What do you dislike about QA Wolf?

The reporting product interface could benefit from some improvements to enhance clarity and user-friendliness. It can be difficult to quickly know which parts of the application are being actively tested without reaching out to support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is QA Wolf solving and how is that benefiting you?

QA testing plays a critical role in identifying bugs and ensuring the overall quality of our production application. However, conducting comprehensive testing internally can be time-consuming and resource-intensive. QA Wolf addresses this problem by providing dedicated QA testing services, allowing us to offload the testing workload and ensure thorough testing of our application. By partnering with QA Wolf, we benefit from their expertise in testing methodologies and practices. Their dedicated focus on QA testing enables them to provide a level of coverage that might be challenging to achieve internally. As a result, our application undergoes comprehensive testing, minimizing the risk of undetected bugs or issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about QA Wolf?

QAWolf has an entire team dedicated to writing and maintaining end-to-end tests for your application and, from my experience, the team doesn't need a lot of hand-holding to get up to speed writing test cases. When failures happen, the team is quick to respond and update tests or alert the team about a breaking change. The tests seem to be reliable and execute quickly so there isn't wasted time investigating flaky tests or waiting for slow workflows. If you decide to stop using QAWolf, you can also take the tests cases from their dashboard and integrate them into your application yourself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QA Wolf?

The only thing I dislike about QAWolf is that the tests are managed by someone else. Of course, this is also a benefit, however I do think that actively building and maintaining your tests gives you a better picture of your software as a whole. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about QA Wolf?

What I like best about QA Wolf is their ability to streamline the testing process while maintaining high-quality results. The platform is incredibly user-friendly, making it easy for both technical and non-technical team members to run. I especially appreciate the robust documentation and responsive support team, which ensures that any questions or challenges are quickly addressed. Additionally, QA Wolf's ability to automate tests and integrate seamlessly with our development pipeline has saved us countless hours, allowing us to focus more on building features and less on testing. Overall, it’s a reliable and efficient solution that significantly improves the speed and quality of our product releases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QA Wolf?

It would be helpful to have more detailed logs to view the validation information. Despite these small things, QA Wolf remains a strong and effective solution for most testing needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about QA Wolf?

QA Wolf takes care of the foundational E2E test coverage so our team doesn’t have to spend time writing and maintaining repetitive tests. I especially like how hands-off it is—the tests just run in the background and catch regressions without us needing to think about them. Their communication is fast and clear—we get notified quickly when something breaks, which helps us respond before it becomes a bigger issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QA Wolf?

The only real challenge we’ve faced is around pricing. As our test suite grew, we eventually hit our budget limit and couldn’t add more coverage beyond what was already in place. It would be nice to have a bit more flexibility or scalable options as needs evolve, especially for growing teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is QA Wolf solving and how is that benefiting you?

QA Wolf has helped us get reliable E2E test coverage in place without needing to hire a dedicated QA engineer or spend time writing and maintaining those tests ourselves. Now we have a solid test suite covering our core business flows, which gives us confidence in each release. As engineers, we can focus more on building new features instead of worrying about regressions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about QA Wolf?

QA Wolf has enabled us to automatically run an exhaustive test suite to ensure the releases we build are really ready for the public, and that the changes don't introduce serious regressions. I love how it integrates with Asana and Slack so that we can get the most up to date results right into our workflows. The dashboard where I can monitor the number of tests passing or failing is super helpful. The QA Wolf team is so responsive, understands our business so well, and has really built tools that help us ensure a high product quality. We have great communication that ensures that when we make changes, our tests are maintained and updated promptly. I honestly don't think I could launch another product without using them from the get-go. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QA Wolf?

I like everything about QA Wolf and can't think of anything I would change!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is QA Wolf solving and how is that benefiting you?

QA Wolf solves the need to have an in-house QA team, and reduces our reliance on manual tests. With their tool we're able to run automated testing on our mobile app. Before this we had to have our engineers manually test each release, which took ~2-3 days to complete. While we still run manual tests as a smokescreen, we have reduced our hands-on time to about 20 minutes per build.

I also appreciate that building test cases for QA Wolf helps us to formally document features and expected results. It's really helpful to have the app functionality organized logically by the test cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about QA Wolf?

Working as an SDET at Autotrader.ca, I've had the pleasure of collaborating with QA Wolf, and it's been a game-changer for our QA process. Here's how they've made a difference:

Seamless Test Automation: I write manual test cases, send them over to QA Wolf, and their automation team turns them into automated scripts. The best part? They send back these scripts with step-by-step video walkthroughs, making it super easy to follow along and ensure everything's spot on.

More Time for Manual Testing: With QA Wolf handling the automation, I can focus on manually testing new features for each release. This means I can dive deeper into exploratory testing and write more detailed test cases, knowing that the automation is in good hands.

Smooth Integration: They've integrated the automated tests into our release pipeline. So, every time there's a new build in the QA environment, the test suites run automatically and alert us to any broken functionalities. Plus, they run sanity tests in production after each deployment, adding an extra layer of confidence.

Proactive Bug Reporting: If something breaks, QA Wolf doesn't just flag it; they provide detailed bug reports. This proactive approach helps us address issues swiftly and maintain the quality of our product.

In a nutshell, QA Wolf has been an invaluable partner, streamlining our QA process and allowing us to focus on delivering top-notch features to our users. Their support has truly elevated our testing game. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QA Wolf?

