I like all the automated features of Ramp, especially since they save me and our employees a significant amount of time when uploading receipts and categorizing transactions for purchases. This feature is particularly beneficial for the operations and accounting department as it alleviates a lot of the workload. I also love how clean and user-friendly the interface is, which makes it incredibly straightforward for new employees to familiarize themselves with Ramp. This aspect is crucial for our nonprofit organization as it facilitates an efficient onboarding process. Additionally, the ease with which Ramp connects to our bank account for bill pay and reimbursements adds to the convenience. The tutorial videos provided were very easy to follow, contributing to Ramp being extremely easy to set up. Finally, the cash-back rewards empower us to stretch our dollars and give back to our staff, which is crucial in the nonprofit realm. I am so impressed with Ramp that I frequently recommend it to others.

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

I would like Ramp to improve its mileage reimbursement feature by allowing multiple trips to be logged at the same time.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

I like Ramp because it's incredibly easy to use and accessible, allowing anyone to use it with ease. I am impressed by the speed at which transactions appear in the app—almost instantaneously after I swipe my card, which addresses bookkeeping issues effectively. This immediacy, combined with the capability to upload receipts in less than a minute, makes accounting tasks significantly simpler. I appreciate the feature that allows me to upload invoices and receipts directly, and I find it particularly useful that Ramp can sync with my email to automatically link any receipts I might have forgotten about. The initial setup was quite easy, thanks to Ramp’s excellent support team, who helped us smoothly get everything organized for each team member.

  ### 4. Streamlined Financial Tracking with minimal Challenges

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jan F.

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

I love the ease of use and flexibility that Ramp offers, allowing me to make changes on the fly, such as easily turning on and off features as needed. This is incredibly valuable when managing employee access, as I can quickly add or remove access for employees when they come and go. I also appreciate the ability to provision new team members efficiently, empowering them to make purchasing decisions without delays. The setup process was super easy, and we were able to get up and running very quickly, which made the transition smooth. Overall, these features contribute significantly to more efficient financial management and enhanced operational control within our organization.

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

Sometimes it's difficult when we lose a receipt because the manual override is set for receipts to be required, and this locks the cards. The process to override this, when a receipt is lost, is cumbersome and requires a significant amount of effort.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ramp simplifies expense tracking and document collection, speeding up book closure. It offers ease of use by enabling quick access changes for employees and empowering purchasing decisions, which enhances operational efficiency.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emma L.

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

I love how Ramp is seamlessly integrated into our accounting processes. It offers a variety of backend features that provide ample choices, like deciding where to charge expenses and updating accounting details. This flexibility is incredibly beneficial for our operations. Another excellent aspect is that Ramp is a free option, which is incredibly cost-effective and works perfectly for our small nonprofit organization. Additionally, the platform’s integration with QuickBooks Online is smooth and efficient, saving us significant time and effort. Overall, its intuitiveness and efficiency stand out, streamlining our credit card reconciliation and bill payment tasks effortlessly.

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

I wish there was an easier way to create categories for expenses similarly to how you can create trips. The current options feel more limited - e.g., I wish I could easily mark charges that are reimbursable by a partner organization

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Ramp to streamline credit card management, accounting, and bill pay, integrating seamlessly with QuickBooks to save time and improve efficiency for our nonprofit.

  ### 7. Instant Notifications Make Expense Management Effortless

  ### 10. Easy Approvals and Slack Integration, but Reliability Outages Hold Ramp Back

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Aviation & Aerospace | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

Ramp makes the approval flow really easy, and the notifications are reliable. The functionality of Ramp does what it says its going to, and it integrates with Slack

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

Ramp will often go offline completely. The performance is no reliable in that manner. A professional software should not have access issues multiple times through a year.

I have not found AI features of use

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reimbursements for business travel spending mainly.

**Official Response from Tony Rios:**

> Hi, would love to understand more on where we may be falling short with regards to app performance. Please feel free to drop us an email at feedback@ramp.com so we can better understand where things may be returning errors. Thanks in advance!

  ### 11. User-Friendly Design That Everyone Welcomed

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jodi B. | CFO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

The user-friendly design made it possible for nearly everyone in our company to adopt the software organically. Instead of dreading the change, people actually welcomed it.

