This is a quick-to-implement chat bot. The developers made it very easy to build a bot around existing FAQs and documentation. Seems to be capable of working with many well-formed structured data formats as well. The AI capabilities seem promising, but I've not played around with the bot training features so much. Documentation could be updated with more examples and technical scenarios. Some of the API documentation does not provide full process details, leaving me to guess-and-check when building a call and moving around variables. Once I got past that hurdle, it was easy to recreate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Love the ability to build flexible conversations that feel natural to the user and how easy it is to test while building. The recommender engine, transcript access, and flow analytics help our conversational AI designers more easily improve bots over time. Rulai has an A-team of conversational AI experts/HCI PHDs and technical experts to provide advice for really complex implementations on the platform and help guide our team on how to best enable the solution. The company has a really robust product roadmap, addressing agent assist and conversational IVR use cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are opportunities for more comprehensive out of the box analytics capabilities in the platform and more flexibility on building insight dashboards for our different implementations. Continuous improvement is key for these solutions and having more granular data analytics would accelerate bot performance gains. Rulai is working on some additional "accelerators" that support bot improvement efforts and these will be powerful tools for conversational designers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I had the opportunity to take the developer training provided by Rulai. I found the Rulai platform powerful while keeping a clean UI. I really liked the simplicity/intuitiveness of building out flows to fairly granular level without needing to be a programmer.
I'd definitely recommend the tool to any business looking to connect with customers in different ways and become more efficient.. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
At this time I didn't see much that I didn't like. I am sure to find areas it can be improved after more use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I was part of Rulai's developer training, it allowed me to try the full features in Rulai. All is intuitive and feels comfortable to work with. The integrations with NodeJS to program more complex part are great! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The UI feels a bit "old", but works 100%. Some improvements in the UI/UX of configurations, global variables would be appreciated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Rulai is truly a revolutionary platform for chatbots. I am very satisfied having followed the chatbot designer training and I am happy to be able to work with a portal as fluid as the one offered by Rulai. I really recommend this platform to anyone who wants to implement a chatbot, it is the best platform I have been able to use so far! The teachers explain very well and take the time to explain, they are very available to answer any questions. It was a great experience! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing, everything was perfect and I am satisfied Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The console's UI is intuitive and easy to use. I was surprised at how easy it was to build my first chatbot with its drag-and-drop features. I was able to focus on designing the conversation more and less on the technical aspect. Its intelligence is impressive - it can context switch and accept user changes in the middle of a conversation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Can’t think of anything I dislike. I'm still learning and exploring additional capabilities. As a designer, I would like a way to easily share prototype with someone to quickly test an idea. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Have experienced the amazing conservational feature included in their chatbots Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have not found any disadvantages so far with my experience with Rulai Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really like the ease of use of the UI, the quick way to validate the WIP bot. This framework provides a good set of no/low code drag-and-drop options to build. A very useful nuance was an option to check Regex (an option to define entities) within the framework itself. Using stubs was another good option for providing input and checking the output. The built-in system intents provided quick start points, while add-ons were available to mask any inputs, if needed. The UI buttons can be controlled by logic using Dynamic buttons.
I also liked the way the flows would nest, with option to return to original flow after switching context. This feature greatly improves the near life-like feel to the conversation itself and thereby user engagement. The NLU itself also seems to be able to understand typical user flow and interaction. The NLU can detect entity alias and normalize bot output based on configuration.
The option to code using API throws open a wide range of possibilities ably supported on the inputs side from Web / Mobile or Text / Voice Gateway combinations to the output side where it can integrate effectively with FB messenger or Salesforce CRM or Whatsapp messenger too. A ready option to send transcript to an external service makes this detail readily available to customer or an external system like CRM or helpdesk.
I liked the Accelerators too and found that a very good option to grab detail from Websites to feed the Knowledge repository.
Analytics is an another area which seems to have a good level of detail already. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like to see Rulai to have potential suggestions from existing intents to minimize typos in custom code areas. Further what would help provide a jump start would be a mechanism to have ready template flows for various use cases and/or industry specific solutions to help customers rapidly deploy bots and accelerate time to market.
The multi-language functionality while available seems a little nascent and additional strength here would greatly improve number of use cases in countries like India. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easy to use interface, rich set of in-built features for developing intermediate to advanced chatbots, the integration options, Highly and naturally communicating ready-to-use features Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing much. Once, you started using this tools, I don't think, you'll prefer to use another tool for your bot development next time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
