What do you like best about SAP SuccessFactors Work Zone?

1. The Payroll system

2. Time Management module is unparalleled.

3. Organization Management is also good, which offers the view of the organization hierarchy at one shot.

4. Recruitment module is ok Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP SuccessFactors Work Zone?

1. the UI and the UX is terrible.

2. Learning the SAP HCM is complex as well. One cannot understand and know how one changes would impact the other, even with 5-7 years of experience.

3. The time management though good, lacks flexibility which is required in current workplace. I believe the SAPSUccessfactors offers good time management and OM structure. It is also user friendly and offers flexibility. The SAP SUccessfactors lacks in its compensation module which is where SAP HCM leads.

4. Learning and Development module needs to be changed drastically. There is no scope currently, everything has to be customized in SAP HCM.

5. Performance appraisal module is not good. Unlike SAP Successfactors which has an extremely good and flexible appraisal system SAP HCM doesn't offer any of them. The entire module has to be custom made.

6. Should there be a custom module created that is most disastrous thing because syncing the same with SAP becomes extremely difficult. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Mapping the entire organization and shifting them from oracle to SAP was the project i was working on. The payroll system of SAP HCM is a boon, offers lot of flexibility, also linked with time management and tax gives t an edge over normal oracle system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP SuccessFactors Work Zone?

the screens looks quite outdated, the User Interface needs to be improved. More functionalities needs to be bring in as other big competitors are bringing in. SAP HR needs to work on being flexible, agile and adaptive. Also one major dislike is - it is very tedious and very difficult to transition from SAP (once implemented) so before implementation, the users needs to take this point into consideration. Once you know how to work on SAP HCM, it's become much easier to work on the system. But the UI needs lot of attention and improvement to compete with other relatively quite modern ERP systems like Workday. Reporting needs, employee lifecycle transactions are running without much of hassles. AP HCM ERP allows one to organize a structure HR process system in a work station. SAP HCM Module provides thousands of standard reports and easy to customize them as per requirements and can be easily exported to Excel for further manipulation and filtering and then are uploaded back to SAP. Many tasks can be automated thus reducing manual work and increasing productivity. By using the SAP HR we can store the historical records of employees in much better way and use them or analyze or re-organized in much more flexible and user friendly ways. It is totally configurable and customizable software as per business needs. You just need to have a good consultant then it is really easy to use and organizations can have business insights at just one click. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It involves some ABAP work & payroll is not standardized for some countries. Furthermore, schema and PCR writing is pretty much difficult in SAP HCM. Consultant needs a lot of expertise to develop a schema. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
