QuickBooks doesn't have the most powerful accounting options, if your books are complex with multiple layers like multiple companies, intercompany transactions, reporting, and automation of reversing entries. Do not recommend QuickBooks for payroll, as they have consistently screwed up paying our payroll taxes, which caused multiple issues with the state. A feature that is on the desktop version that was cut from the online version is the ability to upload journal entries. When requiring a high volume of data, this import feature can be helpful. I can manage all my clients' work in Quickbooks. I can schedule all the tasks that need attention for various clients. I can create client requests and projects.

I like that Quickbooks Online is such a widely used and trusted platform I can add clients seamlessly, run my own firm's financials quickly and clearly, and also have options for how I manage client accounts such as wholesale or just added as a user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are a number of banks that do not connect easily to the bank feed. There is also not a way to bulk add Payees as there is in bulk category reclassification which can be a tedious task that comes up relatively often for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sometimes internet speeds may be a bit low and we need to rely on what we have. Would love to have an offline and a light desktop version of the app so we would be able to use less memory (using chrome for QB can make computers slow). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

QuickBooks Accountant has Intuit-ive user interface, and is easy to use by beginner accountants and veterans alike. You can do pretty much anything you hope you can do with QuickBooks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are small glitches, such as a transaction not appearing in an account register immediately upon saving, so you have to learn little fixes like re-sorting the columns to get the transaction to show up without having to refresh your web browser. I like using QuickBooks Online Accountant because it is characterized by the ability to allow users to carry out every accounting task using all its features from within hence it saves me a lot of time spent moving files from one software to another to create custom financial statements, notes, inserting attachments among other tasks.

My other favourite part about using QuickBooks Online Accountant is that it promotes order and create responsibilities among team members for accountability. Using this feature QuickBooks Online Accountant allows me to allocate my team members with specific client books and primary contacts for any query with their books which is very convenient.

I also like QuickBooks because of how it lessens my workload in terms of in-built reports that include general ledger and trial balance among others. I have found this feature to be very vital in my workflow since it gives me a step ahead in report writing and this saves a lot of time. More so I like that it allows me to set up email reports that can be sent to me according to the scheduled period. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My only dislike in using this product is how it lacks an easier way to clean up outdated reports which I have found to be an exhausting and time-consuming process.

Removed the apps that were able to be used on a Mac and Windows. Did they get rid of the iOS and Android apps? It they did this is a huge negative and I would change my rating from an 8 to a 3.

Customization is still there but I dont think it is "as clean" as thru the apps.

Another benefit that is lost is the ability to potentially flip thru applications, as you are now flipping through tabs in the browser. But if you have five tabs open on the browser you need to flip thru them all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