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

It's difficult to find much to dislike, but if I had to mention something, I would say that the navigation menus on the left side, from an administrator's perspective, could be organized in a different way. However, once I became familiar with where everything is located, navigating the system became straightforward.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have done away with our previous expense reporting process. Now, employees submit their own expenses for reimbursement and receive payment as soon as a manager approves them. By integrating with our accounting software, we have significantly reduced the number of steps required to reimburse an employee.

  ### 12. Effortless Expense Management and Real-Time Tracking

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

What I appreciate most about Ramp is how it simplifies managing company expenses. It is so easy to use Ramp. The ability to instantly create virtual cards, add funds as needed, and approve spending directly from the dashboard eliminates the hassle of waiting for paperwork to be processed. This not only saves a significant amount of time but also provides a transparent view of where and how money is being spent. The automatic receipt uploads and real-time tracking features are especially useful, as they remove the need to chase down receipts or wonder about the purpose of certain charges. Overall, Ramp streamlines and organizes the entire spending process.

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

There isn’t much to complain about, but a few minor issues do come to mind. Customizing the reports could be more straightforward. New users sometimes feel unsure about which card or budget to select when they first log in, which can cause a bit of confusion. However, these are just minor learning-curve challenges. Overall, this is still a significant improvement over how we managed expenses in the past.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ramp has significantly simplified our spending management, particularly because our corporate office is located far from most of our employees. Previously, providing staff with funds for supplies or minor purchases often resulted in delays, reimbursements, or waiting for someone at the office to process requests. With Ramp, we can now instantly create virtual cards, allocate funds, and approve expenses immediately—eliminating the need for back-and-forth emails or unnecessary waiting.

Additionally, Ramp has improved our budget control, as all transactions update in real time. Managers are able to monitor spending, set limits, and track receipts without having to follow up repeatedly. Overall, Ramp has made the entire process faster, more transparent, and much less stressful for everyone involved.

  ### 13. Intuitive Platform with Stellar Support and Unique Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mia S. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

I like Ramp because they have a great customer support team. The approval process is quick and underwrites based on business credit rather than personal credit. The platform is very intuitive and easy to use, and there are frequent new releases with new functionality. Ramp offers a free interface that stands out from all of their competitors, who are paid for and more clunky.

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

I wish their interface was available on the mobile app for easy invoice approvals. It's not convenient for clients who aren't always by their computer.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ramp improves controls on paying bills and visibility on spend, enhances IRS compliance for 1099 management, and ensures vendor compliance and receipt tracking.

  ### 14. Good Features, Needs Improvement on Document Handling

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wendy M.

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

I really appreciate the drag and drop feature in Ramp; it simplifies handling invoices significantly, making it an incredibly efficient tool for managing my accounts payable tasks. I also enjoy the reminder emails, which help me stay on top of tasks that require attention. Furthermore, I'm impressed with the ability to split bills, not just limited to credit cards, which provides flexibility in financial management. Overall, Ramp offers an ease of use that stands out, providing a straightforward and effective approach to managing expenses.

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

{"I have issues with the AI in Ramp, as it tends to change documents after I've entered them and modifies bank account details without prompt.","The removal of the drag-and-drop feature for specific documents like W9s, COIs, or Waivers is a significant inconvenience because it makes the process more time-consuming.","I find Ramp's report generation capabilities limited, which forces me to continue using Daxko for necessary reports that I can't produce in Ramp."}

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Ramp simplifies accounts payable with its drag-and-drop feature and integrated invoicing, but encounter issues with AI changing documents and limitations on document types I can upload.

**Official Response from Tony Rios:**

> Hi Wendy, thanks for your feedback with regards to the drag and drop features and AI updates! It looks like this was a potential regression, and we've just pushed a fix for this. If you still see this issue persist, please drop me a line over at tony@ramp.com!

I'd also love to connect on how we can improve our core reporting capabilities and understand what you and the team are looking for that can't be exported today!

Reimbursements and expense reporting.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex C.

**Reviewed Date:** December 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

I specifically like the user interface of Ramp because it makes it very easy for all departments to use. Its integration with NetSuite is fantastic and it automates tedious mapping, which makes for an easier monthly close. The initial setup of Ramp was very smooth, and I also appreciate how it uses credit card transactions to automatically create vendors, unlike Brex, which could only do journal entries in NetSuite. Additionally, I find the automation of all aspects of accounting very beneficial for our company transactions.

