What do you like best about SAP ECC?

SAP ERP easily customisable according tho the organisation need. It provides various standard solutions of best practices of industry. Various Module of SAP ERP like Sales & distribution, Material Management, Finance & controlling, Plant Maintenance, Production Planning, Quality Management are very tightly integrated with each other. No need to maintain different master data for different Module. It leads to less data foot print & high standard of data consistency. SAP ERP can easily communicate with other tools with the help of IDOCS. So communication with supplier & customer can be easily managed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP ECC?

SAP ERP has not so good user interface. End user faces difficulties to do the transaction if they are using for first time. They need proper training & experience to use SAP ERP. Organisation have to spend lot of effort & money to trained the user. Heavy report need to be run after business hour due to heavy load. SAP hana is very helpful for this purpose. But in long term SAP ERP have very high return on investment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

SAP is highly integrated ERP tool & provide various best practices from various industries across the globe. Large organisation can take various advantages of various reporting & analytics provided by SAP ERP, they can also make their customise report according to their needs. What problems is SAP ECC solving and how is that benefiting you?

My role is to provide production support in SAP ERP for various clients.

Master data upload in SAP ERP database. Co-coordinating with technical team for extracting report from ERP database as per client needs.

What do you like best about SAP ECC?

It's an excellent software to manahe all your company's ERP need. However, i really like the feature of financial reconciliation through SAP ECC which is extremely good Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP ECC?

Reporting is a bit challenge. However, with SAP S/4 Hana, SAP, has addressed it. However we are yet to upgrade. I wish SAP would have given more inbuild reporting feature in SAP ECC. This has more of manual efforts now of you need another peripheral application to do the same. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SAP ECC solving and how is that benefiting you?

SAP ECC is one of the best in class ERP tool which helps us to consolidate all our enterprise resource planning needs under one single umbrealla. We are currently using it for Accounts, budgeting, finance reconcilation, Service delivery, Quality Management and it's helps the organisation to plan and forecast better, fasster and manage it's Risk on time.
