I love the ease to create and assign user groups to ensure that the end users are seeing the content based on their profiles. This has allowed us to provide a more personalized experience for our end users and provide content at scale. Compared to sales enablement platforms we have used in the past, our end users have increased their frequency of use based on the overall positive user experience provided by Showpad Content. Showpad needs to focus more on the content management experience with managing users. I often found it difficult to onboard users in bulk when we have both Showpad Content & Coach since not all users need licenses for both. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Our support team has been great. Madison Gutwein is a rock star! She's patient with my lack of knowledge, very quick to respond, provides helpful little videos to walk me through how to do whatever I'm struggling with, and always has a great attitude about everything.

I think my dislikes are related to how my predecessors originally set up our experiences. Several of the folders have tag rules that make it difficult to find some of our assets. Our Showpad reps have been working with me to determine the best way to rebuild and reorganize to make accessing assets even easier for our Sales team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not only does Showpad create a visually appealing and customizable document repository for sales collateral, the sharing features with metric tracking take it above and beyond. It makes executing on marketing plan tactics a breeze by allowing us to create lead generation and invitation style email templates that reps can send to their entire customer base in just a few clicks, with back-end tracking to receive detailed customer interaction data in par with Marketo. Furthermore, the ability to create account-specific microsites in 'Shared Spaces' has been a valuable tool to generate continued engagement with customers from the point of sale and beyond. Some of the backend fuctionality is a little bit clunky based on the number of features available, but that is not something our sales team see so we have found ways to manage the backend. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The backend administration of ShowPad is super easy to use and provides easy to digest analytics so I know what resources are being used. Anytime I've had questions about asset management strategy, the ShowPad team has provided quick and comprehensive support. When they wanted to sell us Showpad, they assured us that they would work on the integrations with Salesforce, which were fundamental for us. After two years without any progress, we are forced to use another solution. Despite not fulfilling their promises and informing them that we will no longer use it, they are forcing us to pay for another year due to the terms of their contract. I love that we were able to have SharePoint as a bridge for our content. Makes it much easier to have specific tags (which makes searching easier). The folder structure is my favorite to lay out our products & solutions to match my companies website. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In shared spaces having a chat feature (different than the next steps) it can keep a lot of the communication in one place. Not being able to send announcements to specific names, only groups. One of the easiest systems to keep your salesstaf updated with new information. It's a very user-friendly interface and allows you to have a great content management. And If you encounter a problem, good for you to know their helpdesk is just a few clicks away.
