Easy to use viewer interface, customizable options with built-in AD group controls, but also provide cloud connect capability when needed. My company's primary remote control tool for over a decade now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Being a long time customer, the cost has gone up a good amount, BUT still better than most of the competition. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One of the key strengths of RealVNC is its user-friendly interface. The software is intuitive, making it easy for both beginners and experienced users to navigate. The setup process is easy, requiring minimal configuration.
The connection is stable, and I've experienced minimal lag, even when working with resource-intensive applications like CAD work. It supports various platforms, including Windows, macOS, and Linux, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of devices. One feature of RealVNC that I love is its cloud connectivity, allowing users to access their remote desktops from anywhere with an internet connection. This flexibility is particularly useful for professionals who need to access their work machines while on the go. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While RealVNC offers a free version for personal use, the business licenses can be relatively expensive for larger organizations. Some businesses may find the pricing less competitive compared to alternative remote access solutions. Users may also encounter occasional problems when configuring firewalls or routers for optimal performance. While the support documentation is there, some users might find the initial setup a bit technical.
The free tier doesn't have much technical support, but I suppose that okay. Since its free. I do use it frequently and have had a relavtively problem free time. But if something does go wrong, fixing can be a hassle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use RealVNC to manage my small home network, which has always worked flawlessly!
Works like a charm where Microsoft RDC is not available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have no complaints at all. RealVNC is an amazing tool! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

VNC was easy to set up. Once the client side is configured, the connection is always there on the launcher, ready to go. I can connect almost immediately without end-user intervention. I have great controls from the toolbar such as sending CTRL+ALT+DEL, which is good when I'm using VNC through a remote session of my own. I can switch monitors or view all simultaneously. It stays connected through reboots, which is better than baked beans at a BBQ. VNC is one of those tools that you didn't know you needed but can't let it go. It makes remote administration just so much easier, especially on headless PCs. I have used ConnectWise and I feel that VNC is smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have used ConnectWise in the past and I feel like ConnectWise offered better information and logistics about a remote system. Maybe it is designed more for the MSP market, but the version of VNC I use lacks some of those tools that can really bring the whole package of remote administration, logistics, inventory, and information. I've been using RealVNC for over 3.5 years (since start of the pandemic), and I am amazed that it really has never given me a single issue. That is truly something to say. The service is consistent and pretty fast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think the login system is just a tad complicated, but honestly do not have suggestions to make it better! I think it just comes with the territory of VPN. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The fact that it is secure and is multi-platform. The software allows me to securely connect to my clients to provide support wherever I may be, either through an internet-connected PC or even through my cell phone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Occasionally when trying to connect to a client for support, I will get an error stating that the client is not accepting connections at the moment, or I will be greeted with a completely black screen. Generally, reconnecting resolves these issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
