The Secureframe platform and our assigned success rep were instrumental in getting us a SOC 2 Type I report in record time (~6 weeks). The process would have been super confusing without them, and they were able to handle almost all requests/objections from our auditors without any involvement on our part. The web dashboard is useful for high-level security monitoring, but is mostly designed for getting you audit-ready. They could add some more features (alerting, etc) that would make the platform more useful after the initial audit period. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

How quickly we got through our SOC2 process. The experience working with the auditors and Secureframe was so great — very responsive team set up a shared slack channel and helped us through the entire pipeline. I love the one-on-one support we receive with the Secureframe team members. They are quick to respond, knowledgeable, and patient with our questions. As this is our first time getting certified for SOC2 and ISO, there was a lot of confusion I had with this process. However, Alex and Jonathan at Secureframe so kindly walked us through every step of the way! With the Secureframe portal itself, I love how the website is integrated with other platforms (ex. Slack, Google, etc) to see exactly what steps are needed/see what is missing from our company. Secureframe has a fantastic alerting and reporting system that outlines every category of the certification process and lets us know what is needed. It is also an excellent tool for maintenance of SOC2/ISO. I had full trust and confidence in my Secureframe managers and could confidently rely on them if I needed help. Although Secureframe is great at alerting for specific categories, there was still a lot of self-learning that I had to do along the way. It would be great if some education was provided on what the SOC2 categories entail and why (ex. Asset management, Vendor Management, Why "x" policy needs to be in place). Secureframe helped us with every aspect of achieving SOC2 certification, from understanding the process, preparing policies and evidence, selecting an auditor, and completing the certification. They had great templates and example policies that helped us meet all of the criteria we were targeting quickly, and having assigned team members to go through the entire audit process expedited the whole process and gave us someone to reach out to with questions. There are a number of things I liked that I'd like to call out. First, the product and the integrations were great in really helping my team save hundreds of hours from collecting evidence, creating policies, and it was really easy to manage the entire process within the platform. I liked that Secureframe used a direct integration approach with our tech stack versus having to install an agent that we'd have to maintain. Second, the Secureframe team provided fantastic support from onboarding, to answering compliance related questions quickly, to being with us through the audit itself. The combination of customer success and compliance managers really sets them apart from other options in making you feel like you have security experts with you.
