What do you like best about ProLaw?

Easy to create documents and auto-fill important information such as case details, dates, names. Billing is easy with one click billing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ProLaw?

The "Events" tab which is the most commonly used tab is not organized well. There is too much information and although you can sort it if needed, I would rather be able to toggle back and forth between tabs to compare information without having to constantly reset filters. I like to use this as a resource for legal research and for practical law help. It shows different kinds of documents that I like to review to get a better understanding when trying to understand a concept. I also like the law books section. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ProLaw?

They have always answered back when we contacted them; if asked, they work diligently to update the software with the latest version. Even if you ask for a service that is part of the maintenance package, or that is not suited for your business, instead of trying to make a sale they send you to the right person in their team, let you know what is the best solution for the problem, and they help you without charging for it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ProLaw?

I would like to have some others features available to better manage the firm's operation and sales process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering ProLaw:

You will need to have some processes in place at your firm in order to take full advantage of what Prolaw has to offer. Nonetheless, even if you have some pending work to do to have your policies and processes, Prolaw will certainly help your firm's business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ProLaw solving and how is that benefiting you?

As a small Law firm (7 - 9 lawyers), Prolaw has helped us to coordinate processes, supervise matters more efficiently, keep the whole team better informed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ProLaw?

It's super easy to search by case code or name to bring up the case you need. It helps keep everything regarding that case organized and in one spot, which is great. I'm not aware of any other software that fills all the needs of a law office to keep clients, cases, and billing organized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ProLaw?

It's not the most user friendly, meaning you definitely need to be taught how to use many functions. Trainings for this software are a must. Sometimes searching can be difficult when you need to look something up by a more random field. For example if you have an email and want to know who it belongs to, there is not an easy way to do that. You have to run a search function that looks for certain letters/words in the email in any of the contacts for clients. But even this search command gets easily confused if you try to use any punctuation or state names, which are often included in email addresses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ProLaw solving and how is that benefiting you?

I mostly use the software to close cases when they are finished. I often have to use it to problem solve which attorney worked or billed the case and if all payments are settled before I can close it officially. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are a lot of technical issues with ProLaw. It does not always behave in the most consistent way and can be unpredictable when it comes to various errors that occur. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ProLaw?

We use ProLaw as the firm's docketing system and it has been a positive experience this year. We use the program to calendar dates, set reminders, book conference rooms and it keeps track of all the rules of the different courts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ProLaw?

The only issue I have with the software is that it is not user friendly and requires a great deal of practice in order to get a handle of how the program works. It is not a software that you can learn to work in a couple of days. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ProLaw solving and how is that benefiting you?

Case management and keeping track of upcoming deadlines and appearances. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
