What do you like best about SAP ECC?

I have worked on SAP ERP for the last ten years in sales, CRM and logistics. The most important feature of the entire SAP setup is that it is tightly coupled and integrated. This helps each transaction flow quickly and impacts all the systems accordingly. For example, if we have customer creation initiated from the CRM module, it automatically flows to the sales and accounting system. SAP is also an essential tool for books of accounts maintenance as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP ECC?

SAP is a powerful ERP system offering many business processes to handle, which can help businesses to flourish accordingly. But if we look at these modules, they are designed from a standard way of doing business. And if something is not covered, it requires a lot of modification from a custom development perspective. And we all know that all business processes are not straightforward and need integration with other third-party tools and too much logic to be coded. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SAP ECC solving and how is that benefiting you?

SAP is the world's leading ERP system handling many multi-billion dollar business transactions. We initially were on our own in-house created apps, and with growing business and commerce, it became tough to manage. That's when we decided to move on to SAP ECC & then S4, the later version. This helped us operate our business processes with standard apps and systematically put up the integrations with business apps. It has also helped us maintain a huge amount of transactions from data perspective. As a result, we manage multiple instances of SAP and digital setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SAP ECC?

It's an excellent software to manahe all your company's ERP need. However, i really like the feature of financial reconciliation through SAP ECC which is extremely good Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP ECC?

Reporting is a bit challenge. However, with SAP S/4 Hana, SAP, has addressed it. However we are yet to upgrade. I wish SAP would have given more inbuild reporting feature in SAP ECC. This has more of manual efforts now of you need another peripheral application to do the same. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SAP ECC solving and how is that benefiting you?

SAP ECC is one of the best in class ERP tool which helps us to consolidate all our enterprise resource planning needs under one single umbrealla. We are currently using it for Accounts, budgeting, finance reconcilation, Service delivery, Quality Management and it's helps the organisation to plan and forecast better, fasster and manage it's Risk on time.
