Sentiment allows me to know how people feel about my brand and where I can improve. It is easy for me to determine whether customers are eager to try a recently introduced product or service, or if they have reacted positively to a recent promotional effort. Sentiment is challenged when it comes to working on reviews in different languages. I suspect not being proficient in English might be a considerable disadvantage in my line of business, because a considerable part of my customers are from the non-English speaking countries.
