner to us. More than just a provider of a tool. For us that is really key, next to their awesome tooling which helped us boost our internal CRO process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not the most intuitive tool to start with. This will require some learning curve to figure out all the features the tool has. But once you're in you will be really happy with all that SiteSpect provides and the near endless possibilities for experimentation it brings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Feels like it is a pretty exhaustive testing tool, saw some capabilities but tough to unlock when integration limited our ability to fully utilize the tool/platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We selected the tool thinking it would integrate well with our custom platform - unfortunately that has not been the case, we're having to consider alternatives. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sitespect has very powerful tools that help make targeting specific users or pages for your tests. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sitespect doesn't give you access to specific users, just general statistics for audiences. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really like the reliability of my test results--because SiteSpect sits within a websites data layer, I know that I am getting clean, quality data with no interference. I am able to segment my data quickly and efficiently with very little effort. I am also able to easily export the raw datasets for more complex analyses.
In addition, my experience with the SiteSpect team is always wonderful. If there is something I want to do, but am unsure about how to approach it, I am always able to bring those concerns to my product consultant and dedicated developer and we are able to workshop my idea in the same day. Furthermore, I find that my concerns are always addressed, and my feedback on the tool is always taken seriously. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I feel that the UX of the performance matrix needs some work. I only use the performance matrix to analyze my data because I like to see the behavior of all of my users within all of my variations without needing to hover. I rely heavily on all of the statistical output in the performance matrix, some of which is not available at a glance in results overview. Even when I do my daily test check in, I conduct extensive segmentation within the performance matrix. It really needs a facelift. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The amount of granularity and customization. Our team is able to set up and roll out A/B tests with high specificity as to who we are targeting and what we are testing. SiteSpect offers the ability to set up a very large amount of metrics and filter our results to ensure that we can get the clearest picture of how our users are interacting with our site. They also offer a robust set of analytical tools such as graphs and charts to help us visualize the data. They are an account-driven company and they take the traditional approach to ensure we are satisfied with our use of the app. They even offer a set amount of consultation hours where they can help us analyze our data or suggest possible tests we can try. There is a relatively steep learning curve. It would have taken me a long time to figure out how to use it if I didn't have my teammates tell me how to use it. Their interface and onboarding certainly could use some work. Their app has two sidebars the user has to switch between in order to navigate to certain pages. It sometimes creates a guessing game as to what link is where. They would be better served using a single sidebar. Another recommendation I have is to clearly explain what each section is for and how it is used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ability to do multivariant testing via campaigns and know the impact of making content changes before we actually make the change. I also like that SiteSpect doesn't use a javascript tag so there is no content refresh or a page flicker. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The metric calculations can be difficult to configure if you're unfamiliar with doing so. We had to enlist the help of the SiteSpect team but they were more than happy to walk us through the first few metrics we wanted setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The feature toggles are pulled in prior to page load so there is no flicker of the tested elements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It sometimes seems like the features are underdeveloped. Which leads to some not ideal experiences within the interface. They're good at requesting feedback, but there are some features that many people have been asking for for a long time and still have not been addressed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sensitively priced, great customer relationship and support, innovative mindset, business goal oriented Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It requires a fairly technical team to use all the capabilities Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Site settings are very granular. Admins can configure all sorts of custom headers, DNS records, load balancing, bypass conditions, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Cookies can be large and surpass max-size header limits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
SiteSpect is a really powerful server-side A/B testing tool in which you can test pretty complex things and not only change the button colours. With SiteSpect we are able to run tests on both web and app, which is nice to have one platform for both.
Other than having a powerful tool, the people factor is also really important for such a collaboration and SiteSpect team is really competent on all levels, both technical and non-technical. They provide great support all the time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As it is mentioned in here before, the learning curve is a bit steep in the beginning. As a big organisation with all the product teams testing autonomously, it is a bit hard to onboard all the new users from different backgrounds (product owners, software developers, analysts etc.) and make them feel comfortable using SiteSpect.
Also, for topics that require support from the US product team, it takes some time to get an answer and get the ball rolling, but overall they are helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
