This is a highly technical solution and needs to be trained staff with significant experience in the Telecom domain to install and maintain the network. The training programs are expensive, and the learning curve is high. Ribbon was oversold. When first implemented it was buggy, and promised functions made in the sales phase were continually pushed back. The functionality that did exist was buggy, and required significant troubleshooting from our end to solve as Ribbon did not want to dedicate the time or manpower to help us solve the issues.
