Finally, we see a solution to getting rid of paperwork orders... Gone now are the days of crumbled, coffee-stained, incompleted, or heaven forbid completed missing records of the work and materials our technicians complete on job sites.
We track their GPS tokens, ensuring they are where they say they are (and can even calculate their average speed between jobs)
We know what materials they used, and with clock-in / clock-out, the labor costs associated with each service call, and the best part is that our service techs are doing all the data entry making invoicing half the job it used to be! Especially as ServiceBox integrates with our QB accounting software!
Customer signatures on Work orders even transfer to invoices for work completed, so there is never a question if the job was completed. From a branding perspective, digital tablets that customers sign elevate us from other contractors who are stuck in the stone age of projects and contract management.
Checklists and notes for specific equipment we routinely work on are instantly available, so all the relevant documents and preventative maintenance and service history are available at their fingertips!

I am the service dispatcher for One Degree. I like the seamless system for tracking all work done on each piece of equipment and easily reference previous work and recommended work for each job site and piece of equipment within the job site. I also like the way the schedule is easy to manage from one screen for the entire company. I can see at a glance how each technician's schedule is looking for upcoming days and am able to easily add recurring events. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The part I dislike MOST about Service Box is that the browser's back buttons don't work. If you are in a work order or quote and want to go back to the previous page, you have to click back to the main page for the company then select the tab you want to go to, then scroll down and find the quote or work order I need to reference, even if it was the last page I was working on. I LOVE THAT I CAN DO THE INVOICING AT THE SAME TIME AS CHECKING THE TIME CARDS. AND SINCE THE GUYS NOW DO THE WORK ORDERS WHILE ON THE JOB SITE, INVOICING THE CUSTOMER IS SO MUCH FASTER. NOW IT ONLY TAKES ME 1 DAY TO GET THE INVOICING DONE WHERE IT USED TO TAKE ME 2 MONTHS SOMETIMES.

THERE IS NOT MUCH THAT I DO NOT LIKE ABOUT SERVICEBOX. I WOULD LIKE TO BE ABLE TO SYNC THE TIME CARDS OVER TO SIMPLY ACCOUNTING, BUT SIMPLY DOESN'T ALLOW IT. ALSO, FOR SOME REASON, WHEN DOING A REFUND OR CREDIT, IT SYNC'S OVER TO SIMPLY AS A DEPOSIT AND NOT A CREDIT. BUT THAT'S NOT A BIG DEAL. I JUST DO IT IN SIMPLY INSTEAD OF SERVICEBOX. It saves a lot of administration time helping me focus on core business. The GUI is very easy to understand and quickly learn. Our field staff find it easy to use as well. The launch of their recent app is great, customer support is very responsive and helpful. The development team continually updates and adds new features to the platform, and does a great job notifying us users of such, and they release great informative notes about each update so learning about them is seamless. The pricing is very reasonable and if you're interested, one of their team members will come out to your office to go through a demo and presentation and answer all your questions. They also spend time helping set up your business in the system, so it is tailored to your exact business needs. Transitioning our old customer database from excel to service box was seamless and the entire migration process was very simple, quick, and did not require any of my time to set it up. I enjoy the versatility of the software, and how the system develops as the users require different items built in. Staying on top of customers needs, while providing a stable subscription fee is paramount.

I don't like how when we go to add many, (8+) photo attachments to an invoice, or work order, the software will stay stuck in the 'emailing' function - at times, for certain jobs, I require the ability to upload much more, and I am currently using drop box as this is an absolute bottleneck for my needs.
I do not like how there isn't an option to strictly submit paid receipts after manually entering a payment. (I understand you can resend the invoice, but it looks alarming for customers when it says "invoice" and not "receipt".