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

Sometimes the site speed is slow. When going through hundreds of transactions, it seems the site slows down.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ramp automates all accounting aspects and eases monthly close by handling tedious mapping, creating vendors using credit card transactions, and offering smooth NetSuite integration.

**Reviewed Date:** August 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

Makes accounting easy and users (admins and employees) find it easy it use and instills a high level of compliance and accounting reporting standards throughout organization. The Ramp team has thought of everything before I can even ask. As a CPA I find Ramp to be one of the best tools I've used. It is a mandatory tool for any company or controller that wants efficient accounting operations. I like how flexible the tools and policies are that I can create within Ramp. It also has many neat features I don't have enough time to discuss. One of them is I can set alerts via email if a transaction is over a certain dollar value or is executed on the weekend so we can investigate as needed. I am also limit how credit card spend it used by only allowing certain merchants or merchant categories on the card set up.

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

I don't have any dislikes at the moment. When I do find something I dislike, I ask my CSM to put in a product update. Their Ramp Travel feature still needs more work to build it out, but I am happy to wait for it. I already implemented it. Great value.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ramp solves the problem of wasted time spent on month end close in SO many ways. Ramp automates credit card coding and syncing transactions perfectly to speed up our credit card reconciliation process. For AP, there are so many helpful tools from getting everything pre-popluated by Ramp (GL codes, ACH info, etc) and the sync works great. I love how everything related to spend we have consolidated into one singal platform. Makes it easy for me to control and easy for my employees to know where to go.

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

I love that Ramp offers zero friction in its usage and the interface is super intuitive. It's 0% frustrating, unlike other products that have too many steps or are structured too much around data, instead of optimal usage. For me, Ramp is a lot more convenient compared to what we were using before, which was Abacus for expense reimbursement.

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

For hotel stay, I still need a physical card to present for incidentals, so I have to use my own personal card. If Ramp had the option for physical cards, it would be added value.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Ramp for business expenses like AI tools and travel with zero friction, thanks to an intuitive interface. It's a lot more convenient than Abacus. Adding physical cards for incidentals would be a bonus.

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

I have been using Ramp for four years, primarily for reporting my expenses. I love how it simplifies the expense reporting process by scanning receipts and extracting the needed information for reimbursement. The feature that allows the scanning and itemizing of all charges in an easy-to-understand format is incredibly helpful. Additionally, Ramp is very easy to use, uncomplicated, and quick, making it efficient for reporting my expenses. The itemizing feature from receipts into a clear, easy-to-understand format enhances its usability. These features have been instrumental in streamlining my expense reporting process, and I appreciate the ease and speed it offers.

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

I find it challenging that Ramp doesn't have the ability to read receipts from different countries outside the United States that are not in the English language.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Ramp simplifies my expense reporting by scanning receipts, extracting needed information, and itemizing details easily, making the process quick and uncomplicated.

  ### 30. Streamlined Credit Card Management with Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** JoeMax T.

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

I find Ramp to be exceptionally intuitive and all-inclusive for managing our corporate credit card needs. The streamlined credit card process is a significant improvement over our previous cumbersome method of manual spreadsheets and paper reports. I love how every transaction immediately prompts a text message or email notification, allowing for the capture of receipts on the spot, eliminating the need for additional logging. This immediate recording and ease of use make Ramp simple and efficient for anyone handling a card. The user-friendly website makes setting up new card users or requesting and receiving new cards straightforward, which I greatly appreciate. The app complements this user-friendliness, allowing receipt uploads at one's convenience, adding to its flexibility and ease of access. Additionally, Ramp's integration with QuickBooks facilitates seamless financial management, ensuring I can track and verify expenses efficiently. The transition from our previous basic card service to Ramp was a major upgrade, especially with the added benefit of cashback, which we did not get before. Overall, Ramp provides a comprehensive solution for credit card expense management beyond just offering a piece of plastic, and I highly recommend it.

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

I would like to see an increase in the current cashback percentage offered by Ramp. Currently, we receive a 1% cashback, and it would be beneficial to have a higher rate, possibly 1.5% or 2%.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ramp streamlines the credit card process, eliminating manual tracking with instant notifications and easy receipt recording, improving efficiency for users and administrators.

