The team messaging feature is my favorite tool. As our company has grown from 10 employees to 30+, communication becomes a real challenge. With direct messaging and team messaging, it make collaboration so much easier.
We also like the phone call handling features that RingCentral has, such as call transfer, call park, call queues, recording, etc.
Being able to seamlessly swap between devices, (desktop PC, mobile phone, and even desk phone), is great! It has been a great replacement for our NEC phone system.
We use the system daily, and the uptime has been 100%. We now have a backup internet connection that our network automatically rolls over to in the (too frequent) event when our main fiber internet goes down. There is a bit of a learning curve, as with anything new. The most difficult part of the change was getting our old analog paging horns connected. But once we had the correct adapter connected, it works fine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We like the features already available within the platform. We use the AI notes feature quite a bit with calls that come to our IT Dept as to get as much detail in our tickets as possible. I like that I can communicate wherever I am. Whether I am in any of our office buildings, on the road, or working from home and no matter if I am on my computer, tablet, or cell phone, I can reach my co-workers. customers, and vendors easily. I can call, text, fax, chat, or video chat all from the same app. I can also use almost any deskphone brand I want, too. At the moment our company reports are not accurate due to calls not being recorded correctly to what CSR is answering the phone. Analytics just show calls going to main customer service line and does not show who picked up that call. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The customer service is very good. When I need help they are very good at making sure the matter is resoved. The ease of use has been great and we use the system daily and it has quite a few features that are important to us. The robust library of onboarding videos have been so helpful to our staff to establish the phone lines. After the initial transfer we have had great support for any phone related issues that come up and have found the softphones to work wonderfully for our remote staff. The TCR SMS registration we were prepared to be difficult. The customer service team was helpful with ensuring our information was correct for the application but were unable to assist with an API error that prevented submission. This delayed the application submission for weeks. It took staff members following up constantly with fixes that didn't work from the dev team. It would be helpful in this instance for the dev team to schedule a call with the client so they can run through troubleshooting all in one go instead of hounding the customer service line for information that those representatives do not have.

RingCentral is simple to set up and has a wide range of flexibility for call flow setup. We use RingCentral MVP for small 2-person offices all the to large 100+ staff multi-site companies. The ability to use the main company number for both calls and faxing is also a great selling point as many clients do not want to maintain two separate numbers for calls and faxing. There seems to be a disconnect of service from the base support to second-tier, partner support. I appreciate having a partner account to get to the second-tier partner support as they are more knowledgeable and give me better issue resolution than the base support.