Honestly I couldn't find one thing that I dislike about QA wolf. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is QA Wolf solving and how is that benefiting you?

QA Wolf has been a game-changer for us at Autotrader.ca. They've taken the load of automating our manual test cases off our shoulders, allowing us to focus on testing new features and writing detailed test cases. Their integration into our release pipeline ensures that with every new build, automated tests run smoothly, catching any issues early on. Plus, their proactive bug reporting helps us address problems before they escalate. What do you like best about QA Wolf?

I absolutely love QAWolf's automation solutions; they're able to take the Test Cases we provide, and come back to us with reliable and efficient automated tests! They're amazing communicators, are always quick to report real bugs, and are completely open to take part in follow-up chats. They've been so valuable in all of the work that we do every day, and have been huge in giving us peace of mind, whether it's automating tests for new features, or existing systems! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QA Wolf?

I only wish the text editor when making Coverage Requests on the QAWolf side was a little more robust; adding Coverage Requests in Slack is a good alternative, but I feel like it would be easier to have everything contained on the QAWolf end - a better text editor, with the ability to add images, etc. - might help! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is QA Wolf solving and how is that benefiting you?

Across the board, QAWolf has been a huge help for us at Prodigy. When it comes to automated tests across our existing websites to make sure core functionality is going strong, QAWolf has been there. When there's new features, or user experiments, that we'd like to automate, and look into over shorter periods, QAWolf has been a great help! Even when testing different user scenarios within our games, QAWolf has been absolutely incredible with that too! They've been a very reliable partner in software automation! What do you like best about QA Wolf?

I have found working with QA Wolf to be very rewarding; they are a skilled, engaged, highly professional team that cares about results and adding value. They are very autonomous and are able to develop rigorous test coverage with little guidance, and thoroughly vet bugs before forwarding them to us. While working with them, we've had excellent engagement...none of the delayed back and forth that sometimes characterizes engagements with other firms, nor a flood of valid but low-impact bugs to provide their value. Instead, they've shown up as I would expect members of my own team to, which makes me comfortable on relying on them for this function, and which makes the teams they interact with here happy to have them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QA Wolf?

I can't think of any, really. Even the tests they write belong to us, so we aren't locked in due to sunk cost issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is QA Wolf solving and how is that benefiting you?

QA Wolf has bootstrapped out frontend test automation, which is not something we've focused on previously. They brought a wealth of experience and insight and have helped this program be truly effective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about QA Wolf?

Our team has had an exceptional experience working with QA Wolf. They have been instrumental in helping us write automated tests for our applications, and their thoroughness has been truly impressive.

From the start, their team demonstrated a deep understanding of our needs, ensuring that every test was comprehensive and well-structured. Their attention to detail has given us confidence in our automation suite, and we’ve already seen the benefits in terms of improved efficiency and reliability.

Beyond their technical expertise, QA Wolf has been fantastic to work with. Their communication is top-notch—they keep us informed every step of the way, proactively address any concerns, and collaborate seamlessly with our team. It’s clear they care about delivering quality results and making the process as smooth as possible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QA Wolf?

The cost of the tests at some point is prohibitive Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is QA Wolf solving and how is that benefiting you?

We don't have enough QA staffed at our company to keep up with the workload and to write the tests we would like to automate. QA was able to take our written tests and convert them into automated tests so that our in house QA team could focus elsewhere Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about QA Wolf?

I'm really happy with the QA Wolf product. It was able to quickly spin up meaningful regression tests against a rather complex web application. The regression tests have continued to prove their worth as we continue to improve our product. The best part is that QA Wolf's hands-off approach for test creation and regression bug triage allows my team to focus on creating new and exciting features without having to spend large portions of their time ensuring existing functionality is still working.

QA Wolf was very easy to implement. They handled the onboarding and test creations, and any issues or concerns we had were quickly addressed. We run regression tests several times a day, and the ease of setup and integration with our CI/CD process has made life much simpler in terms of testing and releasing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QA Wolf?

A full regression run can take a long time to complete and review. This is mainly due to our product's complex setup, which can cause other areas not to behave as expected during testing. This limits the number of concurrent tests that can run, which increases run times. I believe this is less an issue with QA Wolf's product than with the complexity of our product. However, as QA Wolf learns more about our product setup, the tests are getting better and more stable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is QA Wolf solving and how is that benefiting you?

QA Wolf solves the continualy problem with any software updates, introduced regression bugs. They are great at implementing useful tests that have proven to quickly catch introduced regression bugs as we continue to update and improve our product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about QA Wolf?

I was skeptical of QA Wolf's claims that they would hit their advertised rate of tests. but so far they've hit out of park in terms of test quality, coverage, and speed of implentation. We're already seeing value in the first month, just from the tests alone. That isn't to mention their actual test running suite/system. It's really easy as a technical manager to go see what the tests are doing, and how they fail when they do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QA Wolf?

Not much to be honest, the price can be hard to swallow, or at least was for me at first. That said if you want top notch E2E testing you're paying for it time or money. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is QA Wolf solving and how is that benefiting you?

QA Wolf has allowed my engineering team to focus on value generating feature development while letting QA Wolf handle managing our E2E suite. At it's core it's like staff augementation, but with a great SaaS platform to back it up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
