Cost is a little high for small companies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Tigerpaw clearly has a rich history of listening to its client's needs. The features it has and the areas it touches, this product clearly grew to meet the needs of the teams it was supporting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is important to note what kinds of teams this product has supported in the past: Copier Companies.
Certainly not the only vertical they served but is far and away the one who held the most sway. While Tigerpaw is trying to modernize and expand its reach with the 'One' overhaul, it is not enough to cover the clunky, tacked-on feature list that it totes.
Each feature feels added rather than baked in, and that directly translates to how unintuitive the GUI is to get around.
It is not optimized related to the human task you are trying to accomplish, rather there is a central basic ticket system and any interaction outside of it requires a winding path to produce results.
Much of this might be forgivable if the base ticket system was good, but unfortunately, this part of the program has been untouched all these years and remains as one of the worst pieces of the product.
It lacks any of the flexibility or advanced features such as CC'ing additional contacts, dynamic response fields, and a very poor email integration which discourages back-and-forth communication in favor of completely flat text boxes of information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have been using this product for over 15 years. I purchased it as a perpetual license and paid support. A few years ago, Tigerpaw decided they wanted to be a SaaS product, which they are not. They forced us into a per-user pricing model and gave us a "loyalty" discount. With the discount applied we were paying more than our typical support but not much more. Two years later, when they send a renewal quote, the pricing is now 3x more. Our company still hosts the application; we maintain the servers, bandwidth, and application in-house. They told me their price was not competitive with the market, and this is why they tripled it. Two months before we need to renew. This is not a SaaS product its old technology they want to sell as a SaaS product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The product demo is great, but most of the system isn't functional in the way they represent it. The marketing, emailing, etc., doesn't work; every time we try, it crashes the application, so we moved on to a functional marketing tool. Its a clunky product that appears to be fully integrated but you have to click through 10 screens to see the data you are looking for. It is not web-based; you need an RDP application to dial into it remotely. The app for technicians is limited. I would stay as far away from this company as possible or they may extort you by tripling your price as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Best feature is being able to see the group calendar of other coworkers. It's very useful when you are trying to shecule calls with your customer and engineer Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It does everything pretty well but doesnt do it excellent like salesforce. There is a tendency for the app to freeze and does not sync info very quickly Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the ability to email service orders directly from Tigerpaw. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike the lock feature if someone else has another Service Order open. If that person accidentally has it up on their screen and leaves, you’re unable to edit it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love Tigerpaw's people the best. They are truly passionate about bringing you the best product, and making sure that you succeed, whatever it takes. Every interaction I have had with someone has been genuinely amazing: professional, knowledgeable, kind, friendly. In (two) words: Outstanding People.
The software? Powerful and robust database. Tigerpaw has many valuable features for every aspect of your business, including sales, service, billing, and integration with accounting apps like SDA, Quickbooks and secure processing like BNG. I love that Tigerpaw values historical data, not allowing us to delete certain critical data.

Reports. We need to be able to make our own queries and create reports that are meaningful to us. The report options in Tigerpaw are limited and not (easily) editable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Central management. I am a Project Manager so I rely heavily on the Project module of Tigerpaw to oversee, manage, execute, and close out various projects from small to enterprise size clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Use and understanding of how to use features i.e. workflow notifications, or task notifications specific to a particular need or requirement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Tigerpaw is a useful software package because it manages our whole business with the exception of the Accounting end. However, there is a link to automatically export that information to Quickbooks and it works well. There are so many features, sometimes it is hard to know where to look for them, but once you get past the learning curve, it does a great job of tracking our business data for our service business. The scheduling it great for a group of technicians. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Tigerpaw does have bugs in the software that do not seem to get fixed quickly. Sometimes it will crash if you click on too many things too fast and feature requests don't get addressed very quickly. Their mobile app is useful, but not great. You can however access customer information and update tickets in the field, which is nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The compiled Tiger Paw code will run so fast as your client server corporate network will allow. The desktop interface presents an instantly loaded whole window to the end users. There is no need to wait for windows components to load. It’s an ergonomic classic design that allow you to interact without navigating to child windows. The system works independently of your enterprise internet speed or accessibility. The system database a is whole MS SQL server self-container that you could be migrated easily from one server to another without any effort. It runs well in physical and virtualized servers. There is not a resource file to switch to Other language than English. In Latin America for instance not all users are capable to read in English. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
