From the very beginning of the process of rebuilding our website, we felt cared for. They heard us, and unlike other shops, actually listened and did not foist a cookie-cutter design on our magazine. RM is attentive, creative, and have an entire team focused on YOU during each leg of the process. Our new platform is not only gorgeous, but highly functional and is driving tons of new traffic. We're getting as much attention afterward: the team is identifying new SEO opportunities and is only a click away for tech support. I will be the first to admit I am a technology dinosaur … but I know one of the key elements to a successful website is speed. But, as someone who raced Ferraris, I can tell you it is more than having speed … it is knowing what to do with it. RebelMouse and its content management system (CMS) combines best practices, a proactive (versus reactive) approach to the constantly changing aspects of SEO and social media platforms, and offers features and functionality that I would not have thought available to smaller companies without requiring expensive customization. (Yet will be scalable as our online presence grows.) And, they do all that with a team of people who are genuinely interested in their customers' success. They took the time to understand our business and objectives before offering creative ideas. When you race, yes, you need a fast car and an experienced driver ... but, it takes an entire team to succeed, and I am thrilled that RebelMouse is part of our team. After years of publishing a website on our own, and stumbling through the forest blindly, we finally found the team at RebelMouse and it changed our lives. To have a great tech stack AND a knowledgeable team of strategists, developers, and project managers is a game changer. They bring the strengths of a large publisher (large datasets, expertise, lessons learned from trial and error, close relationships with search and ad platforms) to smaller publishers. During the build and launch, the team went above and beyond to ensure we were happy with the new site, and they flawlessly migrated over 20,000 articles. I can't recommend them highly enough. My only negative is that I wish we'd migrated sooner. Like five years ago.

But to make this not sound like a paid review, I suppose the geographically distributed workforce can make scheduling a meeting a little harder? For a relatively small organization with a big web footprint, what's best about RebelMouse is that we can maintain full-service web development—from security, design, SEO optimization, integrations, performance reviews, etc.—without the enormous in-house commitment or reliance on various third-party contractors or services. There are no major downsides to RebelMouse after over a year working with them. We are nearly a year into launch of our site and that was preceded by a 4-month onboarding process that was professional, efficient, and hit all the marks. The formatting of the emails from their internal system is offputting to me, but I think that is more of a zendesk thing. I will often read it and it look overwhelming with so much text so I don't read it, but then need to come back to it later. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
