One of the features I like best is Rise Visions accessible web-based design and it's integration with Canva. The website is accessible from my tablet and iPad, so I can manage content from home on the weekends. This may be common on similar platforms but after years of using a desktop-based system, I don't take it for granted.
I had some experience with Canva before using Rise Vision so being able to design or edit signs on the web site also was easy from the start. That's really helped with adding content editors who are familiar with Canva because they don't have to email me signs and make corrections easily there on the site.
I like being able to schedule some displays to power on and off and having them set up to email when they go offline is a definite plus on a large, urban campus of 11,000 people. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have been using Rise Vision for about six months, so with the stipulation that I might be missing something, I wish scheduling were a little easier. Once I sign is scheduled, I have to go into each schedule to set the display and expire times. It would be nice to have a box just pop up and ask if I wanted to set times for the sign on each schedule.
Also, I wish there was a way to link my personal Canva account, which I use for work, to the Rise Vision account. Sometimes I have content there I want to update or repurpose.
Finally, I wish there were more accessible training modules and videos. Maybe some YouTube content? I know there is some content on the site, but much of it seems geared toward other clients. It could be I haven't look hard enough though.
I will say my complaints are relatively minor, I think, and there's much, much more to like about Rise Vision there is to dislike. It's been a marked improvement over what we had. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The templates not only make creating presentations easy, they also look professional. On the templates themselves, you can add additonal components in order to customize the presentation to your needs. If you want to have more control over what the presentation looks like and functions as, Rise Vision has a "blank landscape" option where you can create your own presentations with functionality tailored for you. While there are exciting integration opportunities with Google Calendar, Social Media, and more, there are still a lack of templates that use Google Sheets. Rise Vision could be used with the TVs we had already purchased and being able to customize each tv with a different playlist was invaluable. I manage the signage across our community health centers and we are able to easily share events, highlight staff and services, or do general promotions. My IT staff were able to install within a few minutes and the admin interface is easy to use and they are constantly supplying me with engaging templates. I've needed customer support a couple of times and was blown away by their response time and resolution speed. We use the players each day in our clinic spaces and have been a great addition to make the space more engaging as well as cutting down on paper posters we are hanging. I love the ease of communicating with the pre-made presentation slides that are easily editable, colorful, inspirational and educational. I cannot tell you the number of comments I get from high schoolers. I love that we can use our old defunct tv for something so impactful, with minimal investment of time and $. I wish there was a way to distinguish between types of holidays/events. To hide things not celebrated in our country-for example Rememberance Day is unique to other countries. I love the calendar option for scheduling, but even more in advance is better for busy educators. I would love to schedule a Christmas countdown, when I have time to do it rather when the slide is made available a few days in advance of the holiday. I could schedule en masse for a month. It was very plug and play. We bought pre-configured players. Getting up and running was pretty easy and the website very intuitive. We had to do very little reading up to figure out how things worked. We like the tier structure that is provided via their concept of company and sub-companies. It is a way to allow some people control over a limited number of displays, with other having control over displays across multiple groups. We are able to post information to our students that is seen on a daily basis with the monitors mounted in our cafeteria. I believe the more they see the info, the more they are retaining.
Creating slides is very easy and loading them up is even easier.

There has been no downside to Rise Vision. We have had a very positive relationship. The only downside I would have mentioned was not being able to put a date range to run a slide....then I realized you can, and it has been so helpful!

Nothing so far it has been running smoothly since I've taken over responsibility for the software on campus. Even trained a couple of users on the essential functions. Been using Rise Vision for our displays for years now. It's always easy to update from any computer with a web browser. The pre-made templates make it so I don't have to spend hours trying to accomplish simple things to display. Customer service is spot on, representatives from Rise Vision keep in frequent contact with us even if we don't really need it, as the software seems to always work for us.
