The team were extremely flexbile and willing to accomodate our needs. The onboarding process was seamless and they made the complicance process super easy to understand and implement. Secureframe allows your organization to get a jump-start on compliance. Even if you are already SOC 2 or ISO compliant, moving to Secureframe will reduce the amount of time spent on reviewing controls, collecting evidence, and trying to figure out if your controls will satisfy the frameworks criteria.

Secureframe comes with predefined controls, already mapped to the frameworks' requirements, and these controls are written with security in mind, meaning they will satisfy both your SOC 2 requirements, as well as your security requirements from ISO or NIST. Additionally, the platform comes with well-written policies that you are free to use if it suits your organization. These policies are already writtent to satisfy the controls, and you just need to onboard your employees to sign them.

After completing the onboarding with Secureframe, you are already 50% through completing a SOC 2 audit, which through one of Secureframe's partner firms, will utilize the platform alongside you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I believe the following items are on the roadmap, but they currently are not implemented in the platform:

- FreshDesk implementation

It takes something difficult and takes a lot of work to do and simplifies it into actions. Before Secureframe, the task of hitting compliance felt like a huge endeavor. Integrations into a lot of vendors were a huge part of the simplification. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Not necessarily a drawback, but the next steps would be an even easier way to proceed when something is flagged or found to be that needs to be done. This would make developers have to spend less time inside of Secureframe itself trying to clear out items and more time developing products. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the easy-to-follow UI and the way everything is organized; I also like periodic task reminders and the colorful dashboard that lets you see what tests are failing and what action items need to be addressed. It's very convenient for some Secureframe to already have SOC2 or other certifications for some of the larger third-party vendors we use. It'd be ideal if they had these for all the vendors, but I recognize the difficulty. Secureframe's support and agents are also easy to reach, and they frequently provide office hours or meeting opportunities for us to discuss things. The product and services provided by SecureFrame helped us get our SOC2 Type I and II certifications in a much more streamlined and convenient way.

Edit: Previously I'd said the updates caused confusion, but that hasn't been an issue this year! The only possible bug is that some error notifications persist even after they've been fixed, but those are small things. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The online management tools helped us keep track of literally thousands of items we needed to address for our certification. It was great for our team to be able to log in, assign items to individuals, and keep track of our progress as we worked through those. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Some of the technical "connectors" didn't work properly with our system, meaning we weren't certain if implementation was done properly or not. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Once integrated, the compliance status for the different tests is automated, with evidence collection automation making audits easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There is a delta between what an auditor will dig into and what Secureframe presents as appropriate evidence for a test. However, many of the tests are satisfied through the automation, so while auditors may want different evidence or information, the number of tests that we had to work through were limited based on the automated evidence collection. The support for third-party integrations is incredibly comprehensive and easy to use. The detailed documentation, tutorials, guidance, and the dashboard for finding and resolving out-of-compliance issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ability to edit and undo some of the changes I make in the system is missing. Although the team is quick to respond and make any adjustments. I wish I could just undo some of the changes myself such as editing an employee's email address. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Our team loves Secureframe because the team is incredibly responsive and supportive. We chose the platform because we felt it had the best UI to help us keep track of our compliance audit requirements and support our processes for security on an ongoing basis. The team is knowledgeable, the platform is beautiful and we are navigating our way through the murky waters of compliance with assurance. The only thing I would note is that the product is young and it is always improving. I think that's a positive, but sometimes we hit roadblocks in the product; however, the product team has them fixed and smoothened out in no time. We like the constant dev improvements we see!
