Due to the nature of our work, we have many different processes for each of our individual clients. Pulpo WMS has given their all to assisting us in finding a WMS solution that will work for us. I'd like to thank Vadim from the Pulpo team for his incredible support and helping us understand the capabilities of the system over time. When it comes down to it the system seems to be rich in useful features that can be molded and shaped to your specific processes if need be. I'd say the system works great for inventory tracking and management, allowing us to receive incoming goods, modify stock, and store them to positions in our warehouse. I'd say the main challenges we've had with Pulpo WMS come down to the UI/UX and ensuring all integrations with our systems and our clients' systems are configured properly for our use case and in working order. Other than that the shipping functionality is limited. Although there is an integration with shipstation, you can not determine the best rates or ship under 3rd party accounts for better rates with ease. Due to this, we've mainly been using to Pulpo WMS to keep track of stock and pick items. However, due to the fact that we are not shipping with the platform, I find it makes extra steps in the picking/packing process that may not be necessary. Additionally, if you are shipping outside of Pulpo, you must ship the items prior to picking them in order to not mark the item as fulfilled in Shopify with no tracking information. PULPO WMS stands out for its exceptional support, user-friendly interface, and efficient warehouse management capabilities. The system streamlines operations, optimizes inventory tracking, and ensures smooth order fulfillment. One of the biggest advantages is the proactive customer support team, always ready to assist and find solutions tailored to our needs. Additionally, its automation features and real-time data insights help improve efficiency and reduce errors, making it a valuable asset for warehouse operations. Some customization options are limited, which can make adapting the system to specific business needs a bit challenging, however they still try to adapt and offer us a workaround. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like best about PULPO WMS is its flexibility and ease of use. The system is incredibly easy to implement—taking only a week to get fully operational in our warehouse—and requires no initial costs, which is a significant advantage for any growing business. The pay-per-operator pricing model allows us to scale our expenses as our company grows, rather than being locked into a high, upfront investment. Additionally, the ability to use smartphones instead of expensive barcode scanners has helped us save on hardware costs. The 24-hour support is also a great feature, providing peace of mind knowing that assistance is always available when needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly, there isn't much to dislike about PULPO WMS. The platform is continually improving Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Pulpo is really easy to use. The integration platform with shopify is clear and very easy to configure for a non-developer. I like the approach it takes in updating inventory on Shopify which reduces the need to constant reconciliation tasks between the WMS and the E-commerce platform. The availability of training manuals and support makes it easy to roll out to staff. Finally, I like the fact that we did not have to spent a fortune on hardware required for our staff. It is compatible with basic android mobile devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Reporting is not self service, nevertheless the support for reports is very good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Picking orders for our online orders is super simple via Pulpo WMS and Puplo support is top class Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I can't think of anything I majorly dislike about Pulpo WMS Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
An easy and straightforward way of setting it up and implementing it. No big milestone projects over weeks with a 6-digit setup fee: just plain and pure WMS that fits all our needs as a fulfiller and comes with very good integrations of shops and ERPs.
In combination with the highly motivated and skilled team, it's a very smooth and good process of getting the software implemented and running. Can highly recommend Pulpo as WMS, especially if you have tried a lot and never really found what you were looking for - our past looked like: either the software had all the features but the price and implementation time were beyond or it was pricy and easy to start with but the feature set was very poor and did not really suit our warehouse/fulfillment needs.
And good thing is, that they have a very promising feature pipeline shipping new features every once and a while. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is not really anything I can dislike at the moment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We use Plentymarkets as an ERP system in e-commerce. As a provider of refurbished goods in the consumer electronics sector, we encounter various challenges here, as Plentymarkets does not offer enough options for our specific market. For example, the ERP system does not support extensive warehouse management with serial numbers. Pulpo WMS allows us to record all process steps in the warehouse with serial numbers and therefore ensures transparency in the warehouse. Added to this is the processing via smartphone, i.e. completely paperless picking. The link to Plentymarkets also works very well. In summary, this was exactly the right solution for us. Of course, every software has potential for improvement and some weaknesses. In the past, the Pulpo WMS team has taken all criticisms into account and implemented solutions promptly. Pulpo WMS is always improving. This is clearly noticeable in daily use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We cooperate with Pulpo WMS for managing our currently two warehouses. During the initial talks it was particularly important to us to have a fast onboarding as we had a very limited time frame to go live. Additionally we needed some minor adjustments to fit our specific case of a quick commerce grocery delivery company.
The team of Pulpo showed us great support with general onboarding and adjustments to our requirements while reliably meeting our deadlines.
We use Pulpo WMS for basically all inventory related actions in our warehouses (inbound, inventory management, counting, inventory movements, picking&packing, etc.).
For us it is very valuable to have one system that covers warehouse management and fulfillment in one, allows to manage multiple warehouses with their own zoning logic and have a reliable contact person on hand to support us through our journey. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In general Pulpo WMS is created for having 100% accuracy through your inventory levels and any kinds of warehouse tasks (picking, packing, movement, counting, etc.). As this does make total sense in general, we as a quick commerce company, sometimes need to prioritize speed over accuracy in certain areas. Therefore some initial processes were not ideal for our setup, eventually though, with the help of the Pulpo team, we figured out a well working solution for our use case. Pulpo has a very modern solution.
A lot of different Shop system interface integrations.
If a direct interface isn't developed yet, they will develop the interface.
Moreover, they do have a very good description of their API, thereby it shouldn't be any problem to connect to the WMS-System.
You do have the possibility to change your warehouse setup every moment and setting up your warehouse is easy!
Not only the technical solution was very impressive, but also their customer care and the talks with them.
A special thanks to Andrea in this case, who always has been available, no matter what time.
In total we looked at 7 different WMS-Systems - Pulpo was outstanding. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing, which is worth mentioning here is that they don't have any agreements with hardware suppliers.
If they had this - they would be able to offer a all in one solution for warehouses and their fulfillment area. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Pulpo software for warehouse management is extremely user-friendly and intuitive, making it easy for my team to quickly learn and adapt to. The pick-and-pack process is seamless, and the shipping service integrates with multiple channels, which has greatly improved our efficiency. Pulpo's exceptional customer service and efficient implementation of real-world warehouse solutions make them a reliable partner for businesses looking to optimize their warehouse management processes. Pulpo's export functionality may not be as robust as some users would like, causing difficulties in extracting data in the required format. On the other hand, the company is continuously updating and improving their software to address all issue that could be. Pulpo may not be the ideal solution for businesses that heavily rely on working with loading carriers, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Pulpo WMS is a very lean and easy-to-learn warehouse management software. The warehouse wizard makes layout creation easy and straightforward. The standard functionality already covers a large amount of different processes and a decent amount of customization to make process steps more efficient.
Additionally, the Pulpo team is always looking for new opportunities to improve their product and are happy to get new insights and ideas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Pulpo being a standard product of course doesn't allow for a very high degree of customization in progresses. However, with their approach of continuously improving their product, the team adds new functionality quite frequently, which is always running very stable and reliant. Apart from that, a functionality of handling pallets (full / half pallets, etc.) would be a good addtition to the function portfolio. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
