Silktide has been a lifesaver. My institution swapped from Siteimprove due to the long scan times. Silktide was easy to implement, integrate and is now easy to use. We use it daily in our Higher Education instutition because it has a number of features we love, most importantly accessibility checks that provide us with broken links, misspelled words, SEO concerns, and more. On top of it all, we haven't had to use customer support much, but, Ayu Shek from Silktide always provides our institution with great customer support when needed and reminds us to follow up with her if we ever need anything. She is the best and always cheery! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have not had a bad experience with Silktide yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is a lot to like. It is easy to set up and schedule, the UI is clear, and it is easy to assign tasks to different team members. The Academy is particularly good, allowing you to assign training to team members and see their progress. The test results are thorough and for the most part easy to action, it also allows me to provide more technical information to my platform developer. The AI assistant is a brilliant addition and gives a holistic overview of your content that complements the raw data from the results pages very effectively. The customer support team are very responsive and helpful too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not really a downside, but I think I would use the dashboards more if I could customise the widgets like you can on Looker Studio. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Setting up custom policies. Its such a useful feature to be able to find a word, term, link etc across our whole web service. We have thousands of pages and without a service like Silktide it would be almost impossible to find all occurences of a given term and replace them when needed. Its sometimes a little bit unclear when a policy has or hasn't run yet. There have been times when I've set something up that hasn't produced results and I'm not sure if there are no results or if the crawl for the policy isn't complete. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love that Silktide offers a breadth of services to help improve the quality and accessibility of my website. I like how things like Silktide's web analytics are integrated with the rest of the platform to easily see which areas need the most focus. I also love the support team - my Customer Success Manager, Susan is so responsive and fabulous. She really help me to keep on track with our accesibility initiatives! There are some headaches with user management and some of the detail given in reports. However, Silktide has been incredibly responsive to feedback and has incorporated many of our suggestions, eliminating several "pain" points. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've used Silktide for many years in two different organisations and have always found it easy to use. Accessibility is a key part of my work and I use it at least once a week. Even using basic features like the broken link checker is very helpful if your CMS lacks such features.
The user interface is simple and easy to show others, making training much easier. The clear separation of content and accessibility tasks allows my team to focus on content while I handle accessibility without overlapping.
The customer service team is one of the best I've encountered. They respond quickly via the chat help function and are always ready to assist if you run into any problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only downside is that the scans can take quite a while if you have a large site, we run these when we have made any 'big' changes at the end of the day. The speed can be quite slow if you are running a test and trying to fix other issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The system is very easy to navigate and is set out in a way to make it easy for you to take action on areas that require priority.
Each of the sections explain exactly what issues there are with your website and simply explains exactly what is required to fix the problem.
We (Watford Borough Council) use this weekly, and have managed to improve our acessibility 'ten-fold' using this system, which is one of the main reasons for it's implementation.
On each of your pages, you can check all of the problems of the page, be it template, CSS, HTML or accessibility. It allows you fix on page and in some cases, logs you straight into your CMS.
The staff at Silktide are helpful and have frequent meetings with you to understand what is going well and what isn't. After the system is installed and the code is added to your integrations (a very easy process), you are ready to go.
One of the newest implentations (AI) has made our jobs even easier, and a fair amount of credits are given to you by Silktide to help to improve your content even further, highly recommend using this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There isn't much to not like about the system.
Maybe, and this is if I am being 'picky' is that erros can be duplicated across multiple pages, where it could be dealt with as one single issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I reacently had issue testing our pages using Silktide. The issue was not with the Silktide software and was with our tesst user setup.
Silktide team were very responsive with email support and zoom team meetings.
Thanks to: Andrew Palmer, Ben Chamness and Daniel Towers who guided me through the solution.

Silktide is a progressive company, the software is great and finds issues that I need to use variety of other software present. Silktide software is one stop solution that finds most of these.
The YouTube presentations is also very helpful, Silktide toolbar is a great free tool.
Love Silktide. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Silktide's platform is an essential tool in our team's design and development toolbox. It complements manual and user testing processes when optimizing websites for accessibility (testing against WCAG criteria). It saves time when conducting sitewide audits (broken links, spell checking, site inventory tools, policy checks, etc.). It also sheds light on opportunities that might otherwise be missed (keyword performance, review of technical SEO checks, etc.).
The platform is easy to use and intuitive for developers, designers, and project managers. The ability to export client-friendly reports demonstrating performance over time is also valuable.
More importantly, the human customer support in sales, training, and technical troubleshooting is responsive and consistent. We've worked with other competitive products that are similar, but Silktide's ability to respond to our organization's needs is what sets Silktide apart. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
At the moment, admin tools to manage the Silktide account (i.e., adding/deleting sites, managing page count, user permissions, etc.) are rudimentary, making it challenging to use the same account in an organization with multiple independent offices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the Accessibility evaluator in Silktide. It is thorough, grades on multiple WCAG levels, and offers suggestions and solutions on how to fix the issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes, refreshing of edited pages via a new scan take a little too long. Sometimes the changes in pages aren't reflected in rescoring when looking at the page and the code behid that Silktide has captured. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Intuative easy to use interface. Clear dashboards that highlight issues. Flexabillity to scan any site or any section of a site.
Excellent support via chat bot or regular catch ups with account manager.
Simple to set up.
Makes maintaining accesibillity possible for a small web team that has a number of large sites to maintain. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't have anything i dislike about Silktide apart from the fact that occasionaly it shows me i have lot of work to do to keep my site useable and accesible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