  ### 31. Easy to Use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dana R. | Human Resources Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

I love that you can text receipts, the interface supports Google SSO, the web app looks the same as the mobile app (both optimized) so there isn't anything that is confusing about going between the two. I love the drag and drop feature to add documents and also it is easy to replace documents.

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

This may not be an issue for RAMP specifically, but VoIP systems like RingCentral do not allow SMS between marketing numbers (5 digit numbers) so I have to use my personal phone number to submit expenses.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy to reconcile the spend on my company card with appropriate account coding. It used to take me an hour to copy receipts, enter coding in a spreadsheet and then send the file to our book keeper. It woudl happen after we received our statements unless we signed up for online account access to audit throughout the month. With Ramp I can complete this task and real time and prevent a backlog of tracking.

  ### 32. Fast Receipt Logging, But Inconsistent Payoff Timing

  ### 37. Ramp’s AI Features Set the Standard in Finance Platforms

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

Ramp has rolled out some of the best and most impactful AI features of any of the accounting and finance platforms that we work with. Nearly every feature that was lacking when we started with ramp two years ago has since been released and improved upon. Integration with Sage Intacct has been a breeze and works very well.

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

The only feature that is missing would be administrators access to "try" other permission sets in order to help configure the platform for company-wide usage. Beyond that, the only disapointment has been with the international wire partner, Wise, which kept flagging a high percentage of international payments as suspicious. We had to discontinue using the international payments feature due to how burdensome it was becoming to provide supplemental support to Wise.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ramp has been an easy to use platform that was enthusiastically adopted by our organization. It makes collecting receipt support and invoice approval simple and efficient. having one platform that syncs to our ERP system natively to handle both expense reporting and bill pay has made a world of difference compared to our legacy processes.

  ### 38. User-Friendly and Efficient for Reimbursement Submissions

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

I find Ramp not that hard to use, which makes it user-friendly for me. I also appreciate the efficiency it provides in handling tasks like submitting a reimbursement request for my job. The initial setup process was easy, allowing me to get started without any hassle.

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

Nothing really.

I use Ramp to submit reimbursement requests efficiently. It's not hard to use.

  ### 39. All-in-One Solution with Outstanding Support and Intuitive Design

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

I like the all in one nature of Ramp, using them as corporate cards, and accounts payable has been incredible for our team. All of their UI/UX is really well done and their team is really great to work with, I've had support tickets answered by them super quickly, and that's been super helpful.

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

There are times that the platform can be buggy. Not in any way that makes it un usable but in ways that do become frustrating at times.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ramp solved the problem of costly platforms that didn't have the functionality that we needed. So it's managing all of our Accounts Payable and Employee issued corporate cards. Which having all of them in a solution where employees feel the ease of use has been incredible.

What I appreciate most about Ramp is how straightforward it is to monitor purchases and handle expenses. The process of adding new credit cards for team members is also very easy, which helps save a significant amount of time. Additionally, the anti-theft protection is a major advantage. A few years ago, my credit card was stolen, but Ramp quickly identified the problem, ensuring I didn’t lose any money.

Honestly, I have no significant complaints about Ramp. It has consistently worked smoothly for both me and my team.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Barry R. | T, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

I find that Ramp significantly improves efficiency in my work, primarily through the considerable time savings in expense reporting and travel booking. Tasks that previously accounted for 10 to 15% of my work week now only take up about 5%, which represents a roughly 30% reduction in the time I spend on these tasks. I also appreciate the ease of use of Ramp's initial interface, which made the setup and adoption process smooth. The mobile app for expense reporting is incredibly valuable, allowing me to manage expenses without hassle, and the ability to book travel from anywhere adds to its convenience. Due to these benefits, I feel confident recommending Ramp to others, as reflected in my high recommendation score of nine.

