RealGreen Systems is the maker of Service Assistant™, the all-in-one field management software for businesses with a fleet of vehicles that need to schedule, quote, dispatch, route, collect payments, track vehicles, communicate in field, and more. It is used by many industries including lawn care, landscape, pest control, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, construction, waste management, carpet and residential cleaning, snow removal, tree service and many more. With Service Assistant and its modules, both office staff and techs in the field use the same integrated software to make work flow as effortlessly as possible. Gone are the days of entering data from the field at the end of the day. This tool was designed to make it super easy to run your business. Use the software to schedule customer appointments, create line item work orders, plan daily routes in minutes, estimate on site or even in the office, collect instant payments or set up accounts for prepays, installments and auto-pay and even track vehicle maintenance and locations. Service Assistant parameters can be customized to function the way you need it to work. Use Service Assistant for seamless operations, but love it for its ingenious features such as custom reports, financial integration and automated marketing. There are over 130 different reports available, not counting letters. Find out in layman’s terms how your transactions (production, payments, adjustments, installments) get reported to your accounting program. Use the extremely powerful mail merge tool and automated marketing module to enhance customer communication with auto-generated client letters and emails. What do you like best about RealGreen by WorkWave?

It is online so I can access it from other computers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RealGreen by WorkWave?

The software since going online has some upside, the performance is much worse (glitches) and service is poor as I am now expected to do my own I T work when a problem occurs not of my doing! Not pleased that the price is going up almost 10% for poor service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When working properly it sped up monthly statements, but I can no longer do that as there has been an unresolved glitch I can not fix in the email portion & not receiving help! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

RealGreen does not have a ton of solutions for the invoicing issues I have had. The only good thing is the routing. The program itself is very basic, but they seem to make the steps to retireve info and setting up a feet a path to failure Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about RealGreen by WorkWave?

They can do mail out marketing; emailing customers individualized pricing is doable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RealGreen by WorkWave?

The customer service is the worst. They don't care about you, at all. The training is insane, short snippet videos where you can't even read the words. For as complex of a system as this is to set up, better training is essential. I called so many times to get help and still ended up with more of a mess than I would have liked. Why did I even have to call SO MANY TIMES? So we let our contract expire (had to fight for weeks to get our data to convert to another program)....asked just to get a copy of our pricing tables and they told us NO unless we wanted to sign another contract. Then payments ran for a few days after our contract was up. Put in a call to billing and a tech support ticket and got CRICKETS for 4 months. Finally sent a smarmy email and got a call back today from a women still defending the charges, claiming they didn't charge a monthly fee (which they did). It's not worth the fight. They will not be helpful in any regard whatsoever, which is a hard pill to swallow considering they're twice as expensive as the program we use now. So, I decided to review them EVERYWHERE and let everyone know. RUN AWAY FROM REALGREEN!!!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about RealGreen by WorkWave?

I like the partnerships with different platforms like captivated and service bot. I have been utilizing texting services a lot more and SA5 makes it easy to send mass or individual text. I wish it would make an automatic call log for text messages sent and received in the client's account. Texting has been a game changer for sales. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RealGreen by WorkWave?

The new work wave payment processing platform is difficult to navigate. That transition has been very smooth or easy to understand. The webinar about the new payment platform was not to helpful. Im finding it difficult to make sure transactions are going through now that everything is done from SA5. It has also been difficult to get good customer service on these issues. What do you like best about RealGreen by WorkWave?

I have been using Real Green for 20 years. I started as a lawn technician, then Production Manager, then Marketing Director, then I started a fertilizing company and have owned it for 8 years now.

I like how they still have a competitive edge on all their competitors. I still think they are the best software for a lawn fertilizing company. I have done demos with all Real Green competitors and they still have the most options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RealGreen by WorkWave?

I dislike how Real Green has been getting worse over the last 5 years. They keep bringing out new products that don't work 100% right, which is really frustrating. I like the concepts of the new products, but if they don't work correctly it creates many more problems. I feel like they are growing too fast and need to focus more on customer service. The last couple problems/glitches we have submitted have not been resolved. I like the idea of the new Work Wave payment processing but the rollout was horrible. As soon as the transition happened, there were a lot of credit card charge issues we had to deal with, costing our companies lots of frustration. We can't even login without going incognito.
