Product Description

Grow more. Waste less. Ramp started out as a better corporate card with spend management software designed to help companies spend less, not more. Since then, the platform has grown to help modern businesses run all aspects of their finance operations, including expense management, accounts payable, procurement, accounting automation, and more. Through it all, our core mission is unchanged: save time and money for our customers to help them build more successful, profitable businesses.

How do you position yourself against your competitors?

No other company gives finance teams instant access to powerful software that allows them to confidently manage their entire flow of business spend in real time.

For too long, companies have suffered with siloed card and expense management solutions, creating inefficient, burdened finance teams that lacked an automated and tightly coupled system of reporting and control. Employees outside finance were saddled with monotonous, low-value work. It's time for a better way.

At Ramp we are creating the best version of finance operations with a corporate card anchored by software that generates efficiency and savings with every swipe.

What do you like best about Ramp?

Ramp is easy to use and works through both a mobile app and desktop. It links directly to my instance of Sage with additional user defined dimensions. Most improtantly, RAMP delivered what they promised. Implementation was a breeze. We get prompt responses from our assigned representative. We have about 100 users and can set up multiple levels of approval. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ramp?

I don't really have anything about RAMP I dislike. It is a great tool Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?

Users are able to instantly submit a copy of the receipt via text message when they use the card. This has taken us from receiving about 5% of receipts to closer to 100%. Users can ask for limit increases, which facilitates the employee in the field, preventing jobs from shut down. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Ramp?

Our company has been using Ramp for about 1 1/2 years now. In general, our users prefer it over our prior solution and Accounting likes the integration with Sage Intacct, as well as the ability to easily get information downloaded to Excel Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ramp?

On the downside, we are a multi entity company, and one charge can not be split between multiple legal entities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?

We've issued multiple virtual cards to our users, and Ramp makes this easier than our prior solution, which required a physical card to be issued, and we therefore kept a strict limit on those card issuances. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As they are trying to improve the system (which is great) the layout does change fairly often but its easy to navigate but I do like consistency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?

Having all Credit Card expenses in one place where each cardholder is responsible of uploading their own receipts and their own memos without having to keep track of bank statements and an excel sheet. All the information is in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Ramp?

With Ramp, you don't need to wait for the end of the month to batch, employees can submit expenses/credit card transactions as they happen. This eliminates much of the time crunch that happens at month end with getting employees to submit receipts on a timely basis. Ramp also takes care of reminding employees that if they have missing items. Customer support is wonderful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ramp?

When the statements cut, we only have 2 days to wrap up all transaction, instead of a week or more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Ramp?

Previously, we used Amex coupled with separate spend management platforms. We tried Concur but cancelled before implementation was over it was so bad. We used Zoho for a while and it was OK and met our needs reasonably well. Ramp is great since it combines the functions of a corporate credit card with an easy to use expense management platform. Users getting hit with a text as soon as a purchase is made to upload the receipt is a great feature. The team loves it and it increases compliance. Automatic trip detection and bundling of expenses for the trips works surprisingly well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ramp?

The reporting interfaces are oddly difficult to manage and navigate. We have to pull down certain reports as part of our monthly and quarterly closes and it's always a challenge to remember exactly how to recreate the same export. This could be a bit better. Similarly, as an admin, the nav bar is seemingly comingled between my needs as a user vs my needs as an admin. Separate entrance points depending upon what I need to do would simplify things. I do like the bundling of trip expenses. However, the travel manager lacks a key feature we need before implementing. We need manager approval for trips. Currently, there is no method for a manager to review a team member's travel request apart from just approving the spend. This could be improved but it may meet the needs of others as is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?

Ramp makes it much easier for us to get the receipts for transactions on our coporate cards. For those outside of the card, employees can get reimbursed super fast. And conversely, they can repay the company fast for erroneous transactions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
