In Document Protection with ShareVault, we are provided with an Online shredder that destroys documents that are no longer needed, and we can also redact confidential information. Their system is an excellent platform to share documents during a diligence process. The platform is relatively straightforward and easy to manipulate. I like that it saves previous viewer's information too, so when I go to add someone if they've been in the system before, it auto-populates their information. The report feature is the most useful tool within sharevault; which allows the administrator to see exactly when a document was viewed, and for how long. This is useful in holding our external parties accountable to their promises. **What do you dislike about ShareVault?** The "view" of the program feels very early 2000s to me, with large boxes and large fonts taking up necessary amounts of screen space. I would prefer to be able to minimize/ reduce the number of things shown to me (zooming out helps a little, but notably, the "reports" page is clunky). Additionally, the way you group external viewers is non-intuitive (to me). However, I understand how to use the platform fine; I would try to structure it differently. For example, when I click on a user, I see a huge block of what they have access to, which includes the permissions. This is not a quick way to view what users are accessing, because I have to dig through the block of text to view the individual folders and sort out of the permissions. Would be better to have a graphical tool to see which users are where. **Recommendations to others considering ShareVault:** I am not sure of other data security programs out there, which perhaps speaks to ShareVault's success in itself. It is a well-established vendor for this service, and we have had a good experience with them for the last two years. **What problems is ShareVault solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use sharevault in partnering discussions to share data and bids with external parties. It has been a quick and easy way to share large files without risk of said files reaching the wrong people. I often struggle to find certain things that I need to do as an administrator. There is no logically-easy way to do things like edit the administration settings and the logos on the different ShareVaults without seeking help.
