What do you like best about Simpplr?

Easy to use interface that employees can engage with -- without training. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Simpplr?

Having to designate each person as a content manager is cumbersome for a company that values letting everyone contribute. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Simpplr solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about Simpplr?

Simpplr is heavily focused on both the user experience as well as the administrative functionality. Many competing projects fall apart in one of these areas. The administrative functionality is great but little though has gone into the U/I. Or, the U/I is great but it's undermined by limited functionality. What do you like best about Simpplr?

There are so many things that we like about Simpplr; after an exhaustive search for a new communications tool, Simpplr stood out as a best-in-class platform that would accommodate the quirks of our uniquely-structured organization. However, the things we like best include the ability to segment users based on attributes, the ability to enable SSO with multiple tenants/clients, and the ability to easily reach our employees where they are with a mobile app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Simpplr?

There really isn't much of anything to dislike about the platform. However, if we have to share little nits, perhaps it's the system not being able to offer more than one people data scheduler. Also, not being able to duplicate site set-ups in 1-2 clicks could be something, though this is more because of the way we are leveraging the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Simpplr solving and how is that benefiting you?

Simpplr is solving many of the problems we were experiencing with our previous solution. Previously, we had a clunky desktop-only experience with limited SSO capabilities. With Simpplr, we have added an app to reach our employees wherever they are, and leverage our multiple SSO tenants for an easy log-in experience. Previously, admin functions were very manual and required heavy IT or IC support. With Simpplr, we can empower our businesses to manage many of these functions for their areas. Simpplr's auto-governance function will ensure our content stays up to date. But above all else, Simpplr gives us a space for our different business units to customize for what they need, while still uniting us all under the same enterprise umbrella. What do you like best about Simpplr?

Simpplr is easy to use and administer. Creating and managing content is easy and has allowed us to centralize content and ensure it is current. Simpplr gave us more value upfront than competitors that made most of the features we were looking for add-ons. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There has been dissatisfaction with the search functionality, including the relevance of the results and how the results are displayed. Also, there are limitations with the home dashboard layout options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Simpplr allowed us to easily centralize and maintain the information, allowing us to point our users directly to what they need. Also, the ability to have sites for each department/practice enables us to highlight what the department/practice does and feature relevant information that is accessible with a click. What do you like best about Simpplr?

Sending out information to the company has never been easier. We also use it to store internal proceedures and processes. It makes it very "simple" to get the right information to the right people Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Simpplr?

I wish there was a way to upload permissions by CSV instead of having to assign them manually. It is pretty time consuming for the engineering org to assign out content manager permissions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Simpplr?

For a small team, implementing a new intranet can be daunting. Simpplr's implementation team made the process not just painless but enjoyable -- especially after a failed attempt with another intranet provider that outsourced their implementation support, to our project's detriment. The process was true to the name -- simple -- just like the user and admin experience of using the platform. The support our Corp Comms and IT teams have received is second to none, and it didn't end after implementation. Our account rep is very attentive, helpful, and reliable. Our employee engagement on the platform has consistently been over 90% since we launched over a year ago. Clearly, employees are happy with the tool, and so are we. I would highly recommend Simpplr to anyone considering them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Simpplr?

It's one of the pricier platforms, so we really had to go to bat to get internal budget approval, but it's well worth it. One improvement we'd love to see -- and have requested -- is the ability to add polls directly on a site dashboard using a tile. Currently, polls can only be posted in the site feed. Simpplr has reduced the amount of email employees receive and reduced silos in the business by making information that was previously limited to specific lines of business available to all employees.
