What do you like best about Sapling?

Sapling had an appealing and mostly intuitive user interface. The integration with Greenhouse was very helpful when it came to moving candidates into the onboarding stage. I also like the customizable workflows for new hires and offboarding. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sapling?

Sapling has some limited functionalities that we've been able to solve by moving our onboarding over to Paylocity instead. I also found some issues in creating the customized workflows like setting the relative dates and not being able to assign the same customized task to multiple people. Sapling also doesn't have an EDI feed available to directly transfer benefits enrollments and changes to our carriers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Sapling solving and how is that benefiting you?

Sapling has been helping us with our onboarding and offboarding processes. By assigning tasks to all individuals involved in the processes it's an easy way to know who needs to do what for each change in the employee lifecycle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Sapling?

My favorite thing about Sapling is its integration into our systems to keep HR informed. I know our data is correct because we can quickly onboard and onboard people with Sapling. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sapling?

So far, there's nothing I don't like about Sapling. My company doesn't use the full capabilities, so if I'd change something, it would be that, but that's on us to do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Sapling solving and how is that benefiting you?

Sapling solves our problem of needing multiple systems to track employees. With Sapling, we can onboard employees (integrated with our ATS), assign them tasks, assign tasks to others who are part of onboarding, and even see our org chart! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Sapling?

What do you like best about Sapling?

Sapling tasks! This is a great feature and I like that they are sorted by due dates. I also like the autofill features when creating a sapling profile. It has saved time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sapling?

Documents! This is what seems to glitch the most. Limitations around documents - not being able to adjust a co-signer, ect. I also wish it integrated with Greenhouse. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Sapling?

The ability to create templates and saved workflows for on/offboarding team members on different teams. Our team became permanently distributed during the pandemic and this tool has made it so much easier for each stakeholder in this process to clearly understand what is happening from a hiring perspective, and what tasks they're responsible for. What do you dislike about Sapling?

I would really love the ability to chat/communicate within the tool. We still find ourselves taking some of the back and forth outside of Sapling and then returning to the tool to complete. Would love to be able to do it all in Sapling. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Sapling solving and how is that benefiting you?

Having a distributed team and a busy on/offboarding calendar, Sapling has infinitely improved communication within all talent stakeholders. What do you like best about Sapling?

Sapling offers many different modes to allow new employees to quickly get a read on what to expect in terms of company culture and in order to get to know their team quickly!

There are also a lot of integration options including TriNet and Lever which i don't see integrations for very often! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sapling?

Sapling can sometimes feel a bit clunky and if not used correctly leads to employees feeling as though it's just another thing in their inbox to read. Make sure that company wide you instill value in Sapling to begin. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Sapling?

Employee details, workflow, and overall setting also great. It mainly gives us opportunities to set up standardise processes that can be implemented through the workflows. It helps us have a very comprehensive data management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sapling?

I wish to have more customisation on the exit survey questions. Also, fewer bugs, if possible. There are times that I will get forced close while doing the work. Most importantly, i would love to get Sapling can be integrated to more systems, so if the API integration can be used more often, that'd be ideal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Sapling?
