What do you like best about Expanse?

The best part about Expanse Expander is the product team. They do a great job of listening to us and incorporating what our desires are into the product. Additionally, the changes are implemented quickly. Expanse also assists in providing us a substantial view into our external security footprint. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Expanse?

The one thing that is disappointing about Expanse is that they have recently changed some of their product views and these were the initial product views we have been used to since we began using the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Expanse:

Be prepared to see data about your external security that you have not seen in the past. The data is thorough and you'll determine your weaknesses quickly and understand where to focus your efforts on enhancing your overall security footprint. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Expanse solving and how is that benefiting you?

Expanse provides us a view into our external security footprint that we did not have previously. They are able to find items on the Internet stood up by shadow IT, or other parts of the company that were not approved. This allows us to track these down and have them removed to keep our external security health in a good state. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Expanse?

Well documented API in Swagger, good pagination features, good customer support and performance. The API is more featured than the web interface, but the web interface serves as a good place to explore the data and design analysis scripts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Expanse?

At the time of writing this, Expanse is deprecating a few of their endpoints. A few calls have had to be tweaked, but the documentation has made that easy enough, and the deprecated endpoints are still functional. Just a part of using any API. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Expanse solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about Expanse?

I love the feeling and confidence I get when I answer questions relating to our digital risk and exposure. Thanks to Expander's ability, I am able to produce a comprehensive list of assets with mitigation plan that potentially would have gone undetected and unmitigated. Proven RIO from the start. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Expanse?

Some features in the portal such as reporting are still basic and need a few upgrades to be more useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Expanse:

I would recommend this product for at least a POC so you can compare what you think you know about your assets against their findings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Expanse solving and how is that benefiting you?

Visibility and discovery of our known and unknown external assets to include our cloud infrastructure. The benefits included an accurate list and description of assets with mitigation strategy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
