What do you like best about Salesforce Agentforce?

What do you like best about Salesforce Agentforce?

It just works, and it does it across the Salesforce ecosystem you already work with. It's growing at a very high speed, with constant weekly updates that hadn't been seen on other Salesforce solutions. What do you dislike about Salesforce Agentforce?

Cost is expectedly high. You need to have the highest version of Sales or Service Cloud to get Agentforce working, and Data Cloud is a must to get all the features working. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Salesforce Agentforce solving and how is that benefiting you?

This is Salesforce entry into the Agentic era, they decided to make it work across their entire Einstein 1 platform, meaning you get it in Sales, Service, Commerce, the new Marketing Cloud and so on. It leaves Chatbots behind in terms of natural language reasoning, and eliminates the need to developing an internal LLM and making it learn about your business by grounding everything in your business data. What do you like best about Salesforce Agentforce?

Agentforce is a great tool to help offload tasks from your team to an autonomous agent. I like that I can take a process driven approach to explain what I want it to do and that I can specify when it should take certain actions.

I really like that it functions like any other user within the org, so I am able to fine tune the sharing and access to give the agent the least priviledge possible, and design around it to ensure that things do or don't happen in response to the changes it makes. What do you dislike about Salesforce Agentforce?

Agentforce requires a different approach to its build - its more of explaining the job and the tools to complete a job to a very capable, but otherwise brand new employee that has no context about the business. While this shift can take some time to get used to, it allows you to explain how to think about the tasks and get repeatable results.

It is also a shift from the way that Einstein Bots had a picklist for mapping each field when handing off to a flow from the bot. Granted this offers a lot more functionality, and you get used to this pretty quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Salesforce Agentforce solving and how is that benefiting you?

I've build Agents for clients to give their teams extra capacity by offloading repetitive tasks or general questions that can be addressed via self-help. There are no upsides. It is too expensive for the use cases when it can easily be achieved for free (in terms of running costs) through flow or Apex. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Cost. No real benefit. The tool is over engineered and is not required for vast majority of use cases. The trust layer is too hidden in terms of how it works to provide any confidence to customers to use this in regulated industries. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
