What do you like best about SimpleTix?

We’ve been using Simpletix for approximately six years, and from the very beginning, they’ve stood out as an innovative and proactive organization. Their dedication to customer service is exceptional, and they are incredibly responsive to user issues, offering timely functional fixes whenever necessary. Given that we’re in the events industry, we know that quick assistance is crucial—and Simpletix has consistently delivered. I can remember when the SimpleTix founder called me directly to provide an assist - that's not merely customer service - that is customer devotion!

They make us look good! The platform has continuously improved over the years, and as an experienced event planner, I now look forward to seeing what new features they roll out next. Simpletix has introduced functionalities I didn’t even realize I needed, but which have significantly enhanced my event presentation. Their improvements have truly elevated the experience for both me and my attendees.

Since incorporating Simpletix's articulated seating selection for our galas, I've seen a dramatic reduction in the time spent on micromanaging details. More importantly, the platform’s user-friendly interface has made it incredibly smooth and straightforward for our guests to use. Over the last few years, with thousands of attendees, we've had only a handful of customer-related issues—all of which were user errors. The time savings, combined with the platform's reliability, has made our organization appear highly professional and efficient. Truly in 6 years there has not been online lag or server dropout. They are wizards!

The direct communication features and seamless integrations have truly streamlined our event management process. What once felt like a mountain of logistical challenges now feels manageable, even effortless. My teams onsite have reported that checking in guests in bulk is now simple, requiring no extra equipment or hassle. This has made events run much more smoothly upon first arrival, while at the same time we are confident that we’ve captured all necessary metrics for easy reporting from the SimpleTix portal post event—critical for budget planning and requests for future funding.

From start to finish, Simpletix has been an innovative and indispensable partner in our growth. Their platform has become a cornerstone of our event planning and execution, and we couldn’t imagine running our operations without it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SimpleTix?

There aren't many downsides, but I would love to see a silent auction feature added.

In the beginning, the portal setup UI was a bit challenging to navigate, but that has improved significantly. The user interface has evolved into a more intuitive experience—it's truly a night-and-day difference! New users won't even know what I'm referring to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SimpleTix?

SimpleTix is easy to use. Our trainer, Shawn, was very responsive to our questions and patiently walked us through the learning process. SimpleTix is pretty simple to use. Even though it has limited features we decided to use it due to it's simplicity and low fees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SimpleTix?

Only a couple of downsides.... 1. We wanted to give our guests the option of paying the fees for credit card ticket purchases. The program does not easily allow this to be optional, as most other software platforms do. We had to choose either to absorb the cost for all or pass the cost on to our guests for all. 2. We wish we had the ability to require guests to leave an email OR phone number. Instead we had to choose which to require. 3. We used the software to document check payments for tickets. We were told the fee would be $.25 per transaction. Instead, the full transaction fee was "charged" as if it was a credit card payment. Although the full fee wasn't actually charged, the appearance of this fee amount on our documents was confusing. It would be very nice if, when we post a cash/check payment, the system would automatically adjust the fee amount to $.25. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SimpleTix?

The free and unparalleled support. Hands down. The software is very good and we've slowly learned to use it, but we've encountered some bugs and we've asked to do some unusual things, and as the primary user, I've made a lot of mistakes. What do you dislike about SimpleTix?

We moved from two other ticketing platforms. Among them Brown Paper Tickets which had some features that simpletix doesn't. It autogenerated press releases, which was pretty cool. It also had a push features in which it sent all the tickets sold by event to emails at 6 AM. Simpletix does not have those features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SimpleTix?

We are a small startup in a very rural area and SimpleTix has been nothing short of amazing. From intuitive design that makes it easy for us not so tech savvy folks to set up an account and events. It's like it was made specifically for the business we are trying to do, even though we are extremely specialized. And if for some reason we do goof something up, the support is PHENOMENAL. Even Amazon, in its prime (pun intended) couldn't hold a candle to these guys. There is only one other company that has ever impressed me so much with their customer service. I think I've had to contact them twice, and both times they were SO fast to get back to me. They also fixed my problem fast, but even if they hadn't, a company that gets back to you and keeps you in the loop as a problem is being solved...that's practically unheard of these days. MORE PEOPLE NEED TO USE SIMPLETIX because if ever there was a tech company that deserved support..it's this one! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SimpleTix?

Love the functionality and the flexibility of the software, whilst staying simple and affordable enough for small organisations such as ours to implement. Whenever we've had an issue or query, team are always amazing at helping out, and response time is excellent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SimpleTix?

Had issues with connecting Square readers with the organiser app in the first few months, but issues seem to have reduced significantly now and only occasional issue with the two apps 'talking to each other', and usually resolved by closing app and reopening. What do you like best about SimpleTix?

Simpletix does some of the work of planning ticketed events and classes for me by seamlessly integrating with Square (I don't have to invoice customers or collect from them on site) and sending reminders for classes, which I often dont have time to do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
