Customer support answers immediately or very soon after we write with inquires and are pretty good in solving issues or fixing minor bugs. I do like the fact that the SIS interface can be customized and we even were able to develop our own apps and integrate them in the system. Cost of customizing templates is acceptable. All in all a great ratio of quality/cost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is missing some functionalities that we could use, or the functionalities are there but are a little limited for our particular use. I find that most SIS providers have this issue though, and even if they do offer all functionalities (at huge prices), the still don't completely meet our needs, so not a major issue with Quickschools. We have requested that they allow some kind of formatting in the emails we send to parents or staff through QS, hoping that they will add this capability soon. Quickschools has the same features of the expensive big company gradebook systems: we use the online gradebooks for teachers, parent access, report card printing, attendance records, and student files. The biggest difference between Quickschools and the 3 other programs I have tried at our school, is that Quickschools is simple and easy to follow. They take out the 1,000 of options (which other companies offer) and make it a simple program that is easy for parents and teachers to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The least helpful part of the Quickschools is their customer service. I appreciate the fact that they have live chat available, but some of the people are not very helpful. When I print report cards it seems that we always have a few technical problems and something doesn't flow right from the gradebook to the report card. Customer service is always willing to help, but if you get the wrong person it can take hours or days to fix the problem at hand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The thing I like most is the Report Creator feature of Quickshools which allows me to compile all sorts of parent and student data in the order I want.. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Well.. there's nothing to dislike actually but I would appreciate it if we could change the website's theme a bit.. It looks way too simple.. Make it look bold. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the fact that the system is customizable and the engineering team is willing to help and creatively figure out solutions to further tailor the product to you. We have done this several times and they have never let us down. The features that are offered are great and pricing is very competitive, even for smaller businesses such as mine that is on a tighter fixed budget. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There really are not any features that I dislike about the system. When we have an issue, all we do is either call or chat and it is fixed. It is awesome at the customer service level that this company delivers. They have helped us tailor our system so that it works for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We have been with QuickSchools for a number of years. When we began using the system they were still a very young company. The thing that we love about QuickSchools is their willingness to grow with us. They have a team of professionals who are dedicated to making the system work and address our individual needs as a school. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is not much negative to say. If I had to choose one thing to improve upon with would be the ability to make a voice/phone connection with the team more often. Their customer service is spot on, but sometimes the chat feature can get a little bundle some and difficult to relay thought processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What makes Quickschools really stand out is the easy, clean user interface. Our teachers are all enjoying the organized grade books, and love the easy and comprehensive subcategories available for formulating final grades. Quickschools in general has helped our school be more transparent and gives the students more clarity on teacher expectations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What we would change in Quickschools is to have report card grades editable once the grades populate, and then have the transcripts created using the final grade that appears in the report card, not from the grade books. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Support chat team is always extremely helpful and extremely nice! The cost is very reasonable and it does almost as much as the more expensive school tracking options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Fee tracking for parents can be a bit difficult, wish it had easier option to upload school calendar, wish report cards were a little easier to edit and that teachers could add their own comments in their own gradebooks, and attendance is difficult for schools that might have a non-traditional class setup.
For the cost though, most of the features are excellent! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We are a consortium of European universities running international Joint Master's progammes. And each of our institutions has their own grading systems depending on the country where they're based. We conducted a long search before we could finally find a system like QuickSchools. No other software could allow us to manage such a diverse group of students and staff in the way QuickSchools does. Nothing in particular. But it'd be nice to have some more customization freely available when generating transcripts, reports etc. In addition, as we're universities/collages, we'd appreciate some more college-oriented apps or customizations (exam management for instance). I like how Quickschools offers so many different features that really help manage the entire school's data in one place. For example, we can maintain student records, attendance, grades, report card, etc. The QS team is very responsive and helpful. I have chatted with the support team multiple times, and they have helped me resolve multiple issues I've had. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are small random things I dislike about Quickschools, that are oversights on their part. For example, discipline records are accessible by all teachers. For the sake of privacy, there should be a way to limit who can access certain data, yet still have it accessible by multiple parties. I also wish we didn't have to pay extra for certain features, such as collecting tuition. Additionally, some things are organized strangely, such as students' classes. There should be an easier way to enroll students in multiple subjects. Report cards should also be more customizable. I also wish they would allow you to standardize the students' data report so that it is compatible with the legal form that must be filled out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like how customizable the system is, especially the reports. I really appreciate how accessable help has been through the chat function. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't have any dislikes. The software is great and I am very satisfied. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
