Protemos is undoubtedly the most user-friendly Translation Management System (TMS) on the market today. Not only does it cater the needs of small or mid-size LSPs, it is also perfectly suitable for freelance translators who are in need of a capable TMS for project management and accounting. The development cycle of the platform is fast and the Customer Support team is super responsive. Protemos has become a must-have tool in my from-quote-to-invoice workflow. Comes highly recommended! I hope the platform will soon be localized into French. Also, I wish the template customization would be more flexible and the platform would provide the user with a more granular way to fine-tune notifications. Last but not least, an app (or a more mobile-friendly) version of the website would be top-notch :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The best thing about Protemos is that it's tidy, and it helps you as a Project Manager get things organized. It is straightforward to use. It is a complete portal; you can enter information from vendors and clients, assign tasks from beginning to end and upload documents up to the billing portion of the work. I'd say it has it all!. Also, it is a big plus you do not have to download any apps, and you can access the portal from any device anywhere!. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The downsides are not many; I wouldn't say I like that they change the portal from one day to the other. When you're used to completing fields in a particular order or way, it's annoying for them to do changes that do not improve the work.
Another thing is that you do not have an option to DELETE a file once you've uploaded it to a task, which would be great to Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My favorite things about Protemos are that:
that it is free for our suppliers
that it is easy and quickly implemented
that it saves a lot of time
that it integrates with Smartcat (and others)
that it is intuitive to use Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am waiting for a deeper integration with Smartcat, as the integration with Smartcat does not go far enough yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