  ### 43. Streamlined Expense Management, Needs Better Account Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amir K.

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

I appreciate how Ramp has significantly enhanced efficiency by reducing the time spent on administrative tasks, making things run smoother for us. The integration capabilities are another standout feature as Ramp seamlessly connects with NetSuite and Rippling, allowing for a cohesive workflow that ties everything back to project expenses. I love the simplicity of Ramp's setup process; it wasn't challenging to implement as it was more about how we wanted to set up processes rather than migrating existing systems. The user interface is another aspect I highly value, as it’s very intuitive and simplifies the end user experience. Users can handle expenses on the spot with features like immediate expense justification, receipt attachment, and project assignment, which I find incredibly time-saving. Receiving real-time notifications and being able to complete expense reports using the mobile app, desktop, or even via text, enhances user convenience and efficiency. Additionally, I am enthusiastic about the potential for Ramp to improve travel management, which I expect will further streamline operations and enhance user experiences within our organization.

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

I find that account management could be improved. I haven't heard from our account manager in a very long time. Although I don't really need them due to the platform's ease of use, regular check-ins and monthly updates are always appreciated. I reached out to them today just to confirm if they are still our account manager.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ramp enhances efficiency by reducing time on administrative tasks, improves organization in expense management, and offers seamless integration with ERP systems, benefiting our team significantly.

  ### 44. Automated Expense Reconciliation, Effortless UI

💡 5. Insights & Savings Opportunities
Why It’s Loved:
Ramp helps identify duplicate software subscriptions, unused licenses, and negotiation opportunities.

Has a built-in savings insights dashboard, which can flag wasteful spend.

✅ Benefit:
Acts like a spend consultant baked into the platform—leading to real cost savings.

🎯 6. User-Friendly Interface
Why It’s Loved:
Clean, modern UI that’s easier to use than legacy systems (e.g. Concur, Expensify).

Employees can submit receipts or manage cards in a few taps via web or mobile.

✅ Benefit:
Reduces training and support burden—employees actually use the tool as intended.

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

🔄 1. Limited Customization for Complex Workflows
Issue:
While Ramp is streamlined and easy to use, some users find it less flexible for complex approval chains, multi-entity setups, or unique accounting rules.

Custom routing or nuanced workflows may require workarounds.

⚠️ Impact:
May not meet the needs of larger or highly-regulated enterprises with more advanced requirements.

🔢 2. Limited International Support
Issue:
Ramp is currently U.S.-only, with limited functionality for international vendors, currencies, or employees.

Foreign transactions are subject to FX fees and may have compliance issues.

⚠️ Impact:
Not ideal for global teams or companies with international operations or suppliers.

💵 3. No Credit or Float Options
Issue:
Ramp is a charge card, meaning the balance must be paid in full every month.

Unlike traditional credit cards, it doesn’t offer payment terms, financing, or revolving credit.

⚠️ Impact:
Not suitable for startups or businesses looking for cash flow flexibility through credit lines.

📉 4. Analytics Are Good, but Not Deep
Issue:
Ramp’s analytics provide useful high-level insights but lack the depth of dedicated financial planning tools.

Some users report limited ability to customize reports or create granular spend forecasts.

⚠️ Impact:
Finance teams may need to export data and work externally in Excel or FP&A tools.

🧾 5. Receipt Enforcement Sometimes Too Rigid
Issue:
Ramp is very strict with receipt policies; it automatically locks cards if receipts aren’t submitted within a set time.

While this enforces compliance, it can feel inflexible or punitive for some users.

⚠️ Impact:
Can disrupt workflows if cards are paused for minor or delayed compliance issues.

📱 6. Mobile App Limitations
Issue:
While improving, the mobile app lacks full desktop parity, particularly for administrators.

Some users find mobile card issuance or approvals slightly clunky.

⚠️ Impact:
Less ideal for finance teams or execs who work frequently from mobile.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

💰 1. Manual, Slow Expense Management
The Problem:
Traditional expense systems require:

Manually submitting receipts and reports

Approvals through email

Time-consuming reconciliation by finance teams

How Ramp Solves It:
Automates receipt collection via email and SMS

Categorizes and flags spend automatically

Lets admins approve or deny in real-time

Syncs directly to accounting tools (e.g. QuickBooks, NetSuite)

✅ Benefit to You:

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

I like the texting aspect of Ramp, which is super helpful when I'm traveling. It sends me a text message about the expense, allowing me to just text back a picture of the receipt and a comment to complete the transaction requirements. This makes it really easy to keep track of expenses and receipts on the go.

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**
