When working in bulk product editor you'll have the ability to set rules for which items go into a sale. This isn't the fault of the editor program, but with each one, you do have to have a Google product tag --- so example, I may want to discount, or update bath bombs and shower gels on my site. I can discount them with the editor, but then have to go in and choose the bath bombs and the gel separately and update or change the google tag. This is even harder when you are uploading new products, you have to go in and do this for each individual product... which can be time-consuming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
being able to edit in bulk in general is a necessary and efficient feature. having most of the items that need to be edited in bulk regularly is east enough to access. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
i wish the ability to change/copy all were an option. the option to bulk edit product descriptions would be ideal and having the option to set and save your edit screen would be key. having to select the same festures each time is a pain when it defaults to three unnecessary/unused filter items. Shopify Bulk Editor allows you to mass edit products - it is similar to how Shopify allows you to use their "spreadsheet" editor tool, except it is much better because it allows you to edit multiple products in one click. For example: we have some products with the same product description - using Shopify Bulk Editor, this took us maybe 15 minutes versus the hours it would normally take! I did have some issues at first with loading and getting the system set up, and once I had it up and running I had some issues with formatting (as a design nerd, the formatting matters to me a lot). This was rather bothersome when it happened, but mostly because I was sure it would take days to get help and that would be too late. I do wish that it was a little bit more options to edit and sometimes there is some difficulty pulling down a cell for example (to edit everything) and I have to do it manually or do it the hard way.
