What do you like best about Purplepass Ticketing?

We've been using Purple Pass since 2019 across 6 different events, and we fully intend to keep using them for our events in the future. Ticketing software is as varied as the wide array of ticketing needs out there, but for what we use Purple Pass for, it does the job perfectly. We love the customizable "look and feel" for the purchasers' end, and all of the "back-end" options for the sellers. For example, downloading spreadsheet reports of all of your purchases makes it easy to create check-off lists, search for specific purchasers, etc.

There are also several features I haven't delved into, but I'm happy that they're there if we decide to utilize them, such as SMS Texting and Emailing customers, using tracking links, etc.

It's also nice to view easy-to-read generated stats for ticket sales, so you can gauge the success of specific marketing campaigns.

Lastly, I'll mention that I love the simple pricing structure. It's a very reasonable small percentage and set price per ticket. There is no having to write up contracts long term, purchase bulk packages of tickets, etc. Very simple and nice. We use other ticketing software for different needs we have, but Purple Pass is perfect for what we use it for, and the pricing is much better!

What do you dislike about Purplepass Ticketing?

For what it does, it's great! It's not quite as "full-featured" as some other software, but it does exactly what it claims to do very well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Purplepass Ticketing?

PurplePass allows us to offer unique coupon code combinations, mass upload coupon code lists, and offer a custom-looking ticket purchasing experience. They bent over backwards to help answer our questions and even added custom programming where coupon codes could be stacked to meet our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Purplepass Ticketing?

One of the custom reports has a weird offset issue in the export where the data is placed in multiple columns. Also, the reports always show Pacific Time, even when we select another timezone for the export. However, PP is aware of these issues and is in the process of overhauling their entire site, so I expect these issues will be addressed in the near future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We used to offer ticket sales in person, and PP enables us to offer online. Additionally, our student body receives free tickets to some events, and often a group of students reserve tickets on one order, so PP added programming to handle stacked coupon codes (not a small feat, by any measure!). What do you like best about Purplepass Ticketing?

Purplepass was a very easy system to use and navigate. I have used other platforms before to plan my conferences with ticket sales and notifications to attendees. Purplepass was by far the best system to use. I received great technical support and assistance throughout setting up my ticket sales and payouts when my conference was completed. Purplepass makes setting up a conference very simplistic and a great resource for those that do not have a lot of time to devote to keeping up with ticket sales. We searched many ticketing services while looking for a new provider. PurplePass has some of the most competitive prices around. Their customer service is very responsive, and our representative is always willing and able to help us. The design of the site is easy to navigate. We have found that some of the search features for ticket orders do not work in a similar fashion that we are used to. It would be helpful for the purchased seats to appear in a seating chart format on the back end. Neither of these is a deal breaker, and we are certainly getting used to using the new system. Regarding your desire to view purchased seats on the seating chart, you are already able to do this. Log into your account and click on the "Map" button for your event. This loads the seating map manager for your event where you can manage holds and notes. You are able to click any sold seat on the map to see the full order details of that customer including all other seats in that order.

Ease of set up for the coordinator and the user has no trouble purchasing tickets. When you have issues, they are always there to help you through it. Excellent customer support. I love that the same people are working there since 2017, when we started using the service. It shows that it's a good company to work for and I like dealing with the same people all the time. Statistics are great; money is sent to us quickly - love the digital checks. Love the passwords we can use. Regarding your comment about the time zone, that was an issue during COVID as our support staff had to be scaled down so it was ran out of our headquarters in California. Now that things are back to normal, our support is back to usual with our 24/7/365 phone support with support staff spread out throughout the country in all time zones.

What do you like best about Purplepass Ticketing?

We LOVE how user-friendly the platform has been for us. The setup was pretty intuitive and since we produce the same event twice a year, being able to copy & create a new event with previous settings is super time-saving.
