"ShareVault is best in class"

What do you like best about ShareVault?

Their product is excellent, and very professional. I use them for data rooms to face potential investors. They find the process seemless, without major information requests for data grabs like some other groups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent value added product with an even better customer service"
5/5
What do you like best about ShareVault?

We initially purchased their product for document sharing in potential transactions. We found their product is easy to navigate, where we created various folders relevant to different types of audiences. Document management in their system is easily managed via indexing, where we do not need to have the same document in different folders. The process of creating folders and sub-folders is logical and intuitive. The reporting tools as to who saw what document is superb.

Their system is an excellent platform to share documents during a diligence process. Furthermore, we enjoyed the system so much that we used it for our internal document sharing - outside of a due diligence process.

Their business development team and corporate liaison have all been extremely helpful and attentive to our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ShareVault?

Dislike is too strong of a word. Their system requires a learning process to figure out its various capabilities. We were able to navigate around and use it effectively after 2-3 hours of use. Their team was very helpful in answering questions as they arose. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent data room software."
4.5/5
What do you like best about ShareVault?

Sharevault provides the opportunity to assign levels of security, based on the user or on the stage of the raise. The file tag system is very intuitive Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ShareVault?

I find it confusing to update one document in the system that is tagged in multiple other places.

But overall I have no complaints Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"ShareVault Review"
4/5
What do you like best about ShareVault?

I love the flexibility with creating users and groups and being able to specify the roles for each. We have a lot of instances where certain users are set up to be contributors, while others are only set up to be reviewers. This is important since not all staff levels should have the same access to the system. In addition, our firm and especially our clients greatly appreciate the enhanced security that ShareVault offers. Cyersecurity is of utmost importance in our industry, so it is pivotal that our data and our clients' data remains safe and can be shared in a safe manner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ShareVault?

Sometimes it is a bit overwhelming to view all the documents at once. If there was a way to reduce the noise a bit that would be helpful. Furthermore, our firm would appreciate some sort of audit trail to track all the changes that our users make in the system. This is acrucial component for our SOC audit purposes and is something we specifically look for in all the technology systems we use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hi Adam,

We appreciate the feedback!

I am happy to hear that your team has been making use of our robust user roles to ensure all of your documents remain entirely safe. Regarding our reporting, we are able to provide internal reports of administrator activity. As your dedicated customer success manager, I’d love to hop on a 5 minute call to show you how you can do this with our system and confirm our understanding of all your needs for SOC compliance. "Solid platform with established capability"
4/5
What do you like best about ShareVault?

Sharevault is a well-known name in data management for sharing with external parties. The platform is relatively straightforward and easy to manipulate. I like that it saves previous viewer's information too, so when I go to add someone if they've been in the system before, it auto-populates their information. The report feature is the most useful tool within sharevault; which allows the administrator to see exactly when a document was viewed, and for how long. This is useful in holding our external parties accountable to their promises. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ShareVault?

The "view" of the program feels very early 2000s to me, with large boxes and large fonts taking up necessary amounts of screen space. I would prefer to be able to minimize/ reduce the number of things shown to me (zooming out helps a little, but notably, the "reports" page is clunky).

Additionally, the way you group external viewers is non-intuitive (to me). However, I understand how to use the platform fine; I would try to structure it differently. For example, when I click on a user, I see a huge block of what they have access to, which includes the permissions. This is not a quick way to view what users are accessing, because I have to dig through the block of text to view the individual folders and sort out of the permissions. Would be better to have a graphical tool to see which users are where. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hi Michael,

I appreciate your honest feedback!

I am happy to hear that you have been enjoying our security features. Biopharmaceutical companies often prefer ShareVault because of our robust Life Science features, which become particularly useful when sharing clinical submissions.

Have you heard about our “View as” feature? Using this you will be able to “login” as a user you have added into the data room! This is a great way to graphically double check and validate permissions before sending out that final invitation.

I would love to hear more about your suggestions regarding our reports! If you have 10 to 15 minutes over the next couple of weeks, let’s schedule a call to talk about this in more detail. Maybe we can also take some time to see what changes can be made so that your users and groups page is set up intuitively. If interested, feel free to reach me at Zach@shareVault.com

"A dataroom that fits to our credo"
5/5
What do you like best about ShareVault?

We liked best the impeccable customer support we received, from the initial presentation to onboarding and assistance in using the system.

The extensive functions of the data room, easy to upload files, user-friendliness, simple coordination of settings, easy to handle invitations, the self-explanatory operation with the highest security standard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ShareVault?

It was sometimes difficult to see which Reviewer has which access rights. It was necessary to control at least twice...but this is undoubtly a matter of training with the system.

We have noticed as well that invitations sent by the system obviously went directly into the spam on the receivers side. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"ShareVault is great. It is easy to use for anyone, whether they are technology-saavy or not."
4.5/5
What do you like best about ShareVault?

I think anybody can use it. ShareVault is straightforward and simple. The reality is that my 75-year-old MD can do just as well on ShareVault as can I. It is the universality of the ability to use ShareVault that is what makes it so valuable. Anybody, from a young software engineer to an old CFO, can upload, view, and download documents on ShareVault with ease. The process for an invited party to enter ShareVault has also been easy from what I have been told. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ShareVault?

I think some things are hidden too much. I often struggle to find certain things that I need to do as an administrator. There is no logically-easy way to do things like edit the administration settings and the logos on the different ShareVaults without seeking help. However, I do believe that this is a minor inconvenience and would strongly recommend ShareVault as a way to concisely and easily organize data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
