I like how Recorded Future is a complete package. Do you need a Sandbox to detonate malware sample and URLs? RF has it. Do you need to be up-to-date on the latest developments in Information Security? RF is doing that for us well. Do you need to build a threat intelligence process around triaging relevant events to your organization? We are doing that with the Alerts and Playbook alerts features in RF. I also love how you can specify what is relevant for you using the "Watchlist" feature - and you can go even one step further - Automate the updates of the Watchlists programatically so you triage events which are only relevant to your organization.
All this would've been difficult to build if it wasn't for the lightning fast support that they provide. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
All of these great features come with a cost, you have to pay a hefty amount for each API integration, so the licensing model is rather expensive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a cyber threat intelligence analyst, I find the risk rules for each vulnerability incredibly helpful in assessing criticality. I appreciate how rapidly I can research vulnerabilities and determine their relevance to my company. The sandboxing feature is great for safely exploring the dark web to find information from ransomware groups or other threat actors. There have been several instances where I’ve checked ransomware extortion pages to verify if leaked company data is legit. Customer support is extreamly friendly and we will be having frequent connect with respective POC. We are currently using IOC enrichment API to our XSIAM for effective usage which we are using it in daily baisis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Advanced Search should be easier to use and naviagate.
Sometime the volume of alerts can be overwhelming, tuning the tool takes time.
Also pricing is quite expensive, I feel. I would have to agree that there are lot of good than bad. With its few flaws also I would always prefer RF over most of the Tools available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I was impressed with the intelligence that Recorded Future had for my company. Dark web sources to identify compromised accounts was an immediate and easy use case to incorporate into the Service Desk. the vulnerability data was applicable and valuable to the enterprise. The Recorded Future onboarding team helped get us from received intelligence to actionable intelligence. We use Recorded Future on a daily basis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dont have much to complain about. I think most of the delays were a result of collecting data of our enterprise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Recorded Future's Attack Surface Intelligence and Third-Party Intelligence services have been instrumental in fortifying our cybersecurity posture. The depth and breadth of actionable insights provided by these tools are unparalleled, offering us a best-in-class experience that is hard to match. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While Recorded Future sets a high bar for cybersecurity intelligence, I've noticed that the timeline for product enhancements can sometimes be longer than expected. This can be slightly inconvenient, as staying ahead in cybersecurity often requires rapid adaptation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Recorded Future helps our team use its stretched resources to the maximum capacity. How much AI is implemented into the platform has drastically changed my perspective of using the platform. The AI function of the tool has allowed me to save time researching and collecting information that I can spend on formulating an intelligence product and the analysis that goes into it. The user interface is pretty straightforward and is very user-friendly. I have never had a problem go unsolved or not addressed by their support team. I have no problem using the modules we subscribe to every day because Recorded Future provides a living platform that is constantly updated with information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some of the alerts that we have set up with the platform can be noisy, and eliminating that noise can be difficult. I understand this is not just an RF issue; many platforms are dealing with this issue. I wish some of the industry alerts were more specific to the industry that I am in. Overall, I do not have many dislikes with the platform or the team at Recorded Future. They are a world-class organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Security Trails, Brand protection and the browser extension I use every day. The Sandbox Analysis is amazing and really helps in analyzing suspicious links/sites in excellent detail. The integration center is allowed me to ingest indicators and threat data directly into my SIEM. I also love the quarterly cadence calls with my customer success team to go over how things are going and what RF can do for me and what is coming down the pipeline. The only 2 downsides I can think of is my concern for the recent purchase by MasterCard and then I end up going deep down the rabbit hole at times because there is so much correlated data and threat intel to go through, but that's my fault for being OCD. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Their customer service is best compare to other threat intel platforms Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
the cost of the platform can be a significant barrier for smaller organizations. While the value provided by Recorded Future is substantial, the pricing structure may not be feasible for all budgets Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
RF's platform is easy to use, moderately easy to integrate into other systems and does an excellent job of making a vast amount of data and information digestable and accessable.
Customer support and engagement is stellar, with updates about new features, advice on how to optimise use of current licenses and tailored suggestions based on current activity and threats. They are not just trying to sell more to you, as some vendors do.
(Context; I use the tool repeatedly on a daily basis). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some issues with connections to other platforms. Support have generally been willing, but some issues have persisted. They are minor and have generally been easy to work around while fixes are developed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
