Product Description

Grow more. Waste less. Ramp started out as a better corporate card with spend management software designed to help companies spend less, not more. Since then, the platform has grown to help modern businesses run all aspects of their finance operations, including expense management, accounts payable, procurement, accounting automation, and more. Through it all, our core mission is unchanged: save time and money for our customers to help them build more successful, profitable businesses.

How do you position yourself against your competitors?

No other company gives finance teams instant access to powerful software that allows them to confidently manage their entire flow of business spend in real time.

For too long, companies have suffered with siloed card and expense management solutions, creating inefficient, burdened finance teams that lacked an automated and tightly coupled system of reporting and control. Employees outside finance were saddled with monotonous, low-value work. It's time for a better way.

At Ramp we are creating the best version of finance operations with a corporate card anchored by software that generates efficiency and savings with every swipe.

What do you like best about Ramp?

I love getting cash back for purchases we make already, without having to use a credit card. I also love how easy it makes to document our expenses, since you can upload receipts for each purchase. It's super easy to use as a small business owner, even if you're really busy and don't have a dedicated finance department. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ramp?

I wish they had a treasury management feature! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?

Ramp lets us earn cash back on the purchases we make already. It also helps us track and document our expenses much more effectively than what we were doing before. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Ramp?

Church/non-profit friendly! Until you have had to search high and low for a card that you can use for your non-profit, you won't understand. It is incredibly user friendly and everyone was able to learn it quickly. Training multiple people of different generations was easy. It has streamlined things for us and we were able to discontinue two of our other softwares we were using. Our organization uses it non-stop and it has helped us keep things organized much better across the board. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ramp?

It doesn't sync the Product Service Codes with QBO yet - but they said they are looking into it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?

No more lost receipts because they can submit it the second it prints for them - and they can do it via text, email, or uploading! We are able to process reimbursements and vendor payments so much faster too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Ramp?

Expense reconcilliation done as you go, prompting receipts, account codes and descriptions is the best part of Ramp. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ramp?

The accounting side is my least favorite. It is difficult to find things for the end of month you have to dig too much, reports have to be modified every month to get details your company specifically needs and it takes WAY TOO MUCH TIME!! The exporting is not easy as it could be as you do not have any idea what charges are going to be part of the debit to account until the statement day so you can't really prepare early. It is not as user friendly as I had hoped at the begining and spend way too much time in the accounting side which leads me to think it may outweigh the benefits of what I like best about Ramp. Customer support suffers, as I like to have a real person to talk with on issues I have encountered and to get help. it seems that is not your strength for your product and for me "chats" do not benefit me when it comes to accounting issues. I think there is a need for big improvement in this side and listening to your users will help you get there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?

Users providing receipts, account codes to charge and explanation or purpose of charge. Accountability!!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Ramp?

So easy to use! My team members love the system when it comes to submitting for reimbursements. The bill paying for clients is so simple as well. Reporting on reimbursements within a given period is a piece of cake. Being able to issue one time cards to remote employees- absolutely fantastic! So many amazing things about Ramp, has definitely freed up so much needed time in accounting and administration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ramp?

The only thing that I wish Ramp allowed is the ability to determine who needs to review what reimbursement requests from team members - for example: Team member A submits a reimbursement for a work related reimbursement, the notification for this reimbursement would go to the manager and then Admin for approval. But Team member B submits a wellbeing reimbursement, as this is NOT a work reimbursement, only the Admin would receive the notification, NOT the manager. As it's not possible to select what reimbursements managers are notified of, we cannot attach managers to team members which is a disappointment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?

Ease of reimbursing team members and collecting receipts, this has also helped with QBO management as well. Being able to issue not only physical cards, but also virtual cards is a huge asset. The real time management of those cards is incredible as well - so quick and easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Ramp?

The simple interface makes it easy for card holders to track their own spend and stay up to date on receipts and memos. Much less time on my end chasing people down for receipts and determining what the spend was for. Holds people accountable for their own spend and reconciling at month end has become so much faster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ramp?

Managing multi-entity spend is still a bit cumbersome, but that is because we are tied to Quickbooks. Once we transition to our new platform, we will be able to allocate expenses across the entire organization with just a drop down choice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?

Holding individuals accountable for their own documentation and doing it at the time of sale makes the follow up so much easier. Spending so much less time tracking down receipts for transactions and we are only in the first full month of implementation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Ramp?

Ramp saw our corporation as the business entity it is, and didn't require personal guarantee's to establish a corporate card account. Setting up cards for all of our employees was easy and straight forward. Managing ongoing spend is efficient and insightful when using Ramps analytics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ramp?

Applying our earned cash back rewards was the only thing I had to spend a little time on researching how to manage Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?

Ramp allows each card holder to manage their account individually, and doesn't require to the administrator to get involved with having to manage declined transactions or lost cards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
